I thought some readers might find this useful. I am in my fourth week out of quarantine here in Pattaya and am using one of the main dating sites for the first time as all the bars and gogos are closed and Beach Road is deserted. Even though I am overweight, balding, ugly and in my mid-60's, I have over 60 girls / women who have contacted me offering to do short time for prices between 1,000 and 1,500 baht. Some of those contacting me haven't been too attractive and many have lied about their age and used photos from several years ago. But some of those girls aged 18 to 25 have been wonderful.

20 years ago you rarely saw Japanese punters in GoGos. A few in Rainbow. They all went to Soi Thaniya to clubs westerns were not allowed in, unless with a Japanese dude, and then only some clubs.

There is a big difference in the way a Japanese acts at "home" in Japan and when abroad. When abroad, they will lose their inhibitions and do what you wouldn't expect. I've seen them in the But me drink bars from Honolulu to Singapore and when they are there and liquored up, they are a different person. I once walked into a bar in Singapore and there were only 3 customers, me and 2 Japanese dudes. Guess which one table had all the women sitting around with drinks flowing and a lot of touchy feely going on.

Even more so, here in Japan they have plenty of places where us non-Japanese can't enter, even if you speak the language. I was escorted into one that did allow strangers and as you would expect, the typical salaryman was wild with abandon, and this was in what was called a "BJ" bar where the hostesses would walk from table to table with offers of drinks, a squeeze on the tits and a BJ if the price is right.

Not from what I've seen. Get those guys liquored up and they lose their inhibitions and let go. That's why it used to be between Black / White or Japanese / Koreans in those bars, women would tend to flock towards the Asians even though they were excessively feely, they dropped more cash.

Koreans and Japanese don't need to grope girls in the gogo bars. Unlike Farang who feel the need to grab as much tits and ass as they can for their single lady drink, Asians will just sit on their hands and continually buy drinks.

The Soi 6 bars have now moved their Live feeds to their scummy rooms.

My friend who lives in Pattaya told me many bars in Soi 6 are closed but they open just for you if you want fuck a lady. Few ladies work, but the bars are closed! They open the bar just for you and then you go directly to the room. Or if you prefer, the lady go to your room directly!

No it won't. They will get the same American, Korean, Chinese, and weekend monger crowd they were always getting. GoGo / strip club game don't change regardless of what continent one lives in. Just because it's not one persons thing don't mean one can speak for anyone else.

Take a walkdown soi honey in the afternoon multiple massage shops have girls hanging out in front. Technically the shop is closed but its actually open. If you are worried they will go to your room also. Got to walk / drive around a bit and you will see other "closed" shops with girls out front.

Gogo bars will be just fine when the Japanese and Koreans return. They're the driving force behind the Pattaya gogo scene. Other than Sapphire, Windmill, and maybe Kink and Skyfall the Farang gogo bars didn't do very well even pre-COVID.

Gogos will have even more trouble finding girls than they have recently because girls can make money online.

I have to disagree, The Thai lady of the night is not a lone wolf, she prefers the comfort and security of the pack / environment.

She may offer herself online but much prefers company and fun rather than the cold and unsuccessful messaging apps.

Also, most these girls come from upcountry so to them, the bar or massage scene is a proven, successful model.

Some Party a little. Others hardly at all.

Internet websites will continue to offer girls at much lower prices which means less barfines for bar owners. Gogos will have even more trouble finding girls than they have recently because girls can make money online. Gogos will continue to exist because guys will still want to go out at night but they won't be the same. In a worst case gogos will become more like American style strip clubs where girls dance and tease.
