I took the opportunity to return to Thailand this year for the month of August, I left just 30+ days ago. Over the years I have been to Thailand a number of times, so I have familiarity with the country and my last few trips have been predominantly to Pattaya.

I have read ISG for quite a while- finding it sometimes informative and a good guide from those on the ground most recently and from those living in Pattaya. Based on information gleaned from the many treads I have read, I have traveled as a Tourist who enjoys ladies, not a monger, it seems good.

Therefore, this Report may be helpful to Newbies, and it is also an update for future and experienced travelers. It is formatted as I did last year with some updates and new information.

August.. For a variety of reasons I traveled for the month of August, hoping that the raining season was either behind me or in front of me, I was really lucky, as the weather ranged from 6:00 am 27 see or 80 degrees F, to 5:00 pm 32 see or 90 F degrees- every day of the month. The sun being very intense in the afternoon.. And it rained for two hours one evening only, for the entire month. Humidity is high all the time in Thailand- take lots of showers.

It was very slow in Pattaya, not many tourists, Thai or Farang, much to the worry of the ladies, who said there were no customers. Of the visitors, Chinese and Indian were the most often seen, but predominately in Central Pattaya for the Indians and Na Jomtien for the Chinese- my observation, not many European Westerners, some Australian holiday makers and very few North Americans. There are also said to be quite a few Russians in Pattaya, which I encountered at the pool, mostly families, and did not encounter many in the entertainment areas.

There were plenty of ladies, but I did hear of some going to their home villages for visits and a few lucky ones going to visit sponsors in Europe and Japan.

The bars really showed the lack of customers but seemed to be filled with bored and lonely ladies waiting for something, someone, anything.

The Tourist reliant Thai people had a very hard time with the pandemic, many are still hungry, most lost all their savings if they had any, but there is still optimism about the future as they enter the rainy season and depend on the "high season" to recover and start the cycle all over again.

Some acquaintances ask why I return Thailand via that awful long, expensive airplane trip.. Well a few thoughts and reasons: in Thailand- no one cares what visitors look like; bald, overweight, pasty skin, beer belly ladened, old tattoos.. , the weather is generally good hot and sweaty, the food is good and cheap, ..no car is needed as taxi, bus and Baht Bus (10 Baht) can easily move you from one point to another, ... Accommodations are varied and inexpensive, There is quite a bit to do, but I do recommend establishing a routine for your day. Get into a routine- can't drink all the time- walk, swim, eat, keep up with paperwork, computer, world events, foot massage, afternoon session, tourist attractions which I will mention later, walks, People watching is a major thing to do, And language is easy to get by with English... And you probably will not see anyone you know from back home, I like these things and find Pattaya a great place to visit.

Non-Mongering Activities.

In establishing my own routine while in Pattaya, I researched a number of activities prior to arrival as well as while in Thailand. I found there is lots of Golf nearby which I did not take advantage of, there is little fishing in the area, you need to go to Udon Thani, or Hau Hin or other for pond fishing which is great but lots of logistics. In the past I have taken trips to Bangkok for several days for sightseeing which can be real good, but I have done that. So I concentrated on the Pattaya area.

As most of what I found was outside of the immediate Pattaya area I concluded that I would need transportation- I will not drive in Thailand thanks. So, I would need a car and driver- was my conclusion, how do I find?

I posted a message: "Car and Driver wanted" for local adventures with English speaking driver. I got a great response from a local guy who put me in contact with is "Driver" who happens to be a 48 year old lady, non P4 P who needs side 'gigs', is a Bolt Taxi driver, and speaks pretty good English- we clicked, she is a great, smart, kind, a lady who I would happily recommend- send me a private message if you want her contact information.

We put the following "adventures" together, and over a month had a good time, they kept me off the streets and were not a big expense.

• Sriracha Town, Ko Sichang Island and "Bangkok" Anchorage.

O Drive approximately 40 minutes to Sriracha Town a typical midsized non tourist Thai town – short drive around, then to ferry dock to Ko Schang Island, 40 minutes traveling through the Anchorage where nearly all cargo and tanker ships transit or are anchored. Tut Tut tour of Ko Schang Island with one beautiful Temple, nice beach where drinks and lunch were good. 9-5 with ferry schedules.

• Nong Nooch Botanical Gardens and Shows, Big Budda Mountain.

O Drive toward Sattahip about 30 minutes to a very professionally created landscape garden business which has been transformed into a Event Center, model dinosaur exhibit, car and truck exhibit, cultural show, elephant show, and dining are packaged together very well logistically all for large crowds- well done, good for one visit.

• Mong Chang Cafe, Sanctuary of Truth, Bamboo Bay Beach Club.

O The small Elephant Village- Mong Chang Cafe was welcoming but created for the Chinese market, skip.

O Sanctuary of Truth is spectacular – look it up on the internet, a structure being built over 40 years all of wood telling mistic stories through wood carvings in this huge structure- well worth it and fairly close, facility Guides included.

O Bamboo Bay Beach Club in nearby NaKluea, good food, drinks, some music, beach umbrellas and chairs- a couple hours chilling along the beach- good if in the area.

• Bacco Beach Lunch in Na Jomtien, Ambassador Beach.

O Na Jomtien about 30-minute drive with traffic, gourmet style lunch, drinks, chilling a great beach with rentals, music and a variety of Thai and Western food, best with a companion.

• Elephant Jungle Sanctuary.

O Check out / book on their web site, same name, one of several locations in Thailand who are legitimate "rescue" organizations with about a dozen Elephants on the grounds, with staff interacting and educating guests about them, no show, no chains, but you can help wash them and throw mud around. Staff pick up at the condo, do the morning due to heat, cost includes a donation. No third party required.

• Picnic at Navy Beach (Sai Kaew Beach), Sattahip.

O About 40 minutes to the Navy town of Sattahip, we picked up BBQ chicken, salad and beer on the way, beautiful beach with rentals, food vendors, bathrooms, sand beach for swimming and sunning, and there was some shade also. I went on Thai Mother's Day by coincidence, I think I was the only Farang, but very welcome.

• Laern Chabang Port drive with seafood lunch.

O Driving toward Sriracha Town, the Port serving Bangkok with about 100 arrivals, 100 departures and 60 vessels in Port daily which are predominantly Container Ships holding up to 10,000 containers each. Driving around the commercial area is very busy, including a midsized refinery and several commercial 'seaport operations. ' Seaside restaurants, after 2:00 pm, in several scenic spots are available, nice fish and shrimp dining while watching ships coming and going. Real good for those who enjoy ships and maritime activity.

Money- is easy to calculate, easy to convert anywhere- change money at airport for the overall best rate- lowest level, exit 10- use elevators- signs for Train, but the overall difference from one Change Place to another is not that significant.

ATM machines are all over the place and easy to use but watch which ones you use, as some Thai Banks will put a "service charge" and a fee on their transactions, while others only impose a fee based on the amount purchased (220 fee /10,000 purchased) which can mean up to a 5% difference in their exchange rate so choose wisely if using ATMs- the color of the ATM machine identifies which Bank. And remember to say NO when prompted by the ATM to the rate the Bank offers, to avoid the additional service charge.

I like the Thai people, but those in Tourist areas don't smile as much as they should or as they are purported to, Land of Smiles. As elsewhere, some are good looking- many are plain, and hard-working individuals. Has the quality of ladies gone downhill over the years- I doubt it, but not all the ladies are great looking – it is a matter of prospective of who you are, what can you get where you live, how much will you pay to be with that individual- home or in Thailand.

I have personally found that there are ladies of all ages, sizes, shapes, and colors available. I found that the younger ladies have more silicone, more tattoos, more colored hair and make-up, and less sense, than more mature ladies.

Ladies can be found everywhere; I found the following:

Soi 6- the famous street of about 25 Brothels with similar business plans with lots of young low class, tattooed girls begging for customers from the front of the establishment closest to the street- this is not my style at all, so I just look.

LK Meto- an upcoming group of bars, clubs, Go Go's, massage shops, gentlemen's clubs, mostly Western customers, easy to be a customer, good vibe, some freelancers, service workers (associated with the establishment) are all available for rent, worth a visit.

Massage Shops- are located all over the area, many seem to have the same format, prices of menu items are posted, ladies vary from young to old. Some Extras seem to be available at many, discussed between the lady and customer. Having an "oily" massage can be a very enjoyable experience, akin to or in place of a Short Time visit.some with more intensity, at about the same overall cost (300 BT massage+ 1000 FS). I think next visit I will look at in-shop oily massages more seriously if I find ladies who are attractive sitting out front.. I am sure they will think I am a "handsome man".

Soapy Massage – I went one time; everybody should go once but maybe not here. There are several located in Central Pattaya which have the Fishbowl Style selection process, with a formatted routine in a room with a tub for a scrub, a tug, then FS, I think I was lucky from what I hear, I gave the floor manager 100 BT and he made a recommendation. Recollection that it was about 2500 BT. Marketed to Indians arriving in buses and vans.. Many smiles.

Tree Town- nearby grouping of upscale beer bars, seemed to be more service workers than customers but that may have been the time of night- may be more freelancers than elsewhere, worth a visit, this is an outdoor venue- so no A / see- that is why nice shorts, shoes, designer or golf type shirt is the nightly uniform throughout Pattaya.

Walking Street-about 90%+ of pre-covid experience, mostly Indian men with a representation of Westerners. Gogo's I went to only had Westerners, I spoke with the manager of one club who indicated that the Indian crowd does not spend well or at all, therefore they are not welcome, but there are numerous large Indian establishments which are jam packed.

Windmill Gogo- everything ever written is true about this Gogo, lots of girls, doing lots of things including naked shower, pussy dive, mostly all in good taste or taste good- the quality of the girls was high, however not as high as expected- Windmill did even have several "wide body girls" and some I would not be interested in, each to their own. Note draught beer- 80 Baht before 10:00 pm- not bad for the show which can be had just by going in the door, lady drinks 280 Baht I think (there is a sign posted on the wall).and now there is a second Windmill just across the way from the original.

Bamboo Bar near Walking street- open but not the same format of the past, it used to be the premiere location for finding a mature lady for the night- (hardly any business, could not find dancing here, few ladies).

Jomtien- Rhompo Complex- group of about 10 "beer bars" next to a car park which turns into a street food complex at night (very good). These bars seem to have some loyal customers (Aussie, European) low key, music, some singing, pool tables, more mature service staff and girls- good, relaxed atmosphere- bar fine was 300 Bt. Last I checked. Some Ladyboys mixed into the service staff not necessarily announced, so be aware.

Jomtien- Soi 3-9 Bars: multiple bars along these roads between Beach Road and Second Road, mixed within other businesses and small restaurants. Most have the same format of a few girls in the front near the street, encouraging customers to come in- to be entertained by the girls in conversation, to my knowledge all are available for bar fine, I expect at 300 with 1000-1200 Baht for the lady, most of the ladies are on the mature side of the spectrum. Beer cost of 65-70, Scotch about the same. A few ladyboys, but not many.

Jomtien- Thapphraya Rd (Soi O) (Second Road to Beach Road) this is the main road between Pattaya and the Beach in Jomtien. With about 20 bars and restaurants sometimes called restaurant row- several good bars with street view, service ladies to keep the drinks flowing- Country Road, Country Club, Escobar, Pool Bar, Sand Bar, to name a few which will have a variety of European customers, ladies, all with some music, live on occasion, lots of street food available. There is even a Gogo near the beach with a 'higher' end bar, worth a look but not to be compared to Walking Street. There are also approximately 10 restaurants mixed in along this route, various cuisine and price points, along with retail, and service shops.

Jomtien Complex- entry from this location, is an area nicely done of multiple massage (boy) shops, small bars, small, good restaurants, several hotels, a showroom, and multiple larger bars- all marketing to the Gay crowd- all very well done and in good taste- worth the walk thru. It has been my experience that the Gay crowd do not mix outside their crowd, have been cordial and highclass. No issues for me.

Gentlemen's Clubs- (Def: bars with closed fronts and a front door- some with security person at front) (Pattaya and Jomtien) there are probably at least a dozen++ of these which are primarily open 2-9 have ladies / freelancers and service workers, pool tables, some food, some have rooms, all that I heard or saw had 400 Bhat room fee, about 1000 BT girl fee all for onsite entertainment. Numerous in Soi Buakhao area, 3-4 in Jomtien, several in Pratamnak, others elsewhere with similar pricing I believe.

It has been remarked that some are very pushy by the ladies' others not. They may not be for everyone but worth a look, for some low-key entertainment- but some of these do get going with a lot of down and dirty as I understand- see what a Lady Drink will motivate 555.

Thai Friendly (internet website) - there are multiple ladies listed on Thai Friendly for which.

If a Lady has a "profile" (screen / listing) on Thai Friendly, I presume that they are Pay 4 Play, I would guess 90% are Pay 4 Play, if they are not, they will let you know quickly- don't be embarrassed or apologetic, just move on to the next.. It seems limitless.

I am a paid member and find it worth the investment and valued for the entertainment value alone. I monitored TF for a few ladies' prior to the trip and kept in touch with a select few prior to arrival. I tabulate the data I obtained and the candidates from TF and used some of it upon arrival.

The information retained from these profiles becomes dated very quickly- ladies come and go frequently, and ladies do not remember your messages on the whole, so over planning is not fruitful.

There are no guarantees of success, but some things I do: only look at pictures of smiling ladies, more attention to those who respond, "like or are interested in me", use the filter for age if desired- it cuts it down significantly. If you send a message and don't get an answer- wastebasket, don't follow-up, some ladies get 200 messages a day.

If you want to remember specific ladies, use the "notes" option on TF which has sorting capacity, that can be used in the future. The technique is to place a word selected by the user such as "red" in the notes section of a particular lady's profile. Afterwards, you may sort, and even print a list of those profiles which have all the common word- "red" or it could be "boobs", "ass", "blond" "massage", "interesting", "Jomtien", etc. I think it is quite helpful if you review multiple profiles. It is much better than the "favorites" option which Thai Friendly has.

Language can be a small challenge, but most do have basic English skills, enough, and they use translators. Most of these ladies don't keep a good calendar, so follow-ups to appointments are recommended, and don't schedule / plan more than a day ahead – I don't think the Thai mind plans too far ahead.

Chats and messages should be kept short and simple, do not use big words or abbreviations beyond ST, LT, BJ, DFK, etc. Don't use sarcasm, big words, or colloquial language, the translator machines and the ladies will not understand and can me misunderstood.

Many ladies are associated with Massage Shops somehow, so in many cases I would ask if they will give a massage at my condo- if yes, to me it says FS, therefore I would follow-up asking for "massage and short time" which usually got a good response and seemed to relieve the lady of complications with her employer. There may be a 200-300 BT fee for the shop to let her give the massage away from the shop, normal and to be expected.

Once a transaction is set-up, try to move any conversation regarding specifics and negotiations to Line ID- men, you must have Line ID also, it is free in the App Store. The Girls like it because it is free, it seems more confidential than the TF Website, there is no time limit on messages, and it is fast. You and the lady can send pictures back and forth, have call capability, and you can send a Google map of your location so the girl will know where to meet you.

If the lady does not go to Line, you can also just create and complete the session details on Thai Friendly, but maybe without the bells and whistles of the internet.

As I stayed in a Condo, there was no front desk or security or check-in, or holding ID cards, once I had an appointment with the lady, I would send a map and address of my condo. I asked that they Line Text me upon arrival and I would then provide the floor and room number and they would come directly to my room, easy.

I found that the age indicated on the TF profile was generally out of date by 2 years (less) and most ladies reduced their age several years as well. The average age of the ladies I engaged was 39 years old, the few issues I had in response were from ladies under 30, no call backs, etc. I found the difference between a young hardbody and a more mature 30 something MILF was negligible physically and much more positive for the session, compared to a session with a 30-year-old Western lady, Thai ladies seem to hold their age well, YMMV.

Pictures used by the ladies are usually their best, filtered, out of date, photo shopped, and some of the ladies don't look a lot like their pictures. I had no issues caused by this; it is just a norm which needs to be understood.

I repeated with about 1/4 of my TF Ladies, which certainly provided a more GFE session on the 2nd and 3rd session and the knowledge that I was staying for a month may have provided some motivation to the Lady. I don't recommend going more than 3 sessions in repeat- some get too possessive.

I would session many times in late afternoon and afterwards numerous ladies and I would go drinking, dinner, clubs, and walks to look at the sunset. Like a date after the session some included: Thai BBQ, Thai Seafood BBQ, local restaurants and hotels, these can be enjoyable and inexpensive in the long run, many which lead to a good night session at the condo.

I also had a number of sessions early in the morning inviting the lady to have a cup of tea with me on my balcony looking at Ko Larn and the nearby islands, sometimes with breakfast following, "Tea and Me" was a great way for me to start the day- I am an early riser and probably have more energy in the morning.

I stayed in a Condo in Jomtien (View Taly 5 C) which is a 25 ish year-old high-rise building, which I selected due to location etc. I have stayed in a hotel in the area previously and enjoyed it, but the size, kitchen, amenities, and price all made it work for me very well. The girls really liked the condo view of the beach all the way to Siracha 20 miles away.

These condos are independently owned and leased by Agents who generally have small offices in the Condo building. I recommend that an office of the Condo Agent be within the Condo Building, usually on the arcade level, for "communications issues".

Jomtien vs. Pattaya- I stayed in Jomtien because of the smaller village feeling that it has. It is quieter, which is a plus and a negative, with possibly fewer tour groups, less traffic, a better beach, more local restaurants, fewer tattoos, etc. Jomtien is contiguous to Pattaya, so it is very close to Walking Street and not far from LK Metro- all on the Baht Bus route. I also think Jomtien is more Western than Pattaya and it is more mature in visitors as well.

Cannabis: new this year are approximately 6,000 (per media) Cannabis vendors throughout Thailand. Their presence is everywhere in the Tourist areas with small booths outside shops, Cannabis Bars, Cannabis Bakeries, Cannabis Clubs all selling cannabis from jars filled with buds of multiple strains and potencies. Pricing is by the Gram: 100 Baht to 500 Baht / gram. I found most vendors started at 200/ gram minimum. I found a shop off the beaten path which had 100/ gram Urban Haze sativa which was very moist (had to light a joint a lot) which I think was very, very good compared to what I generally use. I also tried some of the higher priced stuff and found the difference to be marginal from what I was buying, therefore I do believe there is definitely a "tourist" price for Cannabis.. Shop accordingly, and from a Shop Owner- negotiations can begin at the 10 gram+ quantity, YMMV.

Overall, for all of the Cannabis vendors available, I found very little activity / interest from either Thais or Visitors. There seem to be no interest from any of the ladies who visited my condo, I offered most of the time.. And now the new Government is talking about restricting Cannabis down to medical use only, after a year of no restrictions.. Only in Thailand.

Pricing: I did not think the prices have changed much from 2022 when I last visited. I would say I was conservative in my spending, but nowhere near a Cheap Charlie, the following summarizes some of my expenses:

30 Days on the Ground, August 3- September 2- actual expenses rounded.

Condo 25,000 Baht monthly (utilities, maintenance, tips, internet- nicely furnished, secure, on the beach).

Transportation 4800 Baht- includes Taxi RT to Airport.

BKK Taxi is now about 1400 Baht with meet and greet.

(Be sure to obtain the Bolt App for rideshare / Uber style transportation which is very reasonable and reliable).

Food 22,000 Baht- American Breakfast daily, nice dinner, street food lunch, snacks, about 8 dinner dates included, no in condo cooking!

Beverage 9400 Baht- mostly beer at 65-75/ beer.

Misc. 4300 Baht- Laundry, meds, gifts, foot massage.

Marijuana 4300 Baht.

Touring 20,000 Baht- transportation, tickets, food, beverage, English speaking non-certified guide, 6 adventures.

Entertainment: 51,000 Baht- 41 sessions, 25 different ladies.

1,500 Bhat highest session cost, 1,000 Baht many sessions, I did not negotiate unless there was a silly "ask", the small amount which negotiation could yield was not material, therefore a "win" for the lady when I paid what she asked.

I would not pay more than 1,500 except in the case of taxi transportation cost from NaKluea.

Some Ladies are offering discounts and specials based on when their rent is due or other economic metric, such as:

-ST 1200 or 3 hrs. /2 shots 1500.

-ST 1000 – if 2 sessions.

-LT 1500, if late starting.

-Massage and Short Time, 1,200.

-ST 1500,2 shots.

-ST 1500, Boom Boom, Breakfast, Boom Boom.

Once a Lady had agreed to a session price, I tried not to speak about cost again. For repeats and most sessions, I would prepare the cash with a tip, leave it in plain sight, and place it on their purse while they were in the bathroom after the session.

I have not provided personal experiences, commented on individual ladies, or do reviews as I believe each individual has their own impression and view of the Lady they are with and the experience they are having- I may agree or disagree and it is my business what I am doing if it does not hurt others.

I hope the information I have shared will be of use to future travelers and update others on what is happening in Pattaya / Jomtien, these are my experiences from "on the ground" within the past 30 days. As always, your experiences may vary.

In his post he mentioned that the girl who was sponsored by the Brit went home which means that she was unavailable for boots on the ground. Sending them money from abroad lessens the availability for farangs in Patts.

I have tons and tons of photos and video of girls and customers in Soi 6, gogo bars, beer bars, and G clubs. No owner or girl has ever said don't video to me. Some girls do turn away so I try not to video them. I usually let the girls video inside a gogo bar. A customer confronted me once thinking I was shooting him. Showed him the video and he was cool with it. It's fine to do it. It's not fine to post it on Social Media.

October is a transitional month in Pattaya. It's still quiet, especially at the beginning of the month, and the ramp up of customers is imperceptable. So, this is the time when some marginal ladies give up and go home, and not so many new ladies arrive.

However, this is the month where more "special customers" arrive, the guys who barfined a lady last year, and are now coming back specifically to barfine her again (the famous "customer before".

The "Made in Thailand" complex is now open again, pretty much same as before it was torn down. It's right next to TreeTown, a massive complex of open bars.

Next month is when the numbers really ramp up, so October is a good time to come to Pattaya.

Oops. A bargirl I know got sponsored by a Brit, so she went home, maybe 6 months ago.

Once you have been in Pattaya long enough it kind of hardens you because you realize the obsession Thai women have with money, perhaps it's women in general, but it's clear with Thai women. The good thing about that realization though is you know the game and you play it accordingly. Money for boom boom and that's it.

I would say even worse than the remote sponsor (guy living and sending money from his country) is the guy who comes here and gets into a serious live in relationship with the first used up bar girl he meets. That is something you see play out on the regular and I find it baffling.

I have TF ladies I converse with, whom I have never met yet, blatantly ask me to send them money LOL. These ladies have no shame, treat them as such.

Today, he realized the obvious: she only loves him for his money (he posted on his FB and tagged her).

Bottom line: in Thailand, if a lady loves a man, she gives *him* money, otherwise, he's just a customer. It doesn't matter if he is Thai or a foreigner, it doesn't matter if she is having babies with her, the money is how she shows her love for her man. If she is taking money, she doesn't love him (here, I am not counting money for household expenses, I am talking about salary).

So the latest vlogs from the "Candyman", he really only hits a couple bars now and buys drinks for the girls that his few followers want to see in his vlogs. His first videos were good because he was all over the Soi. Now it's 30 minutes of brace faced "Moon" begging for liquor shots. If a farang tried his tactics of filming inside the bar, security would drag the farang out the back door and be beaten to a pulp.

That's the only thing he is left with.

Now he does it more by friendship with the girls than anything else. He's been there for so long, too hard to find pretty newcomers so he finish up with the usual girls that are camera friendly.

Example: the girls from Butterfly or Aom One Stop, they are nowhere near pretties but he always flood them with tequila shots.

"FIRE" is the name of the bar and it is at the top of Soi 6 close to 2nd Road. "FIRED UP" is the name of their make-shift GC which is in the upstairs portion of the bar. From my understanding, "FIRED UP" is not an everyday thing (yet); it only operates a few nights a week and you must buy a ticket in advance to attend. I believe attendance is limited to 9 gents at a time right now and the ladies are offering much more personalized attention.

Fire is the name of the bar on the ground level and Fired Up is the gentlemen's club upstairs on the first floor.

Fired Up just opened a month ago and is evolving, the whole floor has been remodelled. It started as a Friday night event for three hours. Tickets are priced to include a starting rack of LD's for a girl and a drink for the customer. Then they started selling tickets for Saturdays and recently it's open daily before the bars get busy but Friday and Saturday are still ticket only days, I believe the price is 900 THB and I hear that it does get raunchy.

The owners plan is to get more staff to fill both venues as right now some girls start early at Fired Up and then when Soi 6 gets busy they move to the bar. They are looking for the kind of girls that work in Kink or other GC's and also regular bar girls to work where they are best suited.

I'm looking forward to trying it out.

First night back in Pattaya last night, surprised how quiet it is.
