Many of the Expat complainers are "all in" on their chosen location had have tied up all their resources there. Allowing you to criticize this location would make it possible that they made a mistake and that just can't be allowed as there are no other options available to them.

I had a great time in Pattaya back in May. Of course anyone else's experiences may vary. But, I had such a good time in Pattaya and met a number of attractive, let's get it on, girls the last time, that I have doubled the amount of time I am going to spend there when I return. Palace, mentioned recently in the BKK thread, was ok, but I really liked a couple of other Go Go's even more. In fact, the Walking Street Go Go I liked best; I rate the #1 Go Go in Thailand at the present moment. It really rocked! It had great girls and a really friendly vibe. I believe I mentioned the bar in my trip report that I posted at the time. Plus, I unexpectedly found afternoon bliss on Soi 6 and on Soi Full Love Inn, of all places. So, I can't wait to return.

How many days in a row are they doing this? I've never been sent these pictures but some of them "show" pictures of themselves doing some stuff in the farm on their facebooks. Next thing I see is two days later they are back in Bangkok or Pattaya selling their asses again. You're correct that they like Pattaya firstly for the money and it's exactly what I've been saying from the beginning but most of them still love the place.

I've met all kind of girls over there but not remember a single one that tells me she came back from a hard period of work in her hometown. The only thing they say is that they took a rest from Pattaya and went in their hometown. And it's verified by pictures on their facebook or by the 2-3 kilos they already took after 10 days there.

Even girls that have money and don't need to go there to make bucks are attracted by that place but these girls don't stay there for the living.

There are some guys on this forum who, because of a couple bad lays, get testy and say negative things about the girls and their environs. I hope you are not one of them. A monger will always get bad lays, try to focus on the good ones and you may see things differently.

What the duck? My experience is totally opposite of what you are describing. Most of the girls I know that are from farms, are saving up to buy their own damn farm to work on. They go home and send me pictures of them getting up at 5 am and working with crops and shit and tapping rubber trees with their farm clothes on. They see Pattaya as a place to go get money to make the purchases they need to settle down back where they came from.

I've described both Patts and Angeles as shitholes but shitholes with character that need to be experienced and enjoyed at least once and replies came from everywhere defending their chosen city. Most of these girls come from farming areas where food is produced, life is honest, crime free and simple and the air is clean. Yes there is some poverty there and the girls desire the luxuries that they see on tv and head for Pattaya but I would not do like the Donald and call their hometowns shitholes.

Some of them are proud to show pictures of their family back home and we can clearly see the environment they come from. You cannot say it's "clean" unless for few girls that are successful in Pattaya for years and send back all their money to the family.

For all the others I've seen only houses surrounded by garbage (even though the houses are clean on the inside, the surroundings are certainly not clean).

Once you see this it's not difficult to understand why most of them try to make as much money as they can in Pattaya before going back there, so the narrative of "Pattaya is not good, only bar bar bar" doesn't sound quite right.

Bars (and the customers that frequently go in these bars) are the only thing they come in Pattaya for.

I don't know if its applicable in LOS but I know several bars in the PI where if the girl does not meet a minimum quota for BFs for the month / fortnight she loses everything. And I do mean EVERYTHING: no drink commissions, no salary, no nothin'. Consequently, in low season you can see girls at the end of the month absolutely desperate to get a BF. Essentially they will agree to any request, tip free, just pay their barfine so that they don't loose all income for the month.

After banging a Soi 6 regular, she surprised me by asking how many boom booms I have every week. So I said 2 to 3 per week. Then I thought, why not ask her how many boom booms she does every week.

23 was the answer. Wow, that is around 90 fucks per month. At 1000 baht per fuck that is $3 k USD per month. Not a bad income for a thai chick.

Just back from a 2 night stint in Patters. Haven't been there in about 8 or 9 month and man, the place keeps changing. Last time I was on 6 there were only a handful of Asian customers, now seems like 40% or more. Also the vast majority of gals are overweight. Very hard to find a looker as well. Lots of gals. But I was not impressed.

Walking St was well, the demographics keep swinging. And not in a directions that I find appealing.

Palace had by far the most amazing gals in Pattaya. Have to say, best collection of GoGo gals I've seen in my 20 years in Thailand. Place was packed and we were the only two western guys in the place. Lots of very young Asian punters. Makes me happy to see young guys out in the P4 P scene. Shame that most young western guys are too PC, scared, and whipped to be out whoring.

I used to find Pattaya charmingly sleazy. Now, I just don't find it appealing.

Most of these girls love Pattaya. Pattaya means big money to them.

Have a look at the shithole they are coming from and you'll understand why they are fascinated by that place.

Maybe she is not doing as much money as she would like and that's what she doesn't like, she's not getting enough customers because there's too much competition in soi 6. In the end it's just some mathematics that matters for her, she didn't came there to have a relationship in the first place.

If given the opportunity to stay or going back, almost all of them would stay unless they've made some big bucks and plan to come back later.

I have rarely seen anyone with less understanding of the motives of these girls. The do not love Pattaya. They see Pattaya as a means to getting money for their families and looking after their kids. The places they come from are not "shitholes" and this term is highly offensive. Rural, simple life is not a "shithole", but rather is what a lot of people, not just these girls, yearn for.
