Nice report about paying only 1500 b for long term to noon and then telling her it's 1200 next time. (See report down below).

When I first came to Thailand several years ago an old hand ex-pat told me once you set the price with a girl then you are locked into that price. Shortly thereafter I met a girl in BKK who had been slaving in a factory. I paid her 1800 for LT. The next time though I only gave her 1200 and she gladly accepted without a peep of protest. So much for my friends expertise.

I will be in BKK this winter so it will be interesting to see what the prevailing terms are.

We call it Soi Excite after Excite G Club which is down a ways on that street.

I am pretty sure that it is called Soi Excyte, which is named after the nightclub which existed on that large open area of ground further down and closer to 3rd Road. It is now torn down.

I have got the name wrong as it is not next to Amon but 50 yards away. On entering Soi pothole from Soi Bukaow walk 100 feet as far as Triangle bar, take the road to the left (I don't know that road's names from any other features) and continue to the first massage on the left, Janet Massage.

Thanks I think the place might be called Jonart massage? There is two Soi, the far left it runs around back to Soi Buakhao the other is as BB noted Soi Excite.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge the American military. I've been here long enough which will never make me an expert but there are a lot of people overpaying which is why this subject continues to rare it head. All you got to do is go back as far as you like and there will be a conversation regarding overpaying.

I've seen a lot of people from all over the world overpay even on Soi 6, massage parlor, Gentlemen's clubs. Just the other night I was at one of the popular GoGo ventures by many Asians I was stuck between some Koreans and guys from New Zealand? One guy was talking Rugby about the black? Being an old Asian myself I fitted in nicely thinking I had no idea what was being said. In the end, one of the guys BF a girl, this girl I have seen many times rarely gets BF but when you get a taker for 5000 baht ST. When the girl went to change he was paying the tab to the mamasan the look on his face was priceless he was like a little kid in a candy store. Who was I to tell him you just overpaid by 2000 baht.

Even though I live here no matter how long or how much you do it sooner or later you pay your dues that means you overpay or you get a dud? Don't forget Asians always get bashed for overpaying and now I see more and more Indians in clubs overpaying so they are accepted?

Overpaying is part of the game sadly.

It may be the case that a Soi 6 girl simply doesn't like your look but it's likely because this girl has seen you walk up and down Soi 6 many times before and you never paid attention to her. She just figures why should she waste her time on you any more. This really becomes the case if you are an ex-pat or frequent visitor or simply just a guy who walked up and down Soi 6 8 times already on a given day.

There is a girl on Soi 6 who I liked but not only did she not give me eye contact she used to give me dirty looks. I found her attractive so I said F it I'm going to talk to her anyways. She told me I had rejected her for a drink last year so hates me now. I used to go with her friend and ignored her. TBH I don't recall this but I instantly bought her a drink and all is well again.

So I had this chick on my Line that was my cup of tea. She had pictures of herself in fancy condos and out shopping for expensive fashionable clothes. Dude. Your story is exactly the same as mine down to the 5 baht arguement with the driver. I think it used to be 5 baht then went up to 10 baht and I didn't know or something. Or maybe it was my mistake of thinking it was 5 baht before. I have just recently started doing shit like buying drinks for chicks, and not as some sort of interview ritual, but only because I feel like doing it (and maybe because I have more money these days). But unlike other guys that sometimes post that you need to be free with your money in the gogos and shit, I still flaunt my coveted name of Mr. Cheap Charlie.

The chick that is here now (next report on her), last night said, but how you can go to Starbucks if you are a Cheap Charlie. I thought quick and said I only went there because my friends paid.

Then she went on to say how chocolate is only 40 and 50 baht at other stands versus Starbucks. I said WHAT! That is too damn expensive. The lady I go to up the street only charges 25 baht for a bladder burster.
