Culturally, Indonesia and Thailand are worlds apart. If you have a basic knowledge of the local language you will certainly find quality girls at prices equal to or cheaper than Thai girls, IMHO.

I think Pattaya is cheaper overall for hotel and mongering ,yes I will say Jarkata is cheaper than Bangkok ,Jarkata is a big city so price will be higher than smaller city in Indo like Badung or Batam island .

I were in Indonesia, but about 10 to 15 years ago. At that time, the girls in the Clubs asked for 100$ and at that time, Thailand was cheaper. But, there were local so called hunting girls and street working girls, whose were cheaper.
The girls were good performer and quite nice. Good fun indeed, but it was dirty in Indonesia, I had often problems with stomach, when I eat in local restaurants, so I used to go to Fast Food Restaurants. Girls were also not as clean as Thais and Hotels were expensive in regard to Thailand.
So, all together Indonesia was nice, since I made a sightseeing trip from Jakarta, Jogjakarta, Surabaya, Mount Bromo to Bali. People were very friendly and girls imho more pretty than in Thailand.
Though if I count the whole package, in regards of price for Hotel, quality of Food, traffic, availability of girls, etc I prefer Thailand.

My wife and I just got back from our first trip to Thailand. While in Pattaya, we picked up a 22 year old stunner in Baccara. She asked for 3000 for LT at first. When I asked for the ST rate, she said 2000. I didn't blink or try to get her to lower her price. We took her to our hotel and were treated to an amazing gfe. It was truly one of the great bargains of my life. All we see is the outside packaging, and when we order from an add sometimes we don't even see that. I'm sure most of us have paid for a Mercedes and found out later that it had a Fiat engine and vice versa. This game is played with so many unknowns. There should be some type of lemon law.

(2) In Jakarta stay at Sparks Hotel (interesting night activities at the hotel) which will put you squarely in the action areas near Kota with Lokasari Plaza located diagonally opposite the hotel. If you are bored there, venture (by taxi which is cheap) to ManggaDua area or if you like the sleazy setting head to Jalan Pelatehan (spelling?) where clubs like Top Gun, etc are located.

Yes I could do that. Price would be 3750 one way without tax. So, around 10000 THB to come to Jakarta. A extended Visa will cost me about 1000 THB at Thai Immigration in BKK were I am now.
Thailand I know very well, so I can avoide mistakes. In Indonesia I would most likely learn it the hard way.
On the other hand side the Indo girls might be more beautiful and a different touch, also it's always nice to see something new.
Though Thailand is at the moment not so bad. It might be true, on the long run, the sex paradise Thailand might lose attraction, because of some sucker who think they need to overpay to compensate their short commings, or because the overall economic values in Thailand reduce supply on available pretty girls. But, at the moment I have a great time. Enough pretty girls available (at least in Bangkok were I am now) and if you play your cards right even to acceptable costs.
So, I guess I will stay in LOS and might go at my next Holiday in Autumn to Indonesia.

Most likely true, but that isn't all. First of all there are less supply, since the poverty is lower and the population increase is low now in Thailand. There are some foreign girls at least in Bangkok (middle eastern and Russian cater mostly the Indian and Arab clientel), than African girls. Also, from other Asian countries, for example reasently I talked with two Philippine girls whose work now in Bankok. But, also true many more Thai girls work abroad than foreign girls work in Thailand.
Thecost of living in Bangkok and Pattaya is high, so the prices for p4p do also rise. The Thai currency is strong against European and US currency as in many Asian countries now. And last but not least Punter pay serious cash for pretty girls, so why should they go for small money?
I can have cheaper P4P in my Home Town Frankfurt, even with prettier girls. I still spend my hollyday in Thailand, but it was not like before a easy decision. I had plans just to stay a few days in Thailand and than head to Jakarta. But, I got a little lazy, is still funny in the clubs and I know already some pretty freelancer who provide decent service for normal prices. So, I have doubt, that I will buy a ticket to Jakarta. It's most likely alot of hazzle to find the right hotel and to get familar with the situation there.
But, that means also I have to extent my Visa, since my Hollyday is longer than 30 days.
Or can a someone give good advice about the best airline to Jakarta, decent, gf and not too expensive Hotel in the center of the action in Jakarta?
