Hello everyone,

Just wish to share my first time experience in Pattaya.

I RTFF quite a bit to have a general idea about Pattaya and it's nightlife. I was also helped by reading a few beautiful blogs by some knowledgeable men.

So I landed in BKK airport in the early morning. After clearing immigration, which took a lot of time, I went a bought a DTAC sim card (299 plan). It served me well for my whole trip. 100 call credits and 2.5 GB 4 g data.

Next I went to basement to the Superrich money exchange. They really gave a good deal.

I had already booked my Bus (Bell Bus Service). It is a bit difficult to find as the lady had a tiny signboard. Anyways, at 8 AM the bus started and off we went to Pattaya. It's better to take a seat on rifht side as the sun bears down on you on the left side.

The ride was smooth and we reached Pattaya in 1.5 hours. From their office, they took us in a minivan and dropped one by one at our respective hotels.

As it was too early, my room wasn't ready. So I freshed up and wondered out after depositing the luggage.

5 minutes walk took me to the beach. Just to pass some time, I took a Jet ski ride and Parasailing. It was a nice adventure.

After that, I went to Sabai Dee Soapy massage. 15 minutes walk.

Around 10 girls were there. Discussing with the Mamasan, took one girl. 2500 all inclusive.

She took me to a room upstairs. Bed, sofa, air mattress and bathtub. She was 25 yr old. Cute. Good assets.

First the cleaning up in bathtub. Then a nice soapy in Mattress. Post that a shower together and then sex in the bed.

A nice experience. But the whole thing looked a bit rehearsed. Still I would recommend this a one time unique experience.

Next had some food in a nearby restaurant. Came back to hotel. And took some rest in my hotel to recharge my batteries for the evening.

Just to update the board I took a walk through Soi Post Office (13/2) around 5 pm. I actually saw 2 decent younger girls there. Both were calling for me but I didn't talk to either one.

Why not? Maybe those girls would have quoted you a good price.

Saw a girl I liked at Wicked but she was busy being molested by a Farang.

It's seems many farangs have fun to molested the girls in the bars, drinks and play game, rather than go upstair with her and have ST.

Headaches and fever along with body aches could be a sign of dengue.

Yes, I had these symptoms when I took dengue fever in Patong back in December 2010. I spent 5/6 days in the hospital.

Yeah I don't have body aches or joint pain. Or nausea or vomiting or diahrea. But the internet states any 2 off the list can mean dengue fever. But really only symptoms I have is cold symptoms. Except for the new headache twist that started yesterday evening. Which could be from too much vit see. Thanks for the help.

I just thought the instant headache after both sessions might of been something someone else experienced. It was very unusual! Nothing like I ever experienced. The first headache lasted through the night without meds and wasn't gone for 3 hours before I pushed the limits the 2nd time. So maybe I didn't give it time to go away. The internet shows it's a long process for dengue fever. Nothing a quick visit in hospital is going to fix. Got to constantly monitor blood and something else. Thanks again.

What you seem to have is something I just had last year. I normally don't get headache at all and even when I do I try not to take any and just bare it out but if I do I take acetaminophen which I bring from the States. The one thing that goes with Dengue is you will have lots of pressure on your eyeballs, just blinking it hurts. I went to International hospital Soi 4, you can find out in 20 minutes if you think you have it, cost, total was 1900 baht. Even though I have the eye pressure it came up negative.

Last year, and I rarely get really sick here but both times I realized I got sick right after going to my regular Thai massage place, which many of the ladies were wearing mask including the one who gave me the massage, it also didn't help I was located in front of the A / see.

What is the safest place to monger.

Safety should not be much of a concern in Pattaya if you stick to all the tourist hot spots that are reported on ISG.

I was quoted with a ridiculous amount too at massage shops in soi 13/2 a couple of times, this has happened some times ago. In soi 13/2 have Little Hole Bar, is a short time bar with crappy rooms and the prices are equal to soi6.

Thatguy, if you really have Dengue Fever you should be seeking help from a medical professional and not listening to a bunch of perverts on a Sex board. 2 pages of medical discussion, let's get back to reviews guys or at least move the discussion to General Reports or The Thailand Chat thread no one uses for non hobby reports.

Well I got some amoxicillin and a cough suppressant. I also took the advice of Dr sxxxx from pm. Grabbed some vit see. I was feeling good enough yesterday I headed to honey 2 and immediately after the pop I get a crazy bad headache. I ended up coming to hotel and calling it a night. Headache would be classed as a migraine. I managed to get through the night and woke up feeling great. Headed out to golf club and got some breakfast with Oj. Stopped by lady on road and got some more OJ. Ah. It's finally over I thought. Stopped by a oily massage and again right after the pop a intense headache immediately after. Also very sweaty hot. Oily had no air so idk. So upon research I seen too much vit see can cause headaches. I was doing 2 k MG as recommended by Dr sxxx. I have quit it and went to nothing but the amox. Luckily lady at pharmacy gave me some fast acting meds that knocked it out quick. But it had me thinking. Too much vit see. Or is this something along the lines of Dengue or Malaria? I do have travel insurance. Maybe a hospital trip is in order. I did just get back from hua hin which had lots of mosquitoes and I have some bites. Anyone have experience with these two diseases? The two headaches right after pops seems it should be telling. Maybe not. I feel great while in room. Kind of want to go after lady I missed at what's up few nights ago. Not sure how long a visit to hospital would even last. This is my last night unless I skip BKK fun. Recommendations?

Edit: Vitamin C... Phone keeps changing it to vitamin see. But when I say immediate headaches... It's instantaneous after pop... Anyone have dengue or Malaria?

It won't be malaria (which I have had). The strain that I had had a 48 hour lifecycle in the blood, so every 2 days in the evening I would have a severe fever for a few hrs. Then the next day no fever. I don't recall any cough, phlegm, runny nose etc. Just fever, and headache.

You probably have some sort of viral strain of the common cold or of the flu in which case your body will be the only thing that will cure it. If it persists for several weeks then it is probably bacterial rather than viral, and so you may need antibiotics.

BTW it is my opinion that if you are virally sick then you should avoid contact with people as it is likely that you will pass it on to them as you will be contagious for one week approximately.

As I mentioned. Good luck finding her and barfining her. She makes her 10,000 baht salary in just 2 days. That means she probably has a sponsor or two. Doesn't go with customers often. And is picky on who she goes with. She comes and goes to work as she pleases. So really don't knock on her just because inability to get her. Just say the girl is out of your league.

Come on, Sapphire is a Farang Bar. It should be easy for Westerners to get May to go if you are a Westerner, right? I said she is one of the hottest girls on Walking Street, period. Those who have been lucky enough to experience her in bed can count your blessings. I know and hang. Out with about 20 regular punters from the USA. They all have her at the top of their list at Sapphire and top 3 for Walking Street. I'm happy to have banged her while others are playing catch up just to find her. Took a few months and some serious game playing, but I won and didn't overpay (except 8 drinks, 1500 barfine, and 3000 for the girl). She was excellent in bed!

Asian men want girls who look like Kpop, Jpop, or JAV models ie. Those with nose jobs and cutesy like at Baccara. They aren't easy to find outside a gogo bar or a Thai bar off the beaten track imo. Farang prefer the traditional Thai look like at Windmill, Sapphire, iBar, and the LK Metro bars. Unfortunately, I have the tastes of Japanese / Korean. Wish it were different.

We are brothers. I would pay a few 10 Kbaht to have a Rin Momaka. OMG.

I am an experienced monger who has been with many, many hookers and I would not touch a single hooker from beach road no matter if she looked like some really attractive celebrity that you like. There are ample ladies around Pattaya who do not carry the same risks. If any decent young or old chaps are reading this. Save yourself the potential disaster and get girls from reputable venues. It is only a few bucks, which is nothing in the scheme of things.

Don't automatically eliminate all BR girls. I met one back in 2016 who was quite sophisticated and well into middle class. She had great English, was very clean, well dressed and well mannered. I took her to lunch and had a delightful time with her. She claimed that she needed fast cash to fund a medical procedure for her son, and was in town for the weekend to get that cash. She was very pretty and appreciative of my donation. Did she really have a sick kid? Beats me, but she was not what we would consider a typical BR girl. But, yeah, on average, BR girls should probably be avoided, but every once in a while you find a girl who is there needing emergency cash and they will give a near GFE, as that is all they know how to give.

If you have gone with May from Sapphire. Consider yourself lucky because she's probably one of the hottest girls in Pattaya. Sapphire is mainly a Farang bar. She rarely works because she makes her quota of 45 drinks in 2 days.

Forgive me due to this being way off topic but couldn't really find a good answer elsewhere on internet. Needing some FAST relief from a cold that's kicking my arse and slowly getting worse. What would be the best plan? Just go straight to pharmacy or would going to a clinic be the better route? I realize some pharmacies no good and know of the good ones with good meds. Just don't know if going to clinic would be a waste of valuable time if they just going to send you to pharmacy.

The cigarette smoke is what kills me. I usually carry Tylenol Cold and Flu (night and day pack) and sucrets extra strength for the cough and sore throat.

That usually keeps me going.
