Thank you all for helping me by sharing your knowledge. I will definitely keep in mind all your tips while exploring Thailand and I will try to make most of with what I can afford to loose there. And it will be a great pleasure for me if some fellow monger would like to join me for a day or two for exploring. I will be in Pattaya from 7-9 February and in Bangkok from 10-12 . I am very wary about being ripped-off for anything in Thailand, so I am wondering if the quotes above 300 baht are designed to rip-off unsuspecting punters? Or are there in fact different price levels for rooms between the separate bars?

It's already some years that some bars raise their room price to 350 and with the new year all Nightwish Group Bars raise their room price to 400 baht.

Given the ST rates at 1000 plus a BF and a few drinks, it is just about for one girl a day. Even in a MP in soi chaiyapoon.

Who seeks finds, he can have ST with less than 1000 in beach road. In soi chaiyapoon is normal to pay 1000 all in for ST.

Due to the woeful level of talent on Beach Rd I have started to progress to Soi 6. However I am somewhat confused about the room pricing which seems to vary from place to place even though the price for a chick seems to be constant at 1000 baht.

Anyway he will be fine with soi 6, beach road, Thaifriendly, soi honey, soi chaiyapoon, etc. He could also shag 2 girls a day.

Good point. But you have to be clear. In every town, in every city in every country I have been to, some people think that bars / clubs / gogo bars / strip clubs (that don't have a cover charge) are happy with customers who come in and sit down for 2 - 6 hours and just order one drink.

A regular customer is in a different category. Random guys (no matter their race, religion or color) who wander into a bar and don't' buy a drink an hour or barfine a girl are a waste of time and resources for the bar. Unfortunately, Indians have the stereo type of being cheap, so Rocky is going to have to deal with that issue. We all know that there are many girls who have tiered pricing structure, and many of us know that the girls will typically quote Indian guys higher prices. Girls also quote older guys, fat guys, ugly guys higher prices. It is what it is.

You are 100% correct that Rocky can easily have a great time on a $2 k budget for girls. But again, you have to be clear. If Rocky wants 20 year old who are 8/10+, that budget is not going to work. If Rocky goes to Gogo clubs and wants to barfine a girl, that budget is not going to work (if he wants to.

Have a different girl each night). Etc. Etc.

Devils Den was still on my to-do list, so I went over to try it out. About 7 girls to choose from on the early evening. As always: pictures on their website www.devilsdenthailand.com look better than the original. I selected Som and let her choose the third person.

The whole procedure started with the ritual showercleaning and then on the bed with mirrors on the walls and ceiling, so you can watch yourself from multiple perspectives. The girls were friendly and pleasing, but somewhat mechanical like in the soapies. BBBJ from both and intercourse with both of them, changing condoms in between. I finished with BBBJ.

This is the problem. You said you recognize that Indians have a bad reputation and want to find a solution, but then you are going to perpetuate the perception in LOS that Indians are cheap.

How are you going to go to the clubs and not drink? How are you going to get girls if you don't offer to buy them a drink at the bar? (Separate issue being you will be kicked out of the GoGos that actually let you in for not buying drinks) 10 k is honestly unrealistic if you want to monger every day you are there. You could maybe get away with 2-3ST girls and the rest of the days is just walking around. But then what is the point of going?

My recommendation is to not go until you have a more realistic budget, but since it seems like the trip is happening in a few days you probably have to hit up Beach Road or one of the Soi 6 bars (which will make you buy drinks). Soapies are likely to wreck your budget and clubs are simply out of the question.

8-10 K per day is a good enough budget for food+drinks and mongering in Pattaya. Maybe not enough in Bangkok. You can definitely have 2 STs + 1 LT in that budget in Pattaya. Banging 3 girls a day is a decent average for a mongering trip of a few days.

But sure, if someone is on a very tight budget, like our Indian friend Rocky2300, it is optional to to skip any drinks and go directly upstairs to the room. Still I would recommend to pay for that time to sit with a girl for a while, before taking her upstairs.

Usually you can sit there and dick around with them all day without buying them a drink. They really don't have shit else to do (if it is not a really busy place - and if it is, then she is going to be gone right after the drink is finished anyway).

The times that I do buy a chick a drink, I do it after she has been sitting with me screwing around for a while. That way I know whether she is there because "she wants to" and not because I used a "carrot on a stick" by buying the drink for her. In other words, I use drinks as a reward instead of a preward. I don't want to waste my money (as little as it may be) on someone I might be rejecting.

Haven, my comment was based on my own experiences in gogo bars, FKK clubs, and many strip clubs around the world so my sample size is likely fairly large. I know what I see on how girls at specific bars perceive me. It's most obviously noticed in FKK clubs. In Pattaya, there are still many gogo bars where I have never bought a lady drink for anyone. In those bars, I do not get tons of smiles from girls who recognize me like I would in a gogo bar where they know I may buy a random girl an occasional lady drink.

Maybe I will perform my own scientific studies when some of my friends come to town. Will hit the same gogo bars on consecutive multiple nights and see if the person buying a lady drink for a different girl each night gets more attention than the guy who never buys drinks.

I agree. I would rather dish out a bit of cash and get a lady drink to "interview" the girl first. Last week, I rejected a decent looking girl who grabbed me to sit with her at Ruby Bar. She was such a dud and failed her interview so bad that I left her before 1/3 of her drink was even finished. Imagine if I went to a room with her? I likely wouldn't have made it through our shower together. Walked by her again yesterday afternoon and she gave me a dirty look!

My recommendation for Soi 6 still stands but you won't be able to take any girls long time from Soi 6 but you can afford a few short times there.

You say that you don't drink but you are at least expected to get something, like a water, in a bar. That will be around 60 Baht and say that a lady drink is 160 so it comes to 220 Baht. 300 - 350 for the room plus 1000 for the girl. Around 1600 Baht for taking a girl there short time.
