Why do you say that? Because you are paying more for bar girls? You are paying more for alcohol and cigarettes because the government went up on the taxes? If there has been a cost of living increase then nobody has told my landlord about it (and that is where it counts). I have been paying the same 4500 baht per month for almost the last 9 years. Let's see if anything changes in February when I sign a new contract.

I have also been paying the same 900 baht plus 60 baht tolls to get from the airport to Pattaya for as long as I can remember. So the taxi driver is not seeing it either. But I think the place that I eat breakfast has gone from 79 baht to 84 baht for the American breakfast: eggs, bacon, toast, juice, coffee or tea. So if we take that 5 baht difference and factor it into the 700 baht for a Soi 6 girl, then maybe she should be getting 40 baht more. 740 baht, which she did actually get if you add in the lady drink that I bought her!

Why insist on giving away money that there is no need to give away? If I give her more do you think she is going to say let me drop by his place and give him a free round? Do you think her pussy would have gotten any wetter? All it does it make you feel good to pay more. I already feel good without paying more. And evidently the girls have no complaints about it either.

P.S. Today my brother bought 2 3 piece suits and 7 shirts. He told my brother 18,600 baht at first. My brother got the price to 17,000 baht. He also wanted 1500 baht to put a special lining in each suit. My brother talked him to do both for that 1500. Should I tell him to tip the guy when his clothes are ready?

Even the 18,600 is too cheap for two good quality suits. I think sometimes you must pay a little more for quality as those suits will probably wear out sooner than later. Cheap fabric and cheap women can be one in the same LOL.

Just kidding about the women as I know you have a good lay of the land in Patts but if it's not too late, tell your brother to find a better tailor with better quality fabric or he will waste all that money. 17,000 is 17 soi 6 girls for most of us and 24 or you.

What happens if you don't make a public statement regarding how you feel about the way someone else posts, his writing style, how often and so on? Will your head explode? You know, it is entirely possible that for every one member who is annoyed by something there are two others who are entertained and further enlightened by it. Your feelings about it might be in the minority and, besides, have no relevance to the purpose of this site anyway.

Of course, if you disagree with what is being posted by anyone on its accuracy, that is a golden opportunity for you to cite or quote what specifically you disagree with and challenge it. If you can. But if you can't, then grousing about the writer's methods or whatever is probably recognized by most as a weak attempt to disagree for reasons having to do with personal issues but with no real basis for doing so.

I think I am going too early as in my limited experience I have seen near empty bars or hardly any girls worth doing. What was your best time of day to visit the Soi?

Best time is between 4:22 pm to 7:48 pm as a warm up for walking street.

I usually went close to opening or a couple of hours after, usually between 1 pm-3 pm and would stay a few hours. I never went at night as I had other stuff going on in the evening, although I walked through Soi 6 a few times at night and it did seem more lively.

Here is a review of my first trip to Pattaya (heaven on earth) I am already planning my next trip in September for one month.

I turned 40 on this trip and spent 3 weeks in Pattaya and mostly spent all my time on Soi 6. I am in good shape physically, dress well when I go out looking for chicks and have a overall positive attitude when dealing with them. I went to a large selection of bars on the 6 and had a different girl or two each day. The top bars for sexy girls for me was at Mods Bar, SITC, Smoke and Mirrors, Lust, Pussyclub, Horny Bar, Foxy Bar and the Ruby Club. I spent the equivalent of $1550 canadian on all my encounters which included a drink for me, one or two lady drinks, short time room fee and fee for the lady.

It was my first trip to Pattaya, 4th time in Thailand. Have been to Patong / Bangkok twice, once in 2013 and 2015 and also Bangkok / Chiang Mai in 2016. I stated this hobby in Patong in 2015 mainly with massage girls, tried the game in Bali in 2014 and 2017 at the massage parlors and x houses but never tried Pattaya until this year. And I am totally hooked, it is everything, city, girls, nightlife, food and beaches that I could have asked for.

I found the pricing reasonable, I spent no more than $1600 Canadian on girls and lady drinks, drinks for myself, room and lady fee; on average about 1500 baht per encounter and the food was way cheaper then anywhere in Bali and I would say even parts of Thailand. So I wouldn't say I overspent at all. I only got turned down once on Soi 6 by a girl who only goes long time with Koreans but other then that I had a %100 success rate on Soi 6 with girls between the ages of 18-24. I stayed at the Hilton on beach road but never took girls back, mostly because I had this image of what I wanted to experience in Pattaya and that was Soi 6 so I stuck with that. And yeah no real strife other then girls "having crushes and falling for me" and I know how that goes. All in all it was a great trip and I have a serious case of the Pattaya blues now that I am home but the best way to beat the Pattaya blues is to book another trip right away. Which is just what I did!

Thanks for taking the time to report. I really enjoyed your post. What sticks out is the cost of a week of mongering on Soi 6 for $1500 and you probably having a blast on your 40th.

Pattaya is great, 700 Baht on Soi 6 is a bargain, Mr. E and his brother are the Kings of Pattaya, MP has game, and BKK Dog doesn't know shit! Is everyone happy now! LOL.
