Was in Pattaya a few weeks ago. Been many many times already so it was far from my first rodeo.

As usual I started my afternoons at soi6 for some drinks and a shorttime before moving on to Treetown or LK Metro area for the 2nd pump of the day.

As many will be able to attest and at the expense of sounding like a doomsday priest, Pattaya keeps getting shittier from year to year (which is why I am looking into Colombia recently, any tips welcome via DM). Buses now depart from outside SM Mall in Angeles and go directly to the airport using Manila's excellent expressway. My bus departed at 9. 30 am and pulled up infront of Terminal 1 at 11.20 am, less than two hours later (and that included a ten minute drop-off at Terminal 3). It cost 410 pesos and I would highly recommend it. Buses depart at half past the hour from from 2. 30 am to 10.30 pm.

The ride gave me a good opportunity to reflect on my time in Angeles. I enjoyed visiting a year ago but now more bars are open and there are lots more girls. Once again I'm staying at Vogue Hotel. The location is great, just off soi Lengkee, the rooms are spacious and clean and they always seem to have good deals on Agoda. My room is costing about 800 baht a night.

The time was 7. 40 pm and ordinarily I'd have been keen to bounce straight back out but I'd been feeling ropy all day and as the day progressed felt progressively worse. I've been feeling run down the past few days, going out every night for three weeks drinking alcohol has caught up with me. I've also got an annoying cough due to all of the cigarette smoke in bars. I went to a local pharmacy and bought some medicine and decided to take the evening off.

Next day I still felt rough. I've noticed I often pick things up in Philippines. First off, popular profiles is a scam. They do that to get you to pay. Still well worth paying for me living here. I get a yearly subscription.
