The downside of Carrefour is of course that they are a French outfit.

Pattaya - here and now,

Currently, Freeler is in Pattaya, not doing any P4P at all, since my GF#1 lives here in a nice big house and I am well embedded so to speak. But I did take a walk with her along Beach Road and it was busy. Didn't see mant familiar faces tho.
Apart from GF#1 being here, the other major upside of Pattaya is the temperature. I'd say that now (11.15 am) it's at least 5C warmer than in Korat a couple of days ago. We had the AC going last night, I didn't ever even use a fan up in Isaan in the last three weeks!

Carrefour, houses many establishments. First there is a home center call Home Pro, pretty much like a Home Depot ( if you are from the states ), it also houses a Super Market in which you can buy house hold items and T.V. maybe like a small Wal-Mart. There are also many small independent shops throughout the building. There is a food court, MailBox Etc... with Internet, Coffee shop, KFC, Subway Sanwiches, Swensen Ice Cream, M.K. and Fuji Restaurant, Donut shop, etc.....
Go for coffee at 94 Degree and sit and watch the ladies come and go!

0. I'm not a newbie or an oldbie, somewhere in between.

1. Shitload of Russian tourists, Russian mafia pimps, Russian mafia *****s. Actually I don't know anything about the Russian mafia but I assume where the money is, they are.

2. First time here during "high" season, but there are less people than my previous low-season trips so that should give an idea about how tourist numbers are down.

3. There really are a lot of beautiful women here. Not to put anyone down, but when I see some of the pictures of guys' "dreamgirls", I wonder why they accept pudgy bodies, saggy tits, and stretch marks.

For example, Tonight I strolled along the beach and saw many good looking girls and about 5 stunning girls, as in perfect from hair, to face, to body. Every stunner was ready to go. I took one back to my room after agreeing on 500 baht short time.

In addition to being a perfect looker, she performed expertly, was fun to talk to, and I fucked her for 2 hours with some resting, talking, laughing, mixed in.

4. I'm sorry I don't have a camera, and my cell phone is the cheapest kind around. I hope to do better next time.

5. Soi Buah Kaow (spelling? ) Is a nice road to cruise to see a good number of good looking girls, both in bars and walking along the street.

6. Since I've been here, by far my best sessions have been with freelancers from the beach, and always 500 baht short time.

They consistently try very hard to please. In my experience, they far outperform their "professional" sisters who work in the bars.

7. Again no offense, but if you had only the Pattaya population to go by, you would think the caucasian race is just the ugliest ever to populate the earth, and nearly every farang comes with a beach ball implanted in his abdomen.

8. Pattaya is a great place to just walk around. Because of this, it is also a great place to get a daily foot massage.

9. The food court in the bottom of Carrefour is a great place to eat. I had two meals and a coke for 80 baht.

10. Many hotels (even low cost ones) and restaurants now offer free wi-fi.

If you are coming from the beach direction, travel East on Cental Pattaya Road.

Just after you pass 3rd road you will see Carrefour on your left

Thanks for the location. I see it on the map, and I see that it's a giant building, but I can't tell what it is. Is it a grocery store? Home center?

I've been to Pattaya twice and thought I'd seen everything, but I clearly missed this place. It looks very interesting.

I notice you're using a lot of words like "stunner" and "perfect". Dude, not every guy uses the same scale as you. For whatever reason, people don't like the same things. Maybe their definition of "perfect" either doesn't exist or prioritizes other things. Who knows why Hugh Grant fucked Divine Brown when he had Liz hurley waiting at home. We're not all motivated by the same desires. Get a clue.

I think it's the same reason the bars employ these girls -- a certain number of guys actually feel more comfortable with (let's be polite) non-babes. Low self-esteem, I guess.

Interesting theory, what do you mean by "unemployable"? Looks, attitude, disease? I'm sure the various bars are loaded with sub-standard types. Hard to imagine a girl can be "unemployable" in Pattaya.

My limited experience talking with these freelancers is that they prefer that method for exactly that reason, the are free to do as they like.

The latest beach road girl I was with (who I enjoyed a second time, and have spent some "other" time with), says she has the option of working at a go go on walking street but doesn't really like it. She does a whole variety of other things with her day, besides the few hours she spends at the beach at night.

Of course many of the beach girls have other regular jobs or other obligations so the beach scene for them is a second job that fits there schedule but doesn't commit them to the control of the bar owner.

What the girls are referring to is ... this time of the year it is normally high season but maybe due to the economy and the airport being shut down many tourist have canceled their plans to visit Thailand this holiday season. Thus you are getting the line ... same as low season although it's suppose to be high season. Don't worry go more girls for you if you're there!

I am in Pattaya, my hotel has no rooms for 2 days, Dec 30 and 31. Tried 2 places, finally got Inn House on Soi 13 for 1450 b which is way overpriced but I took it because there was nothing else below 2500b.
