I have a hard time getting CIM on Soi 6. But I asked the top 6 looking girls on Soi 6 at 3 PM. Top 6 in terms of generally accepted standards. I am very much with you on that. My pointing out that there are many, many girls on Soi 6 who most of us on first sight would agree ought to be fine with 700 baht ST and that we probably would never take for more than that anyway, if that much (yes, gents, same as many, many girls in BKK) and then asking those particular questions was also in response to the perhaps saddened poster who wondered why a punter would negotiate such a girl down for the sake of $9.14. The fact is if the "700 baht and no more!" punters didn't take them they likely would almost never get a customer. Therefore, in a very real sense, one should not lament that this or that customer denied that poor girl 300 baht, but rather be glad there was at least someone willing to give them as much as 700 baht today.

It isn't like the top best looking girls on Soi 6 are being brilliantly hard bargained down from 1000 baht to 700 baht and still providing some fantastic sexual session they likely only provided the 1000 baht customers in their dreams. No doubt the vast majority of punters who don't work hard or bother to say anything at all to negotiate their chosen girls down from 1000 baht to 700 baht are not "fools". They've got eyes. They know there are "700 baht negotiable" girls and others, the ones they are likely dealing with instead, who have no reason to accept less than 1000 baht from any guy on this day. - Note: For my girl rating scale, I use a Bell curve. For all you non-engineering geeks out there, the shape of the curve is a bell. Most of the girls are average, around a 5. Very few high scores.

- IMO, many of the girls on Soi 6 are on the ugly side. Checked last month and the last 2 days around 3 PM. There are 5's around; only a few 6's; no 7's.

- At WS Tantra go-go, many 6's. I thought Nos. 129, 140, 242, 300, and 304 are 7's. I thought No. 322 is a 7.5. I liked the body of No. 300.

- At Infinity, I thought No. 403 is a 7. IMO, she's about 10 pounds overweight, although many people like the full figure type. I prefer skinny. If you are coming to Pattaya PM me right before you come. There is no use for receiving info a month in advance as lineups change. I go to G clubs often but only post updates on occasion. I'll only provide you with information on the promise you write a timely field report after you go.

If you are looking for top gogo quality girls no need to consider G clubs. Only know of one currently and I'm selfishly keeping her to myself since I hate going to her bar and having to wait for her among the 4s she works with.

How many days spent in Pattaya? I'm going to guess the percentage of time spent in Pattaya is around half of a half of a half of a percent. And the opposite is true for Mr E who's spent more time in Pattaya than Bangkok. So its pretty much pointless to keep up this argument unless you move down to Pattaya and Mr E moves up to Bangkok.

Who is arguing? There are also many, many P4P girls in Bangkok whose asking price of 1000 baht could easily be reduced to 700 baht by anyone willing to go there too. Especially if nothing particularly above the most basic sexual fare is mentioned or requested. Happy?

I have been living in Bkk more than 6 years, after spending the same number of years vacationing in Thailand 4-5 weeks a year, most of that time spent in Pattaya. But that was 20-25 years ago. Now I much prefer Bkk.

However, I have gone to Pattaya for 2-3 day trips at least 7-8 times in the past 6 years. I took two such trips there in just the past 4 weeks. The most recent one, two weekends ago, was with a non pro gf from Bkk who had never been there before and had a rare 3-day free weekend from her job. Many people including me live in fear of a crack-down on soi 6, like prohibition of short time rooms, or repeated raids causing girls not to work there any more. When that happens my sex-life in Thailand will be at an end.

A more certain danger for expats is probably the attrition caused by the ever worsening THB exchange rate but if price is not an issue for you no need to worry.

A buddy just moved into a new (to him) house off Khao Talo so I went to check him out today. We were shooting the shit and throwing around stories. Thanks for responding in a constructive way. I would only ask that you consider the following. How long have you been paying 700? Has not Thailand experienced cost of living increases in that time?

Why do you say that? Because you are paying more for bar girls? You are paying more for alcohol and cigarettes because the government went up on the taxes? If there has been a cost of living increase then nobody has told my landlord about it (and that is where it counts). I have been paying the same 4500 baht per month for almost the last 9 years. Let's see if anything changes in February when I sign a new contract.

I have also been paying the same 900 baht plus 60 baht tolls to get from the airport to Pattaya for as long as I can remember. So the taxi driver is not seeing it either. But I think the place that I eat breakfast has gone from 79 baht to 84 baht for the American breakfast: eggs, bacon, toast, juice, coffee or tea. So if we take that 5 baht difference and factor it into the 700 baht for a Soi 6 girl, then maybe she should be getting 40 baht more. 740 baht, which she did actually get if you add in the lady drink that I bought her!

Then since Thai girls are like a box of chocolates you never know what you will get top her up to her asking price or more after the fact with a tip depending on the experience.

Why insist on giving away money that there is no need to give away? If I give her more do you think she is going to say let me drop by his place and give him a free round? Do you think her pussy would have gotten any wetter? All it does it make you feel good to pay more. I already feel good without paying more. LOL. I have already explained that. I may negotiate price, but never negotiate service. And I never have a problem with service. Satisfying? I have explained this before. On Soi 6 there is no set price. The only thing set is the bar fine or room fee. The amount you give the girl is negotiable. I have always given chicks on Soi 6 700 for short time and 1000 for long time, and I have reported doing such. Not my fault people here walk in and take the first price they are given.

Just like last night when me and my brother walked into a tailor shop and asked how much to make a shirt. He said 1000 baht. I said come on man you know that is too much. Then he said 800 baht. Now when I go to him and tell him I want 5 shirts etcetera, I will end up paying 700 baht for each shirt. But of course $9.14 means more to the tailor than it does to me right? Maybe, maybe not.

But the way things work around here is through negotiation. It is just that most people don't understand that and take the first price they are given. So who is really being taken advantage of? The bar girls that gets "out-negotiated" or the punter that does not know to negotiate? No chick is going to go for less than she is going to go for and no tailor will sell a shirt for less than he is going to sell it for.

P.S. It might stand to reason that the guy that did it all the time would have less money. The guy that only did it every blue moon maybe could afford to splurge. If I go into the club once a year then maybe I will get $150 bottle service. If I go into the club every other day then you think I am going to do that?
