Also would like to add, Airbnb is not totally illegal, what it means is that if you show the visa officials about your AirBNB booking, then they might not consider it and you might get deported. Although, I have seen a guy here on this forum writing that it was not an issue for his Visa process.

Correct for Pattaya, only the Cheap Charlie's are going there at the moment.

So the girls aren't rushing back in droves.

Phuket and Bangkok are better places for them right now with more quality punters / spenders there as more activities and options are open to enjoy an evening out partying. Pattaya probably will eventually get there, but honestly, the government is not encouraging it.

It's because the powers to be want to kill off Pattaya's much to high profile seedy image.

Phuket is buzzing right now, and Bangkok is starting to simmer and will get on the boil very quickly.

That is where the attractive girls now have gone.

If you wait, you will get the new Thailand, whatever that will be.

Right now it is alive, with great girls around.

I am quite familiar with the Hotel Marriott on Soi 2 as I am member of their athletic club when I reside in Bangkok. Rooms can be quite expensive, though perhaps you got a bit of a Covid discount for your stay, but agree that I would not bother taking a Thai girl to this hotel, nevertheless two, as it would be a waste of money better applied elsewhere.

As you can see, there are plenty of other three star options scattered alongside Suk and adjoining Soi's. I can think of several that would would offer more economical options. Needless to say, the brunch and dinner are also relatively pricey, though I do like their coffee shop and bakery.

I have stayed in plenty of hotels in this area, but I had never been in the Marriott before. The ladies seemed to like it.

I blew 500 baht on lingerie for one of the ladies, since she was just wrapping herself in a towel in the room. I think I got my money's worth out of it. Since she is not a bargirl, she had never gone with a Farang before. That also meant that all of her sex was the 3 minute quickie, so I spent some time figuring out what she liked, and got her to the point where she was shaking and couldn't take any more touching on her clit. Because the venues that are serving alcohol have a lot of customers. TreeTown is jammed with Farangs. There are maybe 1,000 tourists arriving every day, so the ladies are busy. Camel Toe has so many customers, they have to hire new ladies every day.

I am in Bangkok today, with my ex's sister's neighbor, and a mutual friend of theirs, for a weekend threesome. I am staying at the Marriott near Soi Nana, although I don't know if Thai ladies really appreciate staying in an upscale hotel, I may have pissed money down the drain.

The lady I went to Phuket with has a Thai boyfriend, and they are having an extended fight. I asked the two ladies night if it was possible that the boyfriend is unhappy that I went with his girlfriend to Phuket, and they were puzzled by my question. For them, a Thai man would never be concerned that his girlfriend was fucking a Farang, as long as there was money.

It seems to me that there is an acute and severe shortage of attractive girls in Pattaya now, while on the other hand more and more guys are arriving every day. The very few bars that have opened as restaurants are having a sausage fest every night. It seems owners and the agencies can't get their shit together and get the girls back. Soi 6, LK Metro and WS are still black holes, altough the back of iBar is now open as "New York restaurant" with gogo prices for drinks. Was there Thursday night, maybe a third full without attractive girl options. Treetown is still the place to go, with the crowded Area39 being the top spot in town. Here you see the occasional 7-9 girl but it is an absolute seller's market and you hardly have a chance without a couple of top shelf bottles on your table. That is if you have one. Then, following a night of drinking and a sizeable check bin, you might score a half wasted working girl. Not my thing. Even here man to girl ratio is bad. Lot's of guys from Bangkok around for the long weekends and festivals. Thaifriendly is getting a seller's market too, at least in the 7+ category, it seems the few better girls rather spend their time with their friends in Treetown partying and hunting for younger guys. Many popular TF girls moved down to Phuket. Also I am quoted on TF more often 2000 for ST now. Better chances on TF daytime but again, not my thing. All in all the big Pattaya reopening has not happened at all, don't let the videos of the crowds fool you, and until the girls return in large numbers, Pattaya is a sad shadow of its former self. New York Restaurant is actually decent food at a reasonable price. Nice getting a table overlooking the water. Took many gogo girls there. I always used New York Restaurant to walk in to rear of iBar. Pre-COVID usually not even a security guard there. Are you saying that iBar has now taken over New York Restaurant or has New York Restaurant "expanded" into the old iBar?

It is hard to say. You enter through the New York entrance from a pitch dark and deserted WS, then walk all the way to the back and over to the ibar terrace over the water. The ibar entrance is closed, so is the long wide corridor leading to the terrace, there is a partition just behind the pool tables. Everything is branded New York Restaurant but it is the same old ibar setting, you can even ask for your old bottle from before the lockdown and use your insomnia member card. I heard it really picked up over the long weekend now, so I will soon check it out again.

New York Restaurant is actually decent food at a reasonable price. Nice getting a table overlooking the water. Took many gogo girls there.
