I went to a gogo bar on walking street where some of the dancers completely strip. One of the dancers beckoned me over to sit next to the sttage. It was pretty cool in that I could touch. But knowing how he operates (don't know how he stays with the same chick for weeks at a time) I would say he is right on point. After 2 days I am trying to send them back home. I agree 100%. It's not difficult to have freebies in Pattaya for any guy that stays for a long time. I've always find it more difficult to get rid of them once you're tired of them.

Rule of thumb: if you are not doing it at home, don't expect to be able to go to another country and do it. Obviously you are not doing it at home and expect others not to be able to as well. Maybe you only know the nature of Thai hookers and know nothing of Thai girls. There is a difference.

That's because you don't know me. One more thing, they aren't targets. They're just normal women who have needs and desires. Now, when you meet a lady and she mentions money, that's a whole different ball game. I spend 9 months a year in Asia. Meeting regular girls is easy for me both online and in person. Yes, seriously, that's what I pay here in Pattaya, it is about two kilometers from the beach in Na Kluea part of Pattaya and it takes less than ten minutes on the scooter from the apartment to the beach. I love this block because it looks very European, architecture wise and coffee shop named NRA right here outside the building (K-Residence) looks very western. So for anyone interested, the address is Photisan Alley and Photisarn 8, when you see Fresh Mart, turn into the street and you have to see NRA cafe and K Residence sign and there is the office you can see from the street, ask for Leif, Big Danish guy with blue eyes and I'm sure he can give you a good deal. There is also a laundry in the same block.

If that's the case you got real lucky. A nice big studio for $150. Good for you. Most of the rooms for 150 usd or 5000 baht are just small 15-20 sq meter rooms with a small toilet.

After arrival I hooked up with a girl who kept in touch on a regular basis. Over the past year, I used give her between 300-500 baht (for food) when she stays with me overnight. I would just leave some baht on the table and tell her to take some money if she needs it. This girl has a regular job and as far as I know, she is 'not' part-timer. Of course, who knows what they really do what they do when they are out of your sight. When she stays with me, sometimes she would take 300, other times 500, sometimes nothing. Anyway, before I had left to the states, I told her I would bring her a few gifts when I got back. How do I get from Pattaya to Phuket? Do I go back to Bangkok and fly? And if so, I took a bus here for 220 baht, how do I find that price going back to airport?

Go to Utapao Airport, you don't need to go back BKK or DMK. If you want go back to Bangkok with bus you can use Bell Travel service or use the airport bus that have the Office on Thappraya Road.

It looked like he was talking about the studio when he said $150/ month and the bike when said 150 bhat / day, but they are equivalent so he probably did mean for the bike.

LOL. No way will you get a nice place for just $150 a month. A guy might be able to find a small room for that price, but not a nice studio. I pay about $450 usd a month and it includes a big pool and a fitness center. The first part of the sentence starts with "Motorbike rental". Then it got all jumbled up with the studio/landlord stuff.

I had to read it twice too. I was like huh?

... Motorbike rental, I got it through my Danish landlord, ... he got the bike for me from a lady who lives nearby and it cost me 150 bhath a day, no deposit, nothing, just plain wonderful.

You can fly out of Utapao airport to Phuket. The Pattaya airport is much closer than driving to Suvarnabhumi or DMK. I've never taken the bus but I believe the main bus terminals are near North Pattaya Road and Sukhumvit and another down near Jomtien at Theppraya and Theprassit. There may be more.

I don't think uber has developed a lot compared to other countries at-least in BKK. Used it to go to airport, it costed more than the local taxi and was unimpressed by the service (based on one data point, so take it with grain of salt) though the car was pretty good.

I took Uber from BKK to Sukhumvit. Good car, 5 minute response time, 300 baht plus tip. All positive experience. Driver's english was non-existent, but that is par for the course with taxicabs too.
