I went to Kinnaree Place a few months ago. I wanted to write a review of the place, but just couldn't remember the name. Thanks Banana Boi!
First, I will say that I wish I could tell you were Kinnaree Place is located, but I cannot. A buddy of mine took me on his motorbike and at the time I thought we were just going to eat lunch. That's what he told me anyway. So, we arrived at this place and there were dozens of motorbikes parked out front. We just happened to arrive on a day when there was a big birthday party going on. As soon as we walked in, we saw a few tables (buffet style) full of food. There was some Thai and some western style food. The food was okay.
After filling our plates full of food, we headed into the bar. The place was absolutely packed with men who were there for the birthday party, but there were still plenty of girls working. Most of the girls were fairly good looking in my opinion. Many were dressed in school girl outfits. All of the girls were friendly and welcoming. My friend and I made our way to a side room and ate our lunch while checking out the options from our table. After eating, we went back out to the main room to see the action there.
Fairly quickly, I spotted a skinny, cute young-looking girl (maybe 20 years old) I liked and called her over. I usually like to chat up the girl and have a drink or two before making a decision, but I knew right away I wanted this one. I forgot her name. Who can remember names? It has been a few months, but if I remember correctly, the deal for ST was about 300 baht for the use of a room and it was either 700 or 1,000 baht for her (sorry, but I can't remember... I just remember being happy about the deal). She led me back to the room where my buddy and I ate and said she would see if a room was ready. She came back about 30 seconds later and said I should order some drinks because there was no available room. I told her then I would have to cancel because my friend wanted to leave and we just had time for ST. She came back about a minute later and magically a room was available. She then presented me with a bill that included the room charge, lunch charge, and a few drinks that I did not order. She told me the drinks were so we could have a drink in the room. I told her I didn't want to drink. I just wanted to get to the room. She then took the bill back and returned with a new bill that only had the room charge, which was fine by me. So, if you go there, just be sure you are alert for extra drink charges.
We then passed back through the main room of the bar and went through some doors and into an area that had a few rooms. The room we used was clean, but the bed looked like it had seen better days. We showered and got down to business. She was very enthusiastic and had no problems with doing whatever I asked. I really enjoyed the Kinnaree Place and had planned to go back, but instead of paying attention to how to get there, on the way back I was busy telling my buddy about the girl I was with and then we got pulled over by the police (a "random" check to make sure he had his international driver's license). Then I met up with another forum member and he took me out to Walking Street. I lost my mind (so many sexy girls) once I went to Windmill and Sweethearts, but that's another story.
By the way, I am an author and have a book on Amazon (Cupid's Bow: Sex Tourist in Pattaya, Thailand). For a limited time, I am offering the book for free to paid members of the forum in exchange for an honest review. You'll need to PM me for the details. Thanks.

From the northern bus station in Pattaya to Suvarnabhumi it usually doesn't take longer than 90 minutes, maybe 120 at the most occasionally.
I would never take the Bell service to a hotel in Bangkok for the exact reasons you describe.

Posts: 3Any recommended places to stay whilst in Pattaya that are girl friendly? Going to be there for a few days in January.
Have read through a couple of months or so of posts and only seen two places mentioned.

Several years ago, I took the Bell van from Pattaya to my hotel in Bangkok. It took forever. From Pattaya, the Bell van went to the BKK airport to drop off passengers and pick up a few more passengers. From the airport, the Bell van headed to Bangkok to drop off passengers whose drop offs were in various locations throughout the city. With traffic, it turned into a long "milk run" or unwanted sightseeing tour of the city as the Bell van went from one hotel to another hotel to another hotel to another hotel. If your hotel is the first drop off, you're luck and you'll be fine. In my case, my hotel was the last drop off. From Pattaya to my hotel in Bangkok, I think it took 8 hours. As I struggled to hold my bladder to keep from pissing in my pants, I vowed to NEVER AGAIN take the Bell van to a hotel in Bangkok.
Since that dreadful experience, I take the bus from Pattaya to the Ekkamai bus station in Bangkok. From there, I take the BTS to my hotel. If I have too much to carry, I'll catch a taxi from Ekkamai to my hotel.
If time is a priority, and you can afford the expense, a taxi from Pattaya to Bangkok is the quickest and easiest way.

Posts: 542Pattaya to DMK. Travel Time on a Sunday in late November
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Much appreciated.
One other question. I need to be to BKK (not DMK) by 1 PM. I will take the 9 AM bus from Pattaya (Bell, North Station). They will pick me up, which I assume, based on last time, will be around 8:30 AM. Under normal situations, the travel time should be not more than 3 hours and I would be there by noon, but I have read that sometime there can be huge traffic delays along that road. My travel date will be on Sunday, November 22, which is NOT a Thai holiday and, being at 9 AM, I would think I would beat the returning weekend crowd. But, IDK! November is the moderately high season, and I have no idea if there might be hoards of tourists who need to head back to Bangkok early Sunday.
Do you all think I will be back to BKK (not DMK) with time to spare?

Excellent advice, and fairly consistent with what I have heard from others, namely: Jakarta should be high on the list but Bali due to the expense and other parts of Indonesia (like Surabaya) due to the lack of choice should be re-thought; Malaysia, apart from maybe Kuala Lupur, is a wasteland for mongering; concentrate on Phnom Penh in Cambodia; focus on HCMC in Vietnam. All very useful in helping me refine and better focus my plan.
Thanks to you and other for this kind of help.
