i was in pattaya for the weekend, and wow it is such a nice time to be there.

tourists are at their lowest, most bars and gogo's are going almost customer less.

i went to bars around soi lk metro and went to the world famous devil's den, but i was apparently the first customer in 3 days,

in [CodeWord901]'s too, i was the first customer at 12 noon.

most gogos and sports bar were aggressively pulling in customers and beers were going at rock bottom prices at 49 bahts.

i always gave preference to bangkok over pattaya, but this time (in low season) , i felt so much welcoming there,

guys time to catch the 100 bahts van to pattaya, from victory monument and in less than 2 hours, you will be in pattaya and be treated like a king.

great. well, i hope it's still like that in late aug / september. was thinking to do split time with ac in phils as well, but pattaya sounds like it offers more. will keep options open. waiting for report from amex sg. when is your trip report coming out? previous reports were very informative.

There are plenty of beautiful young ladies. No worries about that!

Here come the BKKers trying to screw up my beloved Pattaya by overpaying the disco girls. LOL. One more time: LT FL Disco = 1000 baht! You don't need a discussion the night before. Just fork over the 1000 when you are ready for her to leave. OC you found out that there is a thin line between pro and non-pro in those discos. Many girls have regular jobs and just go there to have fun and will go home with you on GP. The thing is that you don't know who those girls are because they are all mixed in so it is the luck of the draw. In some cases it may be best to wait until the girl is ready to go the next day and asks about payment. Like the one who bought the Hennessey. She has her own salon in Pattaya. She never asked my cousin for any money. But he screwed it up because he likes to go to the same damn discos every night and openly butterfly around like nobody sees him. It's okay for the guy on vacation but when you live there and the chicks are used to seeing you, you have to adjust your game accordingly.

The club on the left Soi as you go up the hill towards Jomtien is called the Jade Garden it is in the Soi with an arched entrance set back from the main road and is on the right about 100 mts down.

There is also a newish place called the Sapphire Lodge opposite the Asia Pattaya Hotel which I haven't visited but intend to on my next trip in about 3 weeks time.

I have taken a few girls from both Kinnaree and Rioja ST on site and I have found some nice gems in both places.

My last 2 visits to Rioja were most worthwhile for the nice girls there.

A little late, forgot all about these places? If you know Pattaya and can get around here are a few places that the prices are similar to Soi 6? Did a tour with a few friends 2months ago. We just visited but didn't partake.

Kinnaree Place: 389/110 Moo12 Pratumak road, soi 4, This place opens at 1pm and closes at 9pm, it seems to be a afternoon freelancer hang out and the few girls we spoke to ask for 1000 ST, but in my opinion I believe one get it for less.

Rioja Gentlemens club, off Thepprasit, take a left on Soi 7, Honda dealership go all the way down to the end near the Jomtien sport complex. 12/10pm, there seem to be shorttime rooms and one girl ask for 1000 ST, I didn't say anything and later she said up to you?

Can't remember the name or Soi number but just off Sukhumvit just before the McDonalds go down, there is a club there, This particular place there weren't any customer except us and the girls were agressive where they took off their clothes and wanted us to take them. 22 'Coconut Ghosts' were arrested and taken to Pattaya Police Station in the early hours of Friday. The new name for those suspected of loitering on Pattaya Beach with intent to engage in prostitution or other criminal acts has been given to them by Pattaya Police who round-up men and women who are suspected of loitering on a nightly basis. On this occasion 7 women and 15 transsexuals were taken to the station and fined the sum of 100 Baht before being sent on their way with a stern warning not to be seen on Pattaya Beach again. The warning was ignored and the 'Coconut Ghosts' returned to the beach to continue doing whatever they were doing previous to their arrest.

Sucks to have to pay money for being "suspected" of doing something and being told that you are not to be seen in a public place.

Arrests on Beach Road are part of life in Pattaya, they happen every so often.

The raid on Secrets is more worrying as faranags were not allowed to leave the club during the raid.

It appears a former partner has fallen out and is bringing trouble to the club. Who would want to visit until this is sorted out?
