I am so sick of walking into Go-Go bars that are nothing more than: Bikini Dancers, Fashion Shows, Coyote no-show no-go's! I can see much more and better even in America! The Prude Policia are ruining the Pussy Play-ground here!

So I found a few that still have some hot chicks, that still go full-nude, not just for scheduled show-time of dubious value! Not Just topless, but full-nude, what a concept for strip clubs!

Pattaya Report – Day 1, Arrival (May 9).

This report is a continuation of my initial Bangkok Report followed by my Phuket Report. Experienced Pattaya travels can skip this day's report. I did no mongering, and am only recording what I did upon leaving Phuket and some of my experiences, thoughts and observations on the evening of my arrival in Pattaya.

I checked out of the see&and hotel in Phuket at noon. I had them arrange transportation to get me to the airport for my Bangkok Airways trip to Pattaya (UTP). The cost was 700 be, and it took about 45 minutes. Flight 282 was to leave at 3:15, but it was delayed and didn't depart until about 4:30. UTP is pretty small, so deplaning was fast and it only took a few minutes for the luggage to appear.

One thing I was a bit concerned about was getting transportation into town. I had emailed my hotel to ask what they recommended, but never got a reply. Well, I should not have worried. After you collect your baggage, you go through the exit doors and to either side of you will be girls telling you to come get a taxi ticket for 250 be. They are not really taxi's, but mini-buses. They hold 9 or 10 passengers, and you simply tell the driver your hotel, then he drives to Pattaya and drops you off, one by one. Piece of cake. I think they also have regular taxis there that will take you directly to your hotel. Not sure what the taxi fare would be, but I read (but didn't confirm) it was set by law to 700 be. A taxi would be a bit faster unless you happen to be the first one off. I was the third stop, which wasn't bad, but with the late departure from Phuket, we arrived in Pattaya after dark in Saturday night, high congested traffic. Because of that, it took around 75 minutes to get to my hotel.

I chose to stay at the Dynasty Inn due to its central location and, perhaps most importantly, it is a non-smoking hotel. Also, it has been well reviewed here on the Pattaya Hotels board, e. G. Meaning it is girl friendly. I will note that on the hotel maps, the hotels seem like distinct entities easy to get to and identify, but in reality Pattaya, like Phuket and even Bangkok, is one continuation of structures with no open spacing. If there is a square foot of open space, it will be filled up. So I was totally disoriented when I arrived. The driving dropped me off and I was looking for the hotel. It was down an alley and I didn't see it at first! In fact, on the map, it appears that to get to the beach from the Dynasty Inn, one has to walk in a northern or southern direction, then turn on a side street and walk to the end. In actuality, you just exit the hotel, hang a left and walk a ways and you are there. Very easy, but don't forget the street (Soi 13 for me) or you can get lost.

Check in was easy and when I got to my room I was very pleasantly surprised. I will later report in the Pattaya Hotel review board more about it, but it has a real shower and it has drawers, so I was able to unpack! It does have that blasted magnetic dongle attached to the mechanical room key that removes power to the room when you leave, but at least the A / see cools the room quickly and you can control the speed of the fan. But still no wash cloths! What is up with that?!

Anyway, when unpacked, I headed out to get the lay of the land. I headed to Beach Road, which was very congested with motor vehicles and people. I turned towards Walking Street, which wasn't an unpleasant walk in the relative cool of the evening. I walked pretty much the entire length, taking it all in. I was saying "Wow, I am here" to myself, but becoming a bit overwhelmed. Phuket did not quite prepare me for the sheer magnitude of it all. And while Phuket had mostly open bars where the dancers were in full sight, all of that was now inside so only the girls out front trying to lure you inside were visible. And there were a lot. I nearly forgot about the Soi's (sidestreets), and after I turned back at the end, I randomly went down one. The street I chose was not busy at all, and I walked the entire length to, what, Second Street?, then turned back around. I let some guys hustle me inside one bar that looked promising as I was getting thirsty and was curious. It was small and there were 6 girls up on a small stage dancing (2 topless), and a few more sitting down, but I was the only guy there! I ordered a coke, but felt really self-conscious being the only one and really not wanting to bar fine anyone yet. Before I finish my coke, a girl sits next to me. She is pretty enough and I let her get a LD (185 be for whatever she got). He English was poor so it was difficult to talk. She drank half and asked if I wanted to dance. I declined, then she left to go to the stage and dance with the other girls! What's up with that? Aren't you allowed to skip your turn if a guy bought you a LD, especially when he is the only dude there? I was about the leave anyway, but I was a little upset at her leaving me to dance on the stage, so I paid my bill and left. Sheesh. Sorry, I don't know the name of the bar, so maybe I am wasting bandwidth mentioning it as the info can't help anyone. (If I go back by there I will get the name and post it so you can chose to avoid them if you wish.) As I was leaving, another guy stuck his head in, seeing nothing going on, left. I should have done that too I suppose. I don't want to sit and drink when I where the girl to guy ratio is 10:1 and I am expected to buy LDs. But, indeed, there were a couple of really good looking girls in there, and with the assumption they were available for take-out, may have given a good deal. But, it was barely past 9 PM, so the evening was young.

I was tired by this time and wasn't sure if I really felt like doing any mongering. A night of rest might do me good. I kept an open mind and decided to head back to my room buy walk on the beach side this time. There were quite a few obvious FLers out. Some were very cute, but there were LBs in the midst. One girl I was eying first spoke to guy in front of me, and sounded liked she might have been a he. Sure didn't look like a LB, but didn't quite sound like a girl either. A few girls eyed me and a couple said Hi, but none I found attractive enough.

I was tired and reasoned that I could shower and take a nap then head back out around midnight. However, I slept and didn't wake up until after 2 AM, which would have been ok probably to look for stragglers, but I was comfortable in my soft bed and didn't. Perhaps I should have, as after that I seemed to keep waking up every 15 minutes and was having some strange dreams. But that brings us to Day 2.

I will close day 1 with the observation that a few days in Phuket does not really prepare you for Pattaya. The situation is different. Phuket is small scale, but more intimate I would say. I mean, I won't be making friends with some of the girls standing in front of the bars, or sitting down and playing games with one of them. I won't be walking up and down Walking Street 10 times in the night. But, the potential here is so much greater. I am interested in how it will all turn out!

And that my friend, what you just said, is part of the reason Indians are descriminated against. The girls are not sent to please you they are there to make a living and you my friend and all of us are PAYING customers. A means to an end. Rule number 1) treat them like you treat a real woman.

I have been to Thailand like three times I had faced issue when I was traveling with my friend! If your an Indian solo traveling would be the best thing to do especially if you are in Thailand! Dress well present yourself learn to be polite smell good, wear your shoes and keep smiling, bottom line dress well as if your going to work or meet your GF and avoid Indians who come in packs I guarantee you won't face any discrimination issues! Last couple of times I traveled solo it was the more memorable trip ever I met few hot chicks only issues I faced was that I choose to stay in a two star hotel all the hottie I banged kept complaining and insist on moving to a better place I always shove my dick in their mouth when they keep complaining problem solved!

So good luck and in agoda.com some hotels in Pattaya and Bangkok deny booking if one have an Indian passport! So yes you are right we Indians are discriminated everywhere in fact I learned to live with it! If they don't like me I always smile and walk away some hot chicks I met in the bar and disc won't go with you if your an Indian so I always tell them I'm Arab good gracious lord I sometimes look like them!! So good luck!! Thailand is filled with beautiful angels sent from above to please horny men like us!

From my observation, and from what bar girls have told me, they don't like Indian men who travel in packs. It's unsettling for them (bar girls) since Indian men have a reputation for non-consensual gang bangs.

It's true. Indians would be treated differently at Pattaya Been there a year back and felt not to go back to Pattaya again. We 3 friends had close to 100 k baht to spend but not a single go go in walking street gave us the entry. Our brothers have created this reputation believe me they have the capability to drink a 60 baht beer for a whole night in a go go and no wonder they don't let us in. I was just noticing a group if Indians haggling with a WG for 10 minutes and after some a Japanese came exchanged couple of words and they left together. In places where things are costly and you definitely have to spend money you'll not have any problems entering. Massage parlors. Clubs with entry fee.

What you consider and what you get quoted are probably in different ballparks. Good luck with getting LT for a thousand baht.

Was my daily rate for my LT (28 yrs, 6-7), travelling with me to various islands in October, for 2 weeks.

But she charged the same for the first night only.

So, I do not need luck. Have good enough manners instead.
