It's pretty sad if a Thai man pays for sex in Pattaya. Most of the ladies who come to Pattaya are looking for a Thai mate, since they have kids and most can't find a boyfriend in the village where they lived. They are hoping for a Thai man who has money, so the lady can stop work bar, but it's more common for the Thai man to scrounge off her. And, since she works long hours, the Thai man's goal is for him to stop work and use her money to secure other ladies.

You can set two sims on your iPhone, just not two physical so one normal SIM and one ESIM, had no issue setting up it during my last trip, I went for Thai ESIM and had it set online prior to arrival and, worked well, it was 25 USD via AIS for 30 days /60 gb but there are shorter plans as well.

Regarding prices, it's about equal between bars and tf cause although girls are usually cheaper in bars, you also pay for some drinks. But obviously, it varies, some guys here will quote really low numbers and although it's possible it usually requires some specific condition like low season / early during day or late at night when demand is low or a familiarity with the girl. The most common price I paid was 2000, with the cheaper girls you can end up just being disappointed with what shows up at your door, being a cheap charlie works for some but it aint for me.

I got 1 k regularly on Soi 6 just 8 months ago and the ladies I took were attractive. Certainly not tier 1 ladies, but I would say tier 2 ladies and attractive with nice bodies.

I can't imagine things have changed too much in 8 or so months. It was also the deepest portion of low season (Aug, Sept, Oct) so that must help with getting cheaper rates.

Buy a SIM card with unlimited data at the airport when you arrive. You can even buy one in the baggage hall, when you're waiting for your luggage. As already said by others, Wi-Fi is a hassle and the SIM cards are not expensive. And beside that you will need the app Line to stay in touch with the girls. I'm sure you've read about Line on this forum.

To each his own, a physical SIM is OK if your phone is a dual physical SIM device (iPhone is not!) or you're spending at least a few months in Thailand. I've tried both SIM and eSIM, and physical SIM is a big hassle especially when you're exhausted and jet-lagged, and then I had problems with a few of my apps that relied on the phone number. I had no access to my original phone number most of the time and people were trying to reach me pretty often. ESIM could be too expensive in the long run, but it's much more convenient, especially for vacations.

3 o'clock might even be too early, if you want to meet them in the evening. TF gets really going after 7 or 8 PM, and keeps going until the next morning around 8 or 9 AM. Although I don't know if there is a dip in between, because most of the time I'm not online between 11 PM and 7 AM.
And as already said: 1500 THB is a reasonable expectation for a semi-attractive woman to come to your room (although some board members say they get them for (much) less).

That was not my experience. At 3 PM TF would be buzzing with life, IMHO it's a good time to start if you don't have contacts established. Perhaps a bit early if you already have contacts, and want a girl at night. Some of the freelancers who have a day job start looking for customers shortly before their shift is over. I've been quoted 1500 for ST and 3000 for LT very consistently on TF, in beer bars, massage parlours and GCs. In gogos it's 3000ST, and usually 5000 LT. BJ in a GC would be anything between 500 to 800 or 1000, plus a room fee and LD which bumps the overall prices well above 1000. I have once been offered and took LT for 2000, from a beer bar, but it wasn't worth it at all.

The quoted prices do not seem to depend on the quality of the lady, or her skills, motivation etc. I can totally picture getting very heavy discounts from 50+ year old Ladies, or 40+ in bad shape, especially Beach Road and TF. And even more so if you're a regular. I understand if someone isn't very picky about who they bang, I'm not!, but honestly I can get that back home for free (nymphos).

I would guess it's still possible to negotiate even with the more attractive ladies, but I couldn't be bothered, nor did I want the negative emotions. I'd rather focus on getting best quality in that price range, and I'd pay extra if the performance was really good. I had one hot girl who I tipped just over 500 THB ask me "why are you giving me so much money?" with a totally puzzled look on her face. She was 22, the experience was spectacular, and I really wanted her to come back, she did!

Oh, and taking girls from gogos doesn't really make much sense. You can try it a few times for the experience, but for me their allure is the entertainment skills they have, which don't matter much in a 1-on-1 situation. So it makes sense only if she's hot, very young, and very willing, and you don't feel like looking for a girl elsewhere.

The original question was about Short Time rates. So, those are the answers that were proffered. I every economy there is the insider rate and the outsider rate. It is up to the individual to know their prices and do what they need to do if they wish to get lower rates.

I suppose that if the question was posed for long time rates the answers would be very different, Many others posting in other threads speak of those prices:

For short trips, 2000 baht a day. For extremely long trips 1000 baht a day.

I don't do what they do so for the most part I cannot comment on the rates paid to take your prostitute on trips or to have her spend the night with you. But personally I do not feel that making the comparison between long time prices and short time prices is accurate. Precisely because of the portion I highlighted in bold. The objective measure of price is Cost Per Orgasm (CPO). The formula is that you take the total costs involved in getting your orgasms and divide that total by the number orgasms you received.

On soi 10 I would think the Stay is far enough down the road, not to be too affected by the beer bars. Even Page 10 (which is much closer), isn't affected that badly.

They often have live bands playing at those beer bars, and they are very loud.
