If you are under 32 and a good looking guy, probably the best thing for you is nowhere near Bangkok or Patts. It would be away from the farang tourist destinations. As a young man, you would have the allure of the farang working to the maximum with the young local women. Its said been said that Thailand is not the best place for a Westerner to date because it is inundated with foreigners and girls are used to them. But, up north in Phitsanulok, I saw maybe one farang, a tall, blonde, backpacker who was probably good fodder for some other young backpacker male. Never made it to Isaan, but I understand that in some cities the women are much more approachable and friendly than in BKK. They don't get many farang there. I'm visiting Thailand beginning of Feb. For about a week for the first time ever. I'm debating if I should spend majority of that time in Bangkok and some in Pattaya, or all in Bangkok and none in Pattaya. I hear Pattaya is the sex capital in terms of industry and also where there are fun beaches but everything I'm reading here on this forum and elsewhere implies it's not as good a scene anymore. 48 hours a few days ago and with so many options you need a plan to maximize pleasure. But with this hobby you need a plan A and a plan be if you don't catch the right pussy at first.
