TF has one major problem. There is no predictability when the girl will arrive. It can be anywhere between 1 hour to 3 hours.

What a great report mate, you brought up some amazing memories from Jomtien area, a location I fell in love with since my first visit way back 2004. Rompho market bars and others on Sois 3-7 will give that laid back feel away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya. On my off-pussy-days I use to frequent a sports bar named Frasers. Behind the gay area you mentioned there was a massive bar with lots and lots of drinks from all over the world, like a 100's type of whiskeys and the whole lot.

"Jomtien- Soi 3-9 Bars: multiple bars along these roads between Beach Road and Second Road, mixed within other businesses. Most have the same format of a few girls in the front near the road encouraging customers to come in- to be entertained by the girls in conversation, to my knowledge all are available for bar fine, I expect at 300 with 1000-1200 Baht for the lady, most of the ladies are on the mature side of the spectrum. Beer cost of 65-70, Scotch about the same. A few ladyboys but not many.

Jomtien- Thapphraya Rd (Second Road to Beach Road) this is the main road between Pattaya and the Beach in Jomtien. With about 10 bars and restaurants sometimes called restaurant row- several good bars with street view, service ladies to keep the drinks flowing- Country Road, Country Club, Escobar, Pool Bar, Sand Bar, to name a few which will have a variety of European customers, ladies, all with pretty good music, live on occasion, lots of street food available."

They have always made deals with India. I have a friend in Bangkok that would go to India to advertise Thai tourism and packages. She would come to Pattaya to check out the hotels that were included in the packages. And that was years ago. I have not talked to her in a few years.

Great report! I'm arriving in early September; staying at Areca Lodge first time. We used to stay at LK Empress on Beach Road, but as well noted, not much action on Beach or Second Road these days. We've concentrated on the LK Metro area for several years now. Billabong in the past had some great older freelancers and Sugar-Sugar had the hottest girls, IMHO.

We may go to WS once in the whole stay. Soi Pothole looks like my kind of Soi; small, seedy bars. Tree Town looks a little too bright and glitzy, but we'll give it a walk, I'm sure. Soi 6 is always an adventure, but can be pricy. Buy one girl a drink and before you know it, you've bought all the girls drinks.

One area that was not covered is "Soi Boomerang". What is the vibe there? Looks to be mostly "Club" type venues with only a few outdoor bars.

You're smart to stay at Areca Lodge. It's right near Buakhow but still with easy access to 2nd Road. The LK Empress is a nice enough place, and you can't beat the view, but it's just too far from the action these days and you'll spend all your time walking. LK Empress also has a lot of families / couples, which I try to avoid.

There's actually more to Tree Town than just Tree Town. I recommend walking through the main area to the bar complexes "past Tree Town". Once you get away from the craziness of the main complex on Buakhow, there are many smaller bars / complexes to choose from. Just take a stroll to see what you see. If you find someone you like, stop in for a beer. Bar fines from these bars are very reasonable (I pulled from Lai's Bar in April) and are close enough to Areca Lodge that you'll have nice easy logistics. There is even, I believe, a G-Club in the "behind Tree Town" section although I've not yet visited.

As for Soi Boomerang, it was mainly closed in April but it's open now. You're correct in that it's mainly G-Clubs. I visited on my last trip and lots of girls out front at most places. I stopped in at one G-Club (can't remember the name) at the end of the soi on the left, just before you go around the corner. Nice place, brand new interior, good selection of women but not as hands one as G-Clubs on Soi Pothole and drinks were more. So, if you see someone, pull them inside for one drink and then either head upstairs or move on. I made the mistake of buying too many LDs without taking the girl ST. There's also one beer bar that's open-air on the corner ("Warm Up" bar or something like that) where you can have a beer, chill, and view the talent on the soi. Next time, I'll take that approach until I see someone I like.

Went over to Koh Larn today. Took a TF girl with me and gave her 500 Baht to spend the whole day with me.

Lovely experience. I don't get the complaints regarding Koh Larn. The water at Tien Beach was breathtaking, crystal clear. Not to many tourists on the island, all the Indians go to Taewan Beach, hordes of them there. Tien and Samae had very little people.

Motorbike rental for only 200 baht. Ferry each way only 30 baht.

Overall, such a cheap and awesome way to spend the day.

I plan to go back in a few days, this time by myself and explore the little island more.

A lot more than that were open in June, last Christmas was dire.

Walking Street-about 50%+ of pre-covid experience, mostly Indian men with a representation of Europeans.

There is a policy at Maggie Mays that if you buy a lady 4 tequilas, she has to get naked. I had forgotten about it, until the ladies with me got naked. And then the other ladies followed suit.

I've used taxis to and from Pattaya to the airport and back...

Taxis, downstairs at the Airport, you should easily be able to catch and pay one 1500 baht, they might start talking about charging extra per bag and toll, the toll is only 105 baht.

Taxi's to Pattaya are fast and convenient, I always use https://www.namstaxiladydrivers.com as they are very professional and careful drivers. You book ahead and about 24 hours before, you get an email with the name of your driver and pickup location. Their prices have dropped recently, only 1400 including tolls for the largest vehicle between the airport and Pattaya, I throw in an extra 1000 as the service is so reliable and that was their regular price.

I had the opportunity to return to Thailand in Mid-May until Mid-June of 2022 after all the Testing restrictions were cancelled, just prior to the operating hour changes (which meant very little) were abandoned. Over the years I have been to Thailand 8 times (1974-2019) so I have familiarity with the country and my last few trips have been predominantly to Pattaya / Jomtien. I am American, just retired business type which allowed me to have an extended stay.

I have read the Forum daily for years- finding it quite informative and a good guide from especially those on the ground living in Pattaya. Based on information gleaned from the Forum I have traveled as a Tourist who enjoys ladies, not a monger.

Therefore, this Report may be helpful to Newbies, and it is also an update for future and experienced travelers.

Highly informative and detailed report sir. How was your personal experience on Thai friendly girls vs freelancers vs bar girls? Never stayed in Jomtien. Now got the inspiration. Do we get freelancers easily in Jomtien area?
