Yes, being naked seems to be a reasonable line of demarcation for a girl I meet somewhere and then bring to my hotel.

What about the case where you meet someone online and she travels to your hotel but does not please you? I've only done this a couple of times in Thailand and I was pleased as soon as I met her in the hotel lobby. I don't know how I would react if a different girl showed up or if her appearance was a major downgrade from online pictures. Attitude also enters into the equation.

If she left without payment and didn't speak up, she can claim she was intimidated, I lied, and so on. If she accepted the token sum without complaining, then it's clear that ends any obligations towards each other, for better or worse. She might be unhappy, but clearly I was unhappy too, and we split the difference.

While you are waiting for the Pattaya bars to reopen, consider a quick trip to Phnom Penh. Visa easy to get, no quarantine for vaccinated travellers and a god bar scene now.

I can confirm that 90% of the girly bars are open in Phnom Penh. The official full open date is 1st December but most of the bars are open already. Plenty of girls around, with more arriving daily from their provinces. ST and LT prices very negotiable with the girls keen to meet guys. Streets 130 and 136 still have the highest concentration of bars, with streets 104,110, 118 and 5 also having some open bars. Drinks prices are reasonable. Draft beer $1. 50, spirits $3. 75, ladydrinks $3. 50-$4. Local hotels doing some amazing deals as well.

I usually give them some money too, when the service was below par. How much I give depends on the girl, the situation and the service that was (not) provided. If I know there could be a pimp around, I give the full amount.
All of the 'service' that this girl gave me was a lousy hand job. I could have consired the barely allowed DATY as 'service' as well, but I was just too angry.

So after about 5 minutes I gave up and kicked her out. She was even that bad that I didn't give her any money. The second girl in over 15 years of coming to Thailand that I have kicked out without any money, as far as I can recall.

About 5 years ago a non working girl was hanging with her working girlfriends at a Samui bar. We got to enjoy talking with each other and we made arrangement for her “first ever” visit to a farang's hotel. The 5 minute walk to my room was done in total silence. Very quick shower together and then to bed. She stiffened up like a board. She rolled away when I touched her and she never initiated touching. After about 5 minutes I said something like "If you don't want to be here, you can leave." She got out of bed, dressed, and was quickly out the door without any money. After about 5 minutes I started to feel guilty and went back to the bar where she was sitting alone. I gave her a few baht, maybe 200 or 300 baht. She politely thanked me.

Actually, the 285 baht breakfast buffet at Casa Pascal is five percent less expensive than the 300 baht one at the LK Empress. But as I noted in my original post that's not going to break any of us. At the risk of being pedantic, anybody who is numerate knows it's all about the baseline. Five percent off a 300 baht breakfast buffet is meaningless. Five percent off a thirty million baht condo would probably be significant for most of us. But for Elon Musk, not so much.

Despite the fact that there are a lot of girls in Thai Friendly at the moment, it's not that easy to pick the good ones. I've had five girls this week here in Pattaya, and only two of them have not disappointed me. Today's girl and a 35 yo that I did not write about.

I'm going back to BKK tomorrow. Pattaya is just too depressing. I've attached some random pictures that I took this afternoon in Soi 6, 7 and 8. I think you'll get the picture why this town is so depressing now.

I'm planning on taking a trip to Thailand for the first time for New Years. I understand that there's still some uncertainty on the nightlife with COVID but I can't sit here and not travel after a year and a half. I would really appreciate some tips and tricks on places to go, where to drink, and what to look out for, especially with the COVID restrictions. If anyone wants to personally message me on here with some recommendations it would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully everything works out and we can have an awesome trip.
