The sense of Pattaya I have gotten after reading your reports is that it is not worthwhile to visit during high season, so in a way I am happy that I never planned any of my trips in high season (perhaps Jan end will be the only exception).

After my first trip to Pattaya which was, like you, a very short one, I decided that in the future and to properly see all aspects of this town, 1 week minimum is required. I am sure you will have much better luck on future trips. Cheers and thanks for the reports.

Yes you paid too much and IMO it was due to a combination of factors: you're a newbie, it was Christmas time and the beer bars near the entrance of Walking Street are a tourist trap.
But the girl was OK and you had a good time and that is what matters in the end so what the hell.

Don't worry, we've all gone through that stage and we've all learned from it. After a couple of visits to Pattaya you'll get to know the drill. You've only scratched the surface a little bit this time.

Good news! The Coconut Bar is back in business. The stalls are gone and the girls are back at work.

My regular wanted to go out dancing tonight and I was way too pooped for another long night after NYE so a window of opportunity opened up after we parted after dinner for me to check out BR.

A good number of places on Soy 6-1 are actually back entrances for the places on Soy 6 which I toured a few times both day and night. The many rough & ready bar girls were not a bit to my liking.

I go to bed early so never surveyed the streetwalkers on Beach Road nor visited the Walking Street. While not a disappointment I am highly unlikely to every return to Pattaya because overall it is not my scene since I far prefer spending my P4 P money at soapies.

Agreed that Pattaya has a weaker soapy / oily scene when compared to Bangkok. For me the strengths are:

The laid back beach vibe.

Less expensive everything.

The Walking Street experience.

FL hunting on beach road.

Visited soapies Rasputin and Honey 2. Both featured a good assortment of older looking ladies which I am not attracted to. Sabai had by far the best selection of mostly younger girls at 2 K and 2. 4 K. I had one wild session there and one not so good. The second one refused light fingering and any form of sucking me or pussy licking, so I quickly ended the session and left without complaining to management. It is too bad because she was an otherwise nice girl with a good body who unfortunately has chosen the wrong profession. December 28 (Day 6: Sunday)

Few thoughts to mind from my first pattaya visit. Lot of quantity available in all bars but quality is definitely missing. Don't know if we were looking in the right places. We ended up at walking street all 3 nights and also in the simon cluster of bars eventually. Insomnia seems to be a good disco to pick up girls. Saw some quality girls here. Not much happening elsewhere for me or rather we haven't experienced it yet..

December 28 (Day 6: Sunday)

Got up at 11 am by a call from reception confirming checkout. Buddy got it extended to 1 pm. I got busy with Fon as she was back from bathroom and looked extremely inviting, couldn't pass up the opportunity as this was going to be last time in this trip. We made real good love, was really happy and satiated after this session. She went to take a shower meanwhile I packed up. I have a trip scheduled to Manila and Angeles city in April. I don't want to give up on this city so easily basis my first trip and would definitely want to visit once before I decide on this city. I now like Bangkok post my second visit and love to spend time there. I wish there were some open cluster bars like Pattaya in Bangkok as it would have made traveling here for me completely avoidable.

December 27 (Day 5: Saturday)

Got up at 2 pm and went to Sailor Bar for breakfast, 2 minutes walk from hotel. Decent English breakfast for 65 baht with 2 Toast, 2 Ham strips, 1 strip of bacon, 1 pork sausage, 2 eggs either sunny side up or srambled or boiled, cup of coffee and small goblet of fresh orange juice. 3 different combinations depending on type of eggs wanted. It definitely dosent get any cheaper than this I thought. We additionally ordered bowl of mashed potatoes and fries. Amazingly cheap and good and breakfast and best part is that it is available till 3 pm. Went back and chatted up for some time in room.

We ventured out again at 4 pm. I wanted to check out a gentleman club so located and got ourselves to M club. Place had 5/6 guys and 4 girls including bar hostess. I thought maybe girls must be resting inside and might come out. We got our beers and 1 girl came and stood beside us. Two were busy with other gentleman. I asked her if there were other girls. She replied that some had gone out with customers and few had called in sick and she was the only one available. Houston we have a problem I said to myself. Finished out beer and walked out. Thought we might walkup to Devils Den and check if something is available.

As we walked through Soi Dana I was scanning the bars. It was a repeat of last night wherein average talent available everywhere. All the good looking girls seem to be already in company of men. Not many good looking girls overall. We walked into Soi LK metro, gogos were almost empty and not many coyotes around. Music was playing loud everywhere though. We decided to get back and check the bars in Soi 7 and at the corner of Soi 8. Sat in few and had beers but same problem, dearth of good looking girls. Mostly mature talent. We definitely were not looking at the right places.

We decided to head back to walking street. Checked Beer garden during entry and place seemed almost empty with few people scattered across. As we continued our walk I got a txt on my phone. It seems Fon had spotted me and wanted me to come to her bar. I was wondering how could have she seen me from her bar as her bar is almost second last from the sea front and there must be 5/6 bars in between from the street. All she could have seen must have been my back while walking amongst so many people. I txt her back saying later and continued on. The FL scene also didn't look too promising.

We had walked upto Mixx and back and were really bugged by the massage card holders. We then decided to head back to Simon 2 and explore bars there. We walked in and took a good look, Fon was waving to me from her bar and I waved her back saying later with my hands. My buddy spotted a girl and sat down. I headed to the toilet and then walked back out leaving him there to fix his girl. I walked upto walking street gate checking for some FLs. Some decent but none to be taken back to hotel. As we walked we could see cluster of women standing on the opposite side of beach front so we crossed road. We continued towards soi 8 and kept our eyes open for a potential ST if not LT. Not much happening, quantity was too low forget the quality. We went back to hotel. Saw few one-liners and bye txt from Fon had arrived on phone, seems she had given up on me. First day without any sex for me in LOS.

December 25 (Day 3: Thursday) Merry Christmas

This was my first visit to pattaya hence was hoping for a lot. We reached at around 2. 30 pm thanks to the traffic getting out of Bangkok and while coming into pattaya through the central road. Paid driver 1200 baht and a good tip for the extra hour we made him wait in the Manhattan parking. He asked us whether we were going to need a cab back on Sunday to airport and gave us his no. He asked us to message / call him a day earlier. We checked into the Sunshine Hotel and Residence on Soi 8 in the heart of the action. This would be our base for the next 4 days. I could see some women leaving the hotel almost sleepy, must have been the LTs of earlier night I guessed, got me smiling. We got some food in the room, decent I must say and settled in.

We took a walk towards Soi 6 at 4 pm as it seemed to a place to find some girls during daytime. Walked across soi 7 onto central pattaya road. Most of the street bars were closed as we walked into the soi, not much crowd but there were some girls doing cat calls. New phenomenon for me, slightly confused where to look. Crowd seemed to be pretty average, kept walking and looking at either side but found nothing interesting till the street end of beach road. Smoked and turned back, wanted to have a second look. I walked slowly this time having a fair amount of visual at each passing bar, had few names picked up from one of Nattys post, tried to locate them while walking, did eventually but no girl to my liking so moved on from there. Guessed I would need my beer goggles to be able to spend time with the girls available there. An advise, Kindly do not venture into the parallel Soi 6/1 if LBs are not your interest. We accidently did to check if there were other bars and had few LBs surrounded us in no time as we were walking. They got hold of our balls in no time. We managed to get out of the situation amicably but it could have gone bad easily. We got back and took a nap.

Evening plan was to check out Walking Street first, had few shots of JD and walked towards beach road. Past 9 pm now and most of the street bars had sprung into action. Could see some decent girls in few bars. Surprisingly the cluster of bars on corner of Soi 8 were almost full due to Christmas celebrations all around, some good girls as well. My whisky goggles were now working perfectly. We decided to get baht bus but the entire street was jammed. Decided to walk as it didn't seem much of a distance to walking street. As we entered we were held up by a big crowd of Chinese tourists who were assembling at the entrance to start their tour. Made our way through and started the walk. This place indeed has the best sounding rock music on the entire street. Sound was indeed good. I wanted to take a walk of the entire street, register places and then take a call on where to enter. We listened to few songs and decided to move on as I intended to pick up a girl before choices started reducing. We walked the entire street till Mixx disco, registered all gogos and go-gos along the street. Also marked the discos which would be an option if required later on.

We walked back till the beginning of walking street and then decided to get into Simon, the first one while coming from walking street herein referred as Simon1 as I ended up in these bars almost all nights. My buddy had a favourite bar here which was the last bar to the right after the toilets. As we walked in all I could hear were hands waving and loud cat calls from stalls as we passed by. I was slightly shy, never in my life had so many girls look at me forget waving and inviting, was getting a kick out of this. I loved pattaya at this moment and was the best place in the world for me. So much that I didn't even scan the girls. Actually it was very difficult as with so many girls looking and calling at the same time made me nervous. As we walked in the cat calls thinned, some girls at few bars didn't even wave or call, I was surprised but continued till we reached end of the cluster and settled down in the last bar to the right. Mamasan came and greeted us & joked around with my buddy and said that "business was slow". My buddy said that her answer remains same for 365 days and we all three had a good laugh. I had a good look at the girls she had. I think I am too picky or fussy when it comes to choosing girls, didn't like even one of them, neither did my buddy. I had a good look around and found that crowd was more or less average and slightly heavy, couldn't see any slender gazelles. Thoughts in my mind, maybe we were late, maybe this is how the talent is here, had Bangkok raised my expectations. I had a good scan of almost 4/5 bars and scene was the same. Decided not to get into names as I just couldn't remember all. They had a small signage on the back or in some odd place.

We decided to move on to Simon 2 but as we were walking out the bars near the entrance seemed to have some good crowd. In between me and buddy were chatting. He then explained to me which bars we were welcome in and which we weren't basis of the cat calls. I ordered for another beer. I thought and offered her 4000 as final for LT. She agreed with a smile and I knew she had nailed me, will never forget that smile of hers.
