I have been to Pattaya a number of times over the past 3 years, but their is something I am not too sure about. What is the deal with the Russian girls that wonder up and down Walking Street? Are these girls working girls and if so how can you tell? Has anybody had any experience with them?

Airport gogo used to be one of the best, I guess its dipping as reported by many. May be on a given day, it could turn out lucky for some punters.

Never seen an LB in go go, but not sure what all could happen in Pattaya. This is Thailand. LOL.

Better price for a street walker would be the rate at which she gets a customer (read demand and supply), and in no way is 2000ST justifiable for a SW.

If you want to know what is the going group rate why not try and approach a group of Indians on beach road, they will be happy to explain it to you (or can we only take racist pot shots on a virtual forum or indulge in bizzarre generalisations).

I 100% agree with you on airport. That place used to be so much fun! Now I don't even bother going in. As for Casnovy, I have to admit I always thought it was a LB bar (though I never went inside). Although Airport has indeed gone down a bit it's still one of the better agogo's in my experience.
I didn't like Casnovy although I admit I have only been there once. Not a good line up at that moment and the rotation of the girls on stage was way to low.

Anyway, it's all a matter of being at the right place at the right time. If you go to an agogo early in the evening, say 8 PM, you might see a terrific line up because all the girls are still there. If you go to the same agogo around 10 or 11 PM the best looking girls might be barfined and the remaining line up is poor. So never judge a gogo based on one visit only.

And as for LBs: except for one time in the Rhino Agogo I have never seen a LB in any agogo in Pattaya. Not on stage as a dancer anyway. Sometimes there's a LB 'waitress' but that's all I've seen.
But I could be wrong. We all know how they can fool you.

Great report Ryo. The video brought back good memories. I was up on the 16th floor bar at the Hilton for NYE with my regular. It was nice to also see some video of what things were like down at the pier during the fireworks show. Good times!

LOL that's harsh. While I saw several Indians approach the people of plastic, it was mostly the Arabs (perhaps Turks) who picked them up for boom. Didn't see any Asians or Indians actually pick them.

Its good to hear that some working girls are jealous of the fact that some Indians prefer taking LBs over regular street walkers, perhaps that won't be the case if they were willing to accept a better price. Who knows?

AIRPORT CLUB
In such a small place sometimes its just a matter of timing, but the quality of the girls has gone downhill compared to my two previous trips.

ALCATRAZ
Once again totally baffled by its lack of girls on stage and around: venue wise it would seem to have a lot of potential. Picked one here (very late into the night) at 1,500+3,000 long-time.

BACCARA
Still rocking, even more of a Japanese hunting ground, to the point of putting westerners off, but pretty, long legged, toned beauties in amazing numbers.

CASNOVY
Hot girls, high but not crazy prices, super cool mamasan, and the bar with the best layout . Picked one here at the very strange price of 2,500+2,500 baht, Im not sure if it was some kind of special agreement due to my good standing with the mamasan, and I didnt ask. The total was in the Happy/Baccara range so within my self-imposed spending limits.

FAHRENHEIT
Middle of the road, one of those venues where either you bump into the right girl or you leave after 10 minutes.

GINZA
Small and narrow: poor layout and quite uncomfortable seating.

GLASSHOUSE
Very hot girls, but the most expensive gogo of them all: 3 days before New Year I was quoted 2.000 for bar-fine and 8.000 for long-time.

HAPPY
Third time in Pattaya and third time I selected a girl from this gogo: in my humble opinion it strikes the best balance of venue layout, girls beauty, girls attention to customers, quality of sex service, and price. Always unfailingly packed. Paid 1,500 (I think) + 4,000 long time.

MANDARIN
A very small bar, and the below average ladies coupled with their resigned body language made it my least favorite gogo of this trip.

SENSATIONS
Super hot girls, and I liked the way it was run by the military minded mamasans, but too expensive for my pockets.

SPANKYS
Not enough customers, not enough pretty girls.

SUPER BABY
At the time of my only visit every single stool around the stage was empty.

THE MOON CLUB
During my last visit it had barely open and I liked it immensely, but this time around it lacked quality girls, patrons, and therefore any kind of atmosphere.

As fun as ever, especially between 7 and 10pm.
I can confirm the 1.000 + 300 baht fixed prices, which, if you find what youre looking for, even with the increased price its still a bargain for roughly one hour of fun with a motivated girl.
Appearance-wise, anyone whos been there at least once knows you do not hunt for beauty: if in your book shes a 6,5/10 its more than enough.
Language-wise, if she can understand the question whats your name? its more than enough.
So what should you look for? Whatever might not be on offer with a gogo girl, namely deepthroat, anal, cim whatever kinky practice (without going into Devils Den territory) rocks your boat.

As per my previous experiences, a good time will be had if you show up with some plan of what you want to do and/or be done to you.
This time my ladies, booked in advance, were Cory (an incredibly hard pair of gluteus muscles, like stone really) and Cake (tireless in her bj pumping action).
The price for the standard 1,5 hours has gone up 400 baht, from 3,600 to 4,000. I tipped them both 200, I think.

The venues, being generally newer than their Walking St counterparts, are nicer looking, the average quality of the girls is about the same, but compared to Walking St there are in my opinion two downsides:
- no bar with top quality girls
- being (still) limited in number, you can do all the gogos in one evening
Also, some of us prefer the relative quiet and discretion of this area compared to WS, but in my case the first is a negative and the second I dont care about.
Still, I selected one lady at 1,500+4,000 long time.


HOTEL

My trusted Mercure was fully booked, so after a some research I opted for Baywalk Residence, which:
- is girlfriendly
- is located on the Beach Road, close enough to Walking St that theres no need of transportation
- has an in-room private safe and wi-fi
- has staff that answered very quickly to my mails at the time of booking.

I don't understand why there is so much going on about Indians. I have had the best of the time in Pattaya despite being the traditionally un-gifted one as perceived by most in the forum. I have never needed another man to score with the best of the chicks. Insomnia and Mixx were familiar hunting grounds and I haven't returned empty handed, ever! You see regulars just outside P72 behind the police table, then further down past Sweethearts is the Roo bar (a few good lookers in there too) you have another set of FL.

My observation is the opposite from yours that they only go with Asians. They seem to go more with the Arabs and particularly with the Indians. Not sure Indians are consider Asians? In the past, i use to park my bike on Beach road and walk just to see what is available. What I generally saw was although many to choice from it seem the Indians would always pick the LadyBoys. I once saw the expression on a few girls like they were jealous they weren't getting picked.
I just came away thinking that Indians genetics might have some sugar in their tanks which I know isn't true.

These girls pretty much shun all non -Asian punters. When they do see Asian guys they go crazy trying to wave them over.

They are very young looking and not a whole lot of hints that they are LBs (Adam's apple etc.) Also not outrageously feminine like the LBs that hang out down the road opposite I-bar.

In fact I'm still not 100% sure they are LBs.

Admittedly this observation is mostly form August, But I do remember passing them in January too on my way to I-bar.

The location of OZO is OK. Bars on Second Road and LK Metro are at walking distance. Walking Street is a bit further away but not really far, you can either walk all the way (15 min.) or walk to Beach Road and take a bath bus from there.

If you print out the hotel's address, preferably in Thai, then it shouldn't be too difficult to find. Try to find a driver from Pattaya in the arrival hall who has just dropped of a customer. He will be happy to drive you for about 1000 to 1200 bath. But please negotiate and ask if the highway tolls are included or not!

Alternatively you can arrange a taxi in advance. There are several email addresses mentioned on this forum of reliable drivers.

Thanks for the tip Mogwai. I'll look for a driver from Pattaya. I also see that you are in Phnom Penh. After 10 days in Pattaya I am heading there as well next month for a few days.

Really excited for this trip. My only mongering experience has been Sosua which is really such a small area. Pattaya has so many streets and venues it seems like a daunting task to take it all in.

Didn't mean to be harsh sorry! You are correct I do see more Arabs than the Indians particularly on W. S. And honestly I haven't been on Beach road for some time. But when I did I saw lots of Indians negotiating with the LB'S, plus many of the stories or robberies in Pattaya were reported by Indians being drugged and robbed in their hotels by them. Haven't read any lately on the local expats papers.

I use the walk way that is right where P72, is located, if you walk up that Soi which leads to 2nd Road, there is the White Rose 1&2, I see lots of Indians staying here going in and out with LB and regular FL.
