Concur what has been stated about Beach road, I think the key to take out from Beach Road is hotel location. I normally stay in Soi 6 which is quite some distance to cover either on foot and the hassle of always having to use transport. As has been mentioned, if one shops the Beach Road this can be an exhausting having to move between shopping point and hotel.

Why would hotel location matter? One should never bring a girl back to one's own sleeping room (use short time rooms), and one should always rent a motorbike when in Pattaya (only 100-200 baht per day, an incredible value).

How was the quality on Beach Road? I hit Beach Road 2-3 times in December, and there was absolutely nothing worthwhile. Just a bunch of skanks

Yes, I just have sex with skanks, to be honest. Anything else is out of my price range in Thailand (and anyway non-skanks won't do any kinds of good service).

Therefor, my next trip I am contemplating getting a hotel located in Soi 13/1, which will be closer to where the girls are, I'm pretty sure this will give me more time and subsequently, choice. This will insure a short walk with one's darling to the love nest. Short of staying in PS Guesthouse, LOL, would any of you seasoned gents know of a comfortable hotel on this charming Soi 13/1? I have trolled the hotel thread some pages back to no avail, perhaps one has to search deeper.

You will find most girls congregated at the junction, beach side, enabling the use of PS Guesthouse, a very short walk. This is the thick of the action, with a pretty short stroll to walking st.

Noble guesthouse is good. Get a room facing away from the street with a balcony.

I just stayed at Inn House on Soi 13. Easy walk to the BR action. This hotel is about 10 years old and a bit overpriced at 1700 on Asia Rooms. I used to stay there for 800 baht. No breakfast included. Internet mostly good but not always. Did borrow a hot water pot for my morning coffee in the room. Easy to walk to Soi Metro so it's a good location. Next time I'd perhaps stay in the Metro area instead for better value and 5 more minutes of walk.

I also used to stay at SA Guesthouse on 13/1 for 400 baht including breakfast. It was an ok clean basic room but that too was 10 years ago. No net back then. You might just walk in and inquire there depending on your tolerance for good but "no frills". No lift. But it's only 4 flights total.

I have stayed at Dynasty Inn soi 13. It's close to 2nd Road and not much of a walk to Beach Road.

Thanks to you too. Lucky I'm always nice to the girls this why manyby I have always a good time with them, and I'm not old and not a fatty one. So I can't wait to try it out how it was for me.

Once they figure you out though, what you like, and are looking for, you will get what you want with only minor encouragement.

The girls there act like a bunch of sisters with each other and the owner makes sure of that for business reasons. You might notice the owner, French European from Cannes (I think) who likes to sit closest to the kitchen. He was there most every night I was there and he watches the bar to make sure the patrons have had a good time.

I should also say that this place is not an exception to the YMMV concept. Everywhere in the world, more attractive guys have much easier time than guys who are sick-looking overweight and ugly or have no manners / respect with the girls. Those are the guys who will report about how their experience sucked and they had a bad time or felt like they were being ripped off.

Where in the western world yo can get a LT for $150. 00 Canadian? We can dispute about stunners as judgements are often subjective and performance cannot be rated before hand. It can only be afterwards and can result into a repeat or not.

But 150. 00 $ for a long time is nothing you can get outside of certain SEA countries, or a few southamerican ones.

Last time I shopped the Beach was at the end of 2012. I found 19 and 20 year olds all 4 times I tried over a two month period, but I had to put a ton of leg work in.

That was fine for me, I don't mind walking around for an hour or two (hate sitting in a bar on the other hand). There were always some diamonds in the rough up until early 2013. And then for a few months something if I looked for long enough and hit the right time window. Then, this past December, nothing. Not even a decent number of old hags.

At the same price range you could try the massage parlors on Chaiyapoon. Low end places but you can find girls of equal quality to what you usually find on the beach and you don't have to pay for a room. Shouldn't be more than 700 all in. Sometimes even less. I've also gone all in for similar prices on Soi Honey at the small massage shops during off hours. Beware that you might hear a guy a few tables over getting his shots in though.

Thanks, I'll try some of those. Do you know if the massage girls are available for take-out? I like the option to take the girl to my hotel (for a proper shower and leisurely session, increasing the chance of GFE). Hate doing it on their premises, especially under the cover of a massage, which usually ends up being neither good massage nor decent sex (quickie, hush-hush, don't get too loud, everything up to them, not me).

so i enjoy sitting & talking at the bar with another patron. this makes the girls feel like you are ignoring them, which they "don't" like. to get your attention back, one will weasel around and soon enough be deep throating you right there on the bar chair, trying to keep you from chatting further. note: if you allow her to do this, you will have to pay her once she is finished. you can either let her finish you there or retire to the couch where it is more comfortable. even if you go behind the curtain, it is what, less than $10 usd?

Time window when fair amount of talent also got reduced, from 3pm-2am to roughly 8pm-11pm last year (maybe a few hours longer if police doesn't come through). Then, they have that awful market.

I'm almost ready to declare the Beach Road dead for good (for me) , but maybe it will bounce back. Any thoughts? Are there any other alternatives in the 500-700 baht range in Pattaya (I know Soi 6, but that's a zoo, and ends up 1000+).

I'm not cheap by any stretch, but in my humble opinion, those of you paying in excess of $100 for a date (in any capacity) might just as well stay home and pay for high priced services where you're at. Thailand is known for much more then bargirls and sex, but honestly, let's be real, we go there #1 reason is for sexual experiences. Paying the same you can find it in Western world is just silly.

When I was in Thailand in 1997, I did a good long stint in Bangkok and Pattaya and had trouble spending more then $50 USD on any date, with most running around $30 USD.

So unless the talent has completely dried up, there is no reason for this pricing increase aside from willing mongers who want to overpay. Overpaying in my opinion gets you less respect and does not equal better service. You see in Thailand, better service happens from good chemistry, making the girls comfortable, making them laugh, being playful, loose and free. That's how you get great service out of the women there.
