My recent online communications have revealed girls with no English language skills. From your response I take it that they are in the minority. If this is so then that is good news for me as in my next visit, whenever that may be, I intend to travel beyond Bangkok, Pattaya and other touristy areas.
BTW the girls I am communicating with now are not on dating sites but from email addresses given to me via facebook by a friend of a Thai woman I met on DIA who I had relations with. I can't have a skype or whatsapp conversation with them.

Ah, then the Thai girls you have been introduced to by a friend via emails and such might very well have near zero or no English skills. This post does harbor the grain of truth. I met a girl few weeks back in Pattaya. She had beautiful natural tits but rather flat ass. You are probably better off heading home. The Coronavirus crisis will go on for a month minimum. Many people are having problems getting back to the US. The other problem is that if the govt imposes a mandatory lock down. Then you will be stuck in your hotel room & having to pay for room at the same time. Some people are even having to pay extra to find a flight back to the US. The other issue is health care & insurance. My guess is that there would be a much higher co-pay if you were in a foreign hospital.

Why would I run to where there is literally 100 times more virus? Duh. Healthcare is cheap here as long as you do not spend the night in the hospital. You can always get a normal cheap 500 baht/day room or 6000 baht/month. You don't have to ball out at the Hilton for 30 days.

I live in hotels, no rental. I begin to see restaurants and malls shuttering down or closing early, buffet breakfasts in hotels getting thinner. Does this only reflect a lack of business or is it a prelude to a generalised shortage?

I'm in two minds as to whether to wait this out in Pat or to head for the beaches by bus (Ko Chang, Ko Kood). The risk of getting infected should be less on a remote island but will the food supply chain be maintained that far?

Health care is available in Pattaya but I'm not counting on that to save my ass if I get seriously ill. If people start dropping like flies the locals will be prioritised. It is more food and shelter I'm worried about.

Would heading for the beaches be foolish at this juncture?

Sorry to have gotten you in a tizzy. I'm not in Pattaya now, LOL. I'm holed up in my residence here in the good old USA green with envy of you guys in Patts getting all that p...y. I posted my question in the Pattaya section as it is the one with the most Thai activity on ISG. I imagine that the girls in Pattaya are more English proficient than others.
