Apparently it is legal for customers to be seated upstairs (as opposed to on the ground floor). Viruses are not supposed to climb stairs. I had the feeling that most of their education on hygiene comes from their social media accounts (at least for the girls), I see them constantly sharing some weird stuff recommended for treatment of cancers or many other health issues or skin diseases.

This is a tough call? It's not that uncommon. Few times in past when I'm lying down and girl is sucking me and I can't come. The chart you posted says 36 cases in Chonburi province, NOT Pattaya. That is not just Bang Lamung (of which Pattaya is a part), but also Sattahip, Laem Chabang, Muang (town) Chonburi, Si Racha, etc.

It's been a while (maybe 10 days) since I saw separate numbers for the various districts, at which time most Chonburi province cases were directly linked to the Lumpini Boxing stadium cluster and there was very little Pattaya related. One Belgian chap had spent an evening at a beer bar on Beach Road Soi 8 and was later diagnosed in Rayong Province (and so is counted as a Rayong case, not Chonburi - "finders keepers" so it seems) .

A couple of days ago there was a list published of places where people with Covid 19 had visited, fellow visitors being told that they should self isolate for 14 days https://thepattayanews.com/2020/03/2...lf-quarantine/ . Of note is "Beer bars on Pattaya Soi 6 from 24-Feb to 26-Mar". Who would I be to point out that more than half that period is over 14 days ago? One also assumes it is Beach Road Soi 6 (other Soi 6's do exist).

The bottom line is that it's here but appears to be at low levels. Appearances can be deceptive, mind.

But it still makes me confuse how numbers got so huge in Italy, which has huge amount of Chinese labour which returned from China after Chinese new year. But Chinese were also visiting Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia before travel bans but still numbers of positive cases in SE asia are surprisingly low. Could it be that immunity of Asians is stronger than Europeans?

I do not know a Thai girl who has been officially diagnosed with COVID but I do know a former Soi 6 girl who lives just outside of Bangkok now who was very sick from March 15 to March 28, per her Facebook. When she felt well enough to go out she was all over Bangkok yesterday. Did she have COVID and was never diagnosed? Possibly. Would she have went outside if she were physically capable of doing so over those 13 days? Absolutely.

I don't know of anyone who fits that description.

Moreover, I see the same homeless and handicapped beggars sitting in the same spots with money landing in their cups that they must remove and count at some points several times a day. Money that must have been passing through hands, pockets, in and out of purses and wallets of every possible ethnic and racial group of tourists from all over the world for months now. And they don't seem to be the least bit slowed down by a serious, crippling malady requiring hospitalization or even a night off from the job.

And we're talking about people who start out with more compromised health and fitness issues than most anyone reading this. None of them wear masks, gloves or wipe anything off with a disinfectant before handling it or the food they buy with the money.

No, but I have a Thai friend in Italy who's close friend died from pneumonia shortly after being found positive for COVID-19. Obviously, Thailand is not as bad as Italy, but ignoring the problem could make things very bad in Thailand.

I don’t know of any scientifically supported data, but it is still possible that the hot temperatures of Thailand will lessen transmission of the virus.
