So you were on 2nd road across from Central Marina and took a motorbike taxi to WS for 50 baht? It's like being on the back end of the Soi 6 bars and then too lazy to walk to the beach side Soi 6 bars to take a 10 baht bus. You saved 50 baht but paid an extra 40.
LOL, best comment I've seen in sometime. That 40 extra baht paid is a coffee. At least that's how I look at it.

When I went to Pattaya several years ago, there were indeed Russian girls working there. Also in Phuket. Many were dancers in strip clubs. Some of them were available for takeout, but only at crazy stupid money that I wasn't about to pay (don't recall the amount exactly but it was too much). But watch out because others worked in bars where all they wanted a monger to do was buy expensive lady drinks for the pleasure of their company. If I wanted to fuck a Ruskie (I do and I have), then I would go to some other part of the world with better Ruskie talent. Places like western Europe and Dubai. And in Thailand, I would just fuck cute Thai girls at much more favorable prices hehe!

You mean those rip off places that cater to people that aren't used to being around White people? I recently saw one new place open on Walking Street. If you search reports I think some poster mentioned going with one of those chicks for like $150 short time and a horrible session. But the point of those places is to get you to buy overpriced drinks for you and the girls. You have to be lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) to get a chick out of there for sex.

I booked a bolt for 40 baht. Wouldn't you know it? He looks at his phone (Bolt alert), looks at me and smiles. He drops me off at WS and I tip 10 baht.

I have a journey at the end of the month that takes me all over the place, don't try this at home:
Day 30 - August 1: Udon Thani with lady friend.
Day 1 - 3: Singapore with same lady friend.
Day 3 - 5: Send lady friend home to Thailand, 2 more ladies fly to Singapore from Thailand.
Day 5: return to Bangkok, spend one night with Cambodian lady.
Day 6: fly to Khon Kaen, spend the night in a rural hotel with lady friend #1 and another lady we both know. The friend goes crazy when she is drunk for lady friend #1, can't get enough of her ass. Cambodia lady goes to her nearby village.
Day 7: spend the day in the village of lady friend #1. Document needed repairs of her house for her Thai husband to fix. Cambodia lady stays with me in the rural hotel.
Day 8: fly back to BKK with 2 ladies.
The big question is how to do laundry for this trip.
The trick here is to find ladies who won't have an attitude if I switch them out for another lady. If you try some variation of this, be careful, some ladies will be irate if they have to share a customer.
Tomorrow, I go to Phuket with a bargirl.

He probably would prefer taking up your 40 baht booking at accepting 100 baht outright.

I hit the bars in Pattaya last night. Loads of ladies, but the bars are empty. This is Low Season on steroids. Fortunately for the ladies, customers will return in September, but August is going to be very slow for the bars.
Soi Chaiyapoon has a ridiculous number of new bars, but inside maybe one or zero customers.

The food court at the top of Terminal 21 is also pretty good and prices are about the same as street food (about 40-50 baht) with lots of variety. If you like ribs, I highly recommend Beefeater. They have AYCE ribs on Sat and Sundays for a little over 300 baht. Sukishi in Central Pattaya Mall was very good for Korean bbq. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend giving mookata a try. It's basically Thai BBQ:
S Pattaya Rd, Pattaya City, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150, Thailand.
I usually stick to the food courts at T21 and CF to save money but with the dollar being so strong I figured I'll expand my budget this trip and eat much better.
Thanks for all rec's.

They have a great 99 baht breakfast, a decent 79 baht burger and fries. Don't expect a big burger patty, nice size fish and chips as well as some other specials.
FS massage and good cheap food combo, sounds like a win.

Not pointing to you specifically I know lotsa people do this.
But isn't it a bit weird? Basically tipping 10 to communicate "dick with us foreigners all you want, we're so dense we'll even tip you to show our appreciation of your poor faith behavior" yikes.

In reality you are right.
I paid the price of the taxi motobike found around the corner between Kinarree and Tree Town 100 bahts. And I was ashamed to negotiate 20 bahts for the ride.
And then I discovered Pattaya Bolt . The same trip is 40 bahts. I add a tip of 20 bahts in general.
In proportion the price difference is great. More than 2 times. Now I think the street motobike taxi probably tends to take the farangs for idiots.
It is sure that Bolt makes a severe competition with the motobikes of the street corners. Sometimes a driver would hide because he (or she) was afraid of being discovered by a street motobike and being boxed.
