A civilian Thai girl I know shops online for clothes and shoes for kids. She is so happy when she gets to send these out to needy kids. She feels lucky to have enough money so she can help those in need.

One of the first things I learned in Thailand was the generosity of Thai girls. Wherever my first regular Thai gogo girl went she would give 20 to 100 baht to any person on the street who looks like they needed money. I learned pretty fast that I didn't need to pay gogo girls the tourist rate.

All of us here also do well supporting others less fortunate than we are, except we expect sexual services in return.

I read the story but I thought why don't they instead (or also) report about the farang in Jomtien who is collecting donations in the thousands of dollars to organise food distributions? He was featured in Thaivisa. Called Hemmingway or maybe that's the name of the place he's running. What I mean is this Thaiger article may have an angle.

Incidentally, how many lives will Covid have saved in Thailand? Quite a few what with the alcohol ban and the lull in road carnage.

It was explained to me that charity is a Western and Christian concept where as most Asians see providing support to others less fortunate as their duty or obligation. It can extend from helping the poor to family members, 'adopting' needy children etc.

Of course, it's often exploited by beggars, boy friends, uncles etc too and there are times when asians can be viscous at exploiting each other

Today is my grandaughter's Birthday two years old but like always they come to me last minute and say we need to go to Bangkok / Pattaya for one of her Vaccine.

That is what kids do. I have to get on my daughter sometimes. She wants to tell me things at the last minute and hold me hostage all day running around doing the things that she needs to do, not considering I have my own things I need to be doing too. I am sure that I probably did the same to my mom and dad as well.

What it actually reveals is how genuinely caring Thais are. There are stranded expats being given shelter at temples, and locals providing food to help them out. I'm not judging whether some of those expats might be the professional backpacker beggar sort, I'm choosing to enjoy this demonstration of Thai hospitality.

You are fucking right. You never know what somebody's situation is. I am not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination. Hell, I don't even have a religion. But in the Christian bible Jesus said, I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you clothed me. There is something called being a decent human being, simply because it is the right thing to do. (I didn't say be a fool though.) It could just as well be your ass out there next that is in need.

Today is my grandaughter's Birthday two years old but like always they come to me last minute and say we need to go to Bangkok / Pattaya for one of her Vaccine. Okay That means no morning coffee during my regular time it also means coming from the Darkside we will have to go through the checkpoint so I told them to make sure you bring everything meaning documents.

I have to admit they actually doing a pretty good job with the traffic as we roll up at the checkpoint at Pattaya Nua, I roll down all the windows so they can take our temperature my son and daughter-inlaw does all the talking shows them the paperwork for the appointment then the guy hesitates and say we need to go to a 7/11 and get a form and permission. Now I speak up of course politely and point is that guy standing there the guy in charge he says yes. I get out of the car walk up to him and told him our situation he walks back to the car looks in one word tells the guy to let us through.

U-Turn at the Checkpoint and we are at the hospital I noticed in the back parking lot now they have a number of large tents labeled (ARI) everyone dress in PPE, after parking I get screen at one the entrance to the hospital girls all covered in PPE, take my temperature and ask where I'm going? I speak a bit of English and Thai saying my granddaughter is inside for her vaccine. After everything is done I return same entrance to exit the girl who checked me earlier gets up and starts talking about me getting check inside the tents basically saying since I'm a foreigner to be safe you should get checked. Luckily I didn't say I was Chinese! It was a bit of a surprise since I haven't seen or heard anything where one could actually get tested or treated in Pattaya. In the end, I told her I'm not sick but if it is free I would gladly do it her answer was silence.

Never surprise? with the alcohol ban, Thai always finds a source out here on the Darkside? but to be sure the wife and daughter-in-law mother been making their own moonshine I had a taste the other day I'm thinking if I had the Virus a glass of this would kill it. When I got home someone somewhere they were able to get a case of Leo and a few bottles of whiskey. Nothing large just immediate family, brother, a cousin who wanted to bring his regular but reminded him no P4P girls at my house for good reason for him and me. Another day and Songkran will be finished hopefully for the rest of the year it should be like this every year.

I left Nightwish's crib and decided I may want to get some company for the night. I pulled my bike to the side of Third Road and started hitting up chicks. It was already 9:30 and curfew is at 10. First chick said she had to get up early. Second chick said she was on her period. Every other chick did not answer right away. I went to Soi Buakow to look for a mango pancake. Pulled over again to answer some messages. At the same time a ladyboy was walking by and asked if I wanted a blowjob. No thanks. Boom boom? No thanks. I am just here sending messages. No pancakes in sight. I get some fruit instead. 9:45. I better get my ass home.

Riding down my soi and I pass 7-Eleven and glance over. Motherfucker! I make a u-turn and pull into the parking lot where a chick is on her motorbike getting food from a lady. "Why you keep bullshitting?" are the words than come out of my mouth. She asks do you know me? I said kind of and said her name. We met on Thai Friendly or Tinder last month. Hell, you just looked at me on Thai Friendly yesterday. When we talked last month you said I was not going to give you enough money. She asked how much were you going to give me. I said 1200. She asked if I wanted her to go with me now. I said hell yes. She said how much you give me. I said 1000. (I don't negotiate up; I negotiate down. So you better jump on that first offer.) She said all night 1500. I said nope, 1000! She said why you so cheap? Then said okay let me take this food home and we can go.

I followed her to her place. Soi Full Love Inn. Walking distance from my place and the same rooms that I know a couple of other chicks. She went in and put her stuff up and came back and followed me to my place. When she walked through the door out comes the same exact question as every other chick. How you can stay here a long time. Great chick. Turns out she is from Laos. I showed her pictures of another girl that I know that lives where she lives and she said that she knows her. I guess the shit eventually fell out of that gash. (The next day I sent the implant chick a message, but like most other chicks, when they go back home you will not get an answer. I don't know if they delete the Pattaya Line account or what the fuck goes on. Just enjoy them while you have them is my advice.)

Anyway the girl turned out to be a total GFE and a nice and funny chick to boot. Not to mention that we fucked like rabbits. We wore each other the hell out. She got up to leave about 11 am. Today there ended up being a reason for everything. The first chick in Jomtien had issues. Then I did not want to sleep on the NightWish chick's boxspring and for some reason did not want her to come stay in my room. Then all the chicks I tried to contact to come over and stay had conflicts or did not answer. Not sure about how it has come to being in a foreign country on vacation and now taking free food from the locals. I wonder what their story is and how they got to be this desperate? Met a beautiful chick on Thai Friendly 2 days ago. She had been married twice. Once to a Thai guy and once to an Arab guy. Broke up with the Arab guy because he did not want to take care of her family? I do not ever think I will understand this way of thinking. Marry me so you can take care if us. I asked if the Thai guy took care of her family and she said yes, but he was a butterfly. Well you can't have it all bih. Choose your battles. IMO the person paying to take care of someone should have free roam. You have no right to keep that bank account on a leash tied up in the back yard.

She asked if I wanted to meet the next day about 5 or 6 and I said sure. She is a taxi driver and massager. She has like a big unmarked mini van. I asked her how much to go to the airport and she said 1200. She contacted me about 3:30 asking if I still wanted to meet up and I said sure.

She asked if 6 or 7 would be fine. I told her 6 is better because of the curfew. This is where things started to get hairy and I started to believe she was retarded. I asked where should I meet her and she kept saying Jomtien. I said okay what place. She never would answer. She started sending pictures that looked like she was driving. I said send the location of the place that I am supposed to meet you. She kept saying Jomtien. You do not know Jomtien? Yes and I know Chiang Mai too, but someone only telling me to meet them in Chiang Mai is not telling me much.

She sends pictures of some place like I am supposed to say oh yeah there. I know where that is. After pulling teeth I finally get her to click the location button. It is on 2nd Road. I get to the location and there is no her in sight. I send a picture of the place, a subdivision, and ask if that is where she is and she says no.

She sends a picture of View Talay 8. I know where that is on Beach Road. I drive over there and no her in sight. I do a video call and she is out exercising. What the fuck. She says she will be where I am in 2 minutes. She is not there in 5 minutes so I video call again. She says she is coming. What the fuck. Finally I send her a nastygram saying I did not appreciate her wasting my time. She responded saying she was across the street looking at me and she thought I saw her too. Well who the fuck does that?

Wouldn't a sane person walk up and say Hello, instead of starring from afar assuming the person sees them? Especially when everybody has masks on these days! I told her if she wanted to see me next time she would have to come where I am. I am not playing this cat and mouse shit anymore. If you are supposed to meet someone then you stay at the meeting spot until they arrive. You don't just give a general location of where you will be exercising and believe they will find you out 2000 people in 10 sqkms.

So I headed to another chick's place. She is some cashier or some bullshit at the Nightwish group on Soi 6. We were on the bed fooling around and she kept saying how hungry she was. Her bed was like the box spring part we have in the USA. Why the hell is some Thai people's bed like that? She said she asked the people to replace it when she moved in, but they told her she could buy one herself if she wanted.

I was definitely not sleeping over on that. She asked if I wanted her to come stay at my place. I told her no thanks. At 9 pm I told her to order herself some Grab from my phone. I had never used it before and she could show me how. She said she did not want me paying for it for her. I insisted. So she ordered 185 baht worth of that street bbq on a stick. I gave her 200 baht to pay for it when the guy arrived. She lives on the 4th floor with no elevator so no way I was about to walk down there and pay and walk back up. It was close to curfew anyway so I decided to head home.
