As far as legitimate massage, any favorites? Maybe a spa? Russian spa?

I just read a the couple of trip reports on here from my previous visits. Looks like this trip is going to break the 5 figure mark!

Plenty of legitimate spas in Pattaya. Check beach road.

There are no spas with Russians AFAIK. They are mostly Uzbeks and street smart. They will take you for a ride. Avoid them.

Arrive late to the Areca Lodge; likely about 1:30 am from the BKK airport. In the past (pre-covid), bars would stay open as long as patrons were buying. Is this still the case? My understanding is that bars close at 2:00 am; is this firm? Any late night options in LK Metro?

Yes, most of the bars are closing at 1:30-2 am.

When I went out at 3 am Soi Bukhao was kind of deserted.

Stayed around that area late July. Seem there is still some action, not at the levels before the pandemic though. Quality was average, but I was not hunting since I brought my own food..

There are new Soi 6 bars opening all the time.

But Soi Chaiyapoon is really the new Soi 6.

Bus from Bangkok to Pattaya is cheap and efficient. Roong Reuang Coach (10 min ride from Walking Street) operates buses to Bangkok Ekkamai hourly (next to BTS station). Tickets cost is approx and the journey takes 2 hours (depending on traffic).

The bus service from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok to Pattaya is cheap and efficient too. Descend down to Level 1 at the airport, turn left and walk all the way to Exit 7. There is a booth selling bus tickets to Pattaya (130 baht, 90 minutes).

- What are the prevalent prices for ST and LT? I know it might vary from girl to girl, but what's the standard after the pandemic?

- Are all bars and places open? I loved to be at soi 6 in 2019, is it open or hit by pandemic?

- Prices in soapy parlours at soi honey, are they open and what's the starting price?

- Any special insurance or documents required to enter Thailand?

- Any issues taking a bus from BKK to Pattaya?

These might be obvious questions, but seeking your help to plan my trip better.

With the caveat that Stickman reports from New Zealand. He moved there years ago and relies on his contacts for material now. It's mostly about Bangkok.

These recent posts confirm I am a hardened dark soul. I' can't stand to listen to any woman talk for an hour. Glad you had a great trip and all - "steady barfine" is what it was called in my day. But after I got back home. That was the end. After all these women age quickly and unless you're going back every 6 months. She will get used up. Best to stick with "one night stands. " Man you're patient to tolerate being video called so many times for that duration.

I message ladies only for logistics, ie what time I will meet them, how long they are going to stay, etc.

Why would there be any issues taking a bus from BKK to Pattaya? If you're so worried about taking a bus, then spend the $ and take a cab.

I agree. That's why I stick to ST. I made the mistake yesterday to take a girl out to eat instead of just giving her money to leave after the act and man I wanted to shoot myself in the face. This girl took two hours dragging me around Sukhumvit and T21 trying to figure out what she wanted to eat, in the end we ended up at the T21 food court LOL. My wallet was happy (basically got ST for 200 baht) but the time wasted and having to be in her company wasn't worth it.

For the life of me don't know how mEn live with women or date women.

Generally, ladies with Thai boyfriends don't go Long Time.

They can go ST and lie to their boyfriend that they only drink. That is, if they don't work in an open bar that doesn't have onsite rooms.

About 80% is open. Expect more old / ugly ladies. Less guys / tourist.

Its open. Didn't go so don't know prices. Mainly indians go there.

Proof of vaccination OR a <72 HR covid test.

Insurance is NOT mandatory (but advised).

No. But for 1000 b you got a taxi.
