The start For bedding 2 or 3 partners a day is avoid 4 or 5 stars hotel.

They think that people come to Pattaya for the clean sea water splendid monuments or pure air.

    Hotel advice needed

I have been to BKK many times, and thought I would venture out to Pattaya this time since so many of my venues in BKK are closed or out of business. The goal, of course, is to bed as many beautiful women in 2-3 days as my aging body can sustain! However, I will be occasionally working, so I need really good wifi.

Can anyone recommend a 4 or 5 star hotel that is really girl friendly? I hope to be parading 2-3 girls a day in and out of my room.

People are going to do what they are going to do?

When it comes to renting a bike, some will ask you for a license from home some will ask you for your passport? There have been articles in the past the police requesting vendors to make sure? But if they follow the suggestion they mostly would go out of business the police have told vendors to make sure renters have a verified license to operate a motorbike if they did that they would all go out of business.

There are two rules one for the foreigner and one for Thai! So when you are stopped or in an accident expect the two rules. If you have an International permit normally to be issued for a motorbike you must present your license to indicate you are permitted. In the States, like AAA your license must indicate that specific class if indicated the clerk will put their stamp in the area in which you are permitted to operate. There was a time the police had no clue what to look for as long as you presented the book they let you go today they have learned to look for that stamp at least in Pattaya.

There is a 99.9% there is no 3rd party insurance on the bike, whatever insurance is the required yearly registration and insurance which only covers the medical bill of 15,000 - 50,000 I've not heard too many Foreigners even those living here that have been reimbursed when they have been in an accident. If you have travel insurance you aren't licensed to actually drive a bike good luck.

When renting you should know the value of the bike you are renting it gets stolen (not likely) the vendor most likely from my experience will charge you a full price as if the bike is new. If you unlucky break a mirror for example just go to a shop and have it replaced the vendor will try to charge yo 3 times. There is also a perception by many that if a foreigner is in an accident they are always wrong if you can't explain yourself in an accident expect to pay upwards and if you kill someone god help you! If you luckily hurt someone they most likely will go to the government hospital for treatment but don't expect your portion to be government prices they will sock it to you one thinks testing positive and having to quarantine is bad expect worse?

Most here talk about the drinking whatever coverage you might think you have is void if reports say you were drinking!

    That's what I thought exactly.

If anything the PI did it right by requiring a negative test result 72 hours before flying there, but not requiring testing in country. At least if you test positive before, you can cancel your trip. Flying all the way to Thailand without any pretest is not something I would do and makes absolutely no sense whatsoever considering you still have to test twice IN country.

Right! Those like yourself who can figure out the roadblock can smell a rat a mile away! Would you leave it up to them stories they are scamming their own people what is to stop them with tourists!

That would be Soi Buakhow 15.

I am not sure about Grand Avenue.

The farang on a bike dressed in yellow full of plume.

The building on beach road with a big crane on top that stop work for years.

The old chick on beach Road dressed like a dancer with tutu e kg of fare on the face.

The old wood pier near the walking street entrance.

    The stairs to the marine.

    Bay of islands

I just returned from Honduras and the isle of Roatan within the Bay of Islands. There were no test requirements before arrival or upon arrival. The only test I had to take was the standard antigen test to reenter the US. Virtually no one wore masks except the clinician who tested me prior to departure. There were no curfews on the islands either. Contrast that to Thailand.

In the last years this is not true. Since 2019 I always had to show a regular driving license for rent a motorbike. So there are some regular rental places around.

Just a warning for those who rent a motorbike. Technically you need a motorbike license in your home country (doubt most of us have this) and an International Driver's Permit (easy to get) to ride a motorbike. Otherwise you need a Thai driver's license like Christian has. You can rent one without even showing a driver's license though. Rental places only want your money.

Always wondered what happens if an improperly licensed tourist kills someone while operating a motorbike. I've seen a Japanese guy who barely knew how to ride a motorbike run over an old Thai lady. Cops were on him like stink.

Instead of relying on a baht bus to take you around, you have the liberty to go where and when you want. If you're staying for a month or longer, renting by the month is much cheaper than by the day or week. It can be as cheap as 1800 baht per month (60 baht per day). The guys I'm renting from have 4. 7 rating from 302 reviews on google (you can google rent motorbike pattaya. Rent motorbike is the name of their website). They're located in Thap Phraya 12, Pattaya City. I'll know for sure when I return the bike, but they seemed very straight forward and friendly. I wish I got my motorbike sooner. I figured I'd save a little money by walking around and taking the baht bus the first couple weeks. But it's costing me the same whether I rent it 20 days or 30.
Did you need to organize a license or permit to ride in Thailand?

But leasing directly through them will save you a few thousand baht per month, although there's usually 3 k-5 k deposit required. If you're interested, DM me. The condo I'm staying at (The BASE) is costing me 19000 per month. Grand Ave is advertising 15000 per month, and it's only a few minutes walk from The BASE.
I saw plenty of new airbnb condos in South Pattaya (Pratamnak, Cozy) for 10/12. 000 baht a month. I love to stay in Pratamnak, very quiet. Distance are not much a problem for me, I always rent motorbike.

Rent a motorbike is the best solution in Pattaya, I can't stay in Pattaya without motorbike. I have a thai driving license and I don't drink alcohol, so no problem for me driving around. 1800 baht per month is a very good price.
