One note about Pattaya being busy: due to loosening visa rules, Pattaya is overrun with Indian and Chinese families. So, the roads are jammed, but the bars not so much.

Fortunately, those same Indians and Chinese don't use Bolt, so no problem getting around.

The ladies are not getting so many new customers, but there are still holdovers from High Season, wannabe boyfriends.

Last night had a buddy visiting Pattaya for the first time at Iron Club, ask me what a simp was, when I mentioned the word to describe a guy in the stands. My buddy is a frequent on another US based mongering forum that uses the term white knight and fucktard a bunch. The latter is self explanatory. Anyways, I told him those two terms were not the same. Simps can be spotted out when they carry the girls' purses or wear matching outfits. Doesn't matter of the girls are average or lookers. White knights always think they are somehow chivalrous and protecting girls by hiding their identities after glorifying tales of conquest with the fairies of all maidens in the kingdom. Never with the wicked stepsisters. Lest, they forget the devil was in the details. He said to me how do the white knights reveal themselves everywhere and online. I said, how do you know Mickey is a mouse?

BTW There was a Brit who got killed yesterday because he walked into his shower glass door without opening it. Cut him bad and bleed to death. No tempted glass in Thailand. How sad and painful.

Everyone already knows about WS, Soi 6, GCs, Massage places etc. Most posts on this board arent worth the electrons they consume. Detailed reads like Sir L's are enjoyable and interesting. However, these kinds of "old school" reports are now frowned upon by ISG moderators. I have posted many such detailed reports in Phiilippines, Thailand, Indonesia etc but the last time I did I got trolled. When I called out the trolls, moderators took down my posts and put me on moderation. Guess who is never sharing detailed trip reports on ISG anymore? I guess we should all just post about bars everyone knows about over and over again so "newbies" don't have to scroll back a few pages. I know many seasoned mongers who I meet up with have given up totally on sharing on this board. The quality of postings (much like the girls) has sadly deteriorated dramatically.

Thats my same sentiments when you have trolls on here posting bullshit. They aint stoping so why should you. The stories of how OG mongers move in another country is why I originally came to this site when I was a young freshman in college over 20 years ago. And I can honestly say the knowledge I've learned on here thru the many years has made me an overall better man. I to use to post stories as well but as we get older we get stubborn in our ways and if we don't feel appreciated we're like fuck it and just stop writing completely. Thats why I salute Sirlancelot and others that continue to take time to post their stories and good quality content because its what's vital for the young generation to here and for us old school ISG members to here as well, as it gets us inspired again and post about our adventures.

So yeah, don't let the trolls stop you from posting your adventures. Like Marley said, They not taking a day off so why should you!!

She did not necessarily block him, she can put her account on or off whenever she wants to, by enabling or disabling it.

Once she disable it nobody will see her, and if she wants to use it again, she can enable it by one click.

Not sure how many of you guys drive a car in Pattaya but no one looks in this city before stepping right in front a car. For some reason, tourists think they have the right away no matter where they're walking. If I weren't an excellent driver I'm sure a few of them would be 6 feet under by now.

So correct! The place is safe unless you put yourself in a bad position or make a complete ass of yourself. Don't expect to buy travel insurance and rent a motorbike! As noted pedestrians no right away don't expect stops at crosswalks, cross the street in Horizontal never turn your back.

There are always due to pay no matter what you read here! There is a time when you just pay back into a corner and never hesitate, yell police, and run for the hills LOL. Always smile even when you don't mean it. Many times the right answer is not answering!

TwatHunter, there are 2 main kinds of mongering destinations. One is where it is almost impossible to encounter personal violent crime like muggings or worse, and two, where getting mugged is a possibility if you are not careful or are not aware of your surroundings at all times.

Thailand is in the 1st category. It is 99.99% safe, 100% of the time, so you can walk around Sukhumvit and it's many soi side streets in BKK or from the beginning of Walking Street to the end of Beach Road near the Holiday Inn or all up and down Soi Buakhao in Pattaya at any time in safety. I don't know anywhere else except Singapore & Macau which is safer than LOS.

No, your main risks as a punter in Thailand is overpaying, and or barfining the wrong girl and having a shitty session. As a newbie start out with the most highly ISG recommended Go Go's and oily massage parlors (include the high end soapies in BKK) and as you get used to things and more comfortable with the local scene, feel free to wander around more. There are a lot of interesting small bars and massage parlors all over the place. Keep your money and valuables locked up when you have a girl visiting you. This is not a problem with most girls, but why offer the temptation? Don't over booze it. Interview / audition all your potential bar girls. If in doubt, if the girl is not convincing or friendly enough, punt and find a different girl in another bar. That is the beauty of Thailand.

As it is, Thailand is no longer my favorite mongering destination although I still miss the place. My current favorite destination post-Covid happens to be situated in a 2nd category city destination meaning bad violent things can happen to you if you do dumb, stupid things. I have never been in a threatening situation in my new favorite watering hole, but that is because I keep my eyes open at all times and I know that certain neighborhoods are dangerous at night and are therefore no walking areas at night. But you won't have to be concerned about any of this sort of shit in Thailand. The Buddha rules here!

More things not to do in Thailand. Don't walk around like a Big Shot. That never goes over well with Thai. If you find a Thai man yelling at you. Walk away. You will eventually lose every time either to his 20 buddies or his machete. Not really discussed on here but behave on Soi 6. Guys who live here know what I'm talking bout.

A common news story are guys sitting in a police station because they have been robbed 80,000 baht. Why someone is carrying that kind of money around is beyond me. I don't even have enough pockets to fit that many 1000 baht bills. However, the most common news story is a guy who had his real Rolex or an expensive Gold necklace ripped off him, usually by a Ladyboy on Beach Road. Not even sure why they brought those to Thailand to begin with.

Be like the Thai. Just be chill and go along with your daily things. You will never have any issues especially in the "tourist" areas that 99% of the guys discuss on here.

I am certainly no big shot. No rings, watches or chains. Will be worn. Thanks for the warning, I do have a small gold chain I wear all the time that means a lot but it's always tucked in. I just won't wear it. Never had an issue any where else, I also don't flash money or anything else. I don't want any unneeded attention. I try keep to myself and will on this trip for sure. I'm not very trusting LOL.

I doubt that any reasonable punter will have problems with the Thai people. But, keeping yourself uninjured is not so certain.

1. Traffic (pedestrians, cars, motorcycles, tuk tuks). A good percentage of taxis don't have functioning seatbelts and some drivers do crazy things. I personally watched 2 motorcycle accidents in March and two of my bar fines had nasty scars from recent motorcycle accidents.

2. Uneven floor surfaces in hotel rooms/bathrooms and public places. Watch your step everywhere!

3. Steep and irregular stairs, many without handrails.

USA OSHA rules would shut down half of Thailand.

Very good point! I have read that you can easily be hit or swiped by a vehicle or bike. I'll definitely need to have my head on a swivel. Don't want to end up being injured there. That would dampen things and probably cost a fortune. Thanks!!

Be careful applies to Bars. Not unusual for Hooligans to get Beaten over who knows what.

If you are Chill safety shouldn't even be an Issue. If you are in a desolate area and see 3 teens coming your way you most likely won't be Robbed or Beaten.

On the other Hand be careful walking, Thailand is not Walker friendly.
