Walked through Soi 6 today at around 4:30 pm and again it was pretty bad. Has been since the New Year. Not many girls again and more importantly no one nice. I did see one decent girl at Smoke and Mirrors but only said Hi and told her I'd be back soon. Walked through Soi Honey around 5:15 pm. Not much at Up to You and Paradise but there was one nice one half way down the soi across from Honey 1. I am wary some of these are ladyboy bars but this was a girl by voice and mannerisms. I try to use only ATMs with the card slots that accept your card half way through rather than pulling the entire card.

I've used many different ATMs in Thailand and can say I've never run across one where your card is left partway out of the machine. I once had my card eaten by a machine in Germany but that was years ago. I now use Charles Schwab and have two different accounts that are linked and have two different ATM cards for those accounts just in case. One gets eaten then I simply transfer the funds to the other account.

...........I had my bank card swallowed by a ATM in Mexico one time so now I only go to machines attached to open banks. That has saved me a few times from losing my card in Thailand............

I am sure any body who has ever frequented Pattaya probably has a story like this to tell.

It was August end 2016 and I was heart-broken from a long relationship going bad. So beginning of October, I landed up in Pattaya for a week to take my mind off things. My 4th trip to Pattaya and 7th to Thailand. The trip went as expected with girls, sun, beer and the beach until two evenings before I was to fly back home, I found myself at Bliss on Walking Street. I am planning a week long trip to Pattaya end of May. From what I have seen in the reports best quality girls can be had by paying the Bar fine.

I don't like it but so be it. My main question is what to do at Day time? Can a Girl be hired as a quasi Tour Guide during the Day and share the bed at night? Doesn't have to be the same girl for the entire week. For this what is best; Bar Girl pay LT Bar fine, Free lancer, or temporary GF?

In regards for sight seeing is there enough to see in Pattaya or does it require longer transit to BKK or other area's. This is my first trip to Thailand but I am regularly traveling in Asia. I have seen my share of Temples and Buddha's. Not really a beach going type for the entire week.

I'm not recommend this.

In the daytime you will see a lot of semipro and have to let go because you are already with a girl.

So true. I do find it rather odd how many Soi 6 girls have never been to even Walking Street. Talked to one the other day and she didn't even know where Terminal 21 was.

I would say that is a smart move, unless you need money when the bank is closed. One on Soi 8 ate my cousin's card some years back. Finally got me for the first time 2 months ago at the airport in the Dominican Republic. (Fortunately I have 3 banks.) It just happened to be attached to the bank, but it was closed. I went back the next day and they retrieved my card along with someone else's from the machine. No idea what avenues I would have had to go through had the machine not been attached to the bank.

I am coming to Pattaya at the end of the month for a couple of weeks. Just a couple of practical questions for those in the know and with experience.

To get the most out of my LT encounters, where is the best place to get blue pills (generic or what have you), what's on offer, what are the costs and are street traders reliable? Is it best to get these pills before coming to Pattaya?

Where is the best place to exchange money at best rates. Should this be done in Bangkok (if so where) or in Pattaya, and if so where are the best banks / ATMs?

If you sit on the beach chairs or at open air bars it won't take too long before vendors come by with pills &/ or gels. There are usually vendor tables set up on the east side of Beach Rd around Soi 13/3 at night with them too. Pharmacies have but prices are all over the place. I've taken 100's of doses and reliability has been fine. Try to bargain ฿200 for a box of 4 pills.

If you go to the big mall on Beach Rd called Central Festival there is a cluster of about 5-6 banks on the 4th floor next to the department store. They all have money exchange rates posted. One chick I met on Soi 6 said that LT with her means 550 baht Barfine, plus 3000 baht for her for which she will stay from 5 pm to 9 am the next morning. This is understandable as she could probably generate more revenue in that allotted time from from just doing 1000 baht per pop ST.

One freelancer I met on beach road said she stayed fulltime with a client for an entire month and she received 2000 baht in remuneration per day for her services which included cooking and cleaning.

It all depends on the girl and her particular working circumstances as to whether she can be your tour guide in the day. I suppose the skankier the girl the more likely that she will stay longer hours with you.
