Navel gazing posts are by far the most prolific on the Thailand forum. I use the convenient ignore function to cut out a lot of these from some members. I am not judgmental but when I read somebody proudly proclaiming they don't care what effect their illegal smoking in a go go bar has I feel the need to call it out for what it is, irresponsible.

Scratchin my head. How would that make a difference? Thai New Year's is not until April. You will see Thais in Pattaya celebrate things to make foreigners feel comfortable, but it really has shit to do with them. Just like the big Christmas tree they put outside at Central Festival.

Spent a night bouncing around the agogos of WS. Thanks to BB for providing an overview. I think his theory is correct that many hot girls are not back yet from New Year with families. In the past I loved Sensations but the lineup was really weak now. And the AC is so cranked in there it was too cold for me anyhow. Palace had a couple decent ones but nothing worth the 2000 baht models barfine. I enjoyed Tantra though. The beers only cost 96 baht vs. 150 and 165 and the first two. I was surprised it remained this price even later into the night. The AC was set comfortably thank you. The lineup had some better girls available and the club was way less crowed than the other two. With the cheaper beer I was left scratching my head about this. But later it did get pretty busy too. Anyhow I grabbed number 151 her name pronounced Fa or Pha? Mama come over and I offered her a drink since I plan on frequenting this place. The girl speaks almost no english unfortunately. Anyhow mama told me the girl wanted to be paid now and I explained I never do that. I haven't been in Pattaya for two years. Is this some new trend or just a one-off? That was a strange request I thought and should have been a clue. So I paid the 1000 baht (after midnight) barfine and back to my place. The girl pulls out her phone and asks me three different ways to pay her before we start. Finally I say we go back to club and get my 1000 back. Should have done that. She then relented but lesson learned: girl wanting money up front is going to be lousy performer and in a big hurry. The only english she knows is "you finish". The next girl asks "you pay first" I'm going to not argue and just cut her loose.

Quite apart from it being illegal in Thailand in an indoor pub its a well accepted fact that second hand smoke damages other people's health especially staff who spend hours breathing it in. I don't understand an I don't care attitude.

Soi 6 usually has tons of girls. I walk there every day I am in town. There are times I can't find a single girl suitable to me. Other times I may find several.

For what it's worth, I didn't find anybody on Soi 6 either LOL. But, I'm not as much into Asian women as many others here are, so that could have had something to do with it. Like I have said, I actually went 72 hours straight in Pattaya, ground zero for mongering in Thailand, without seeing anybody I wanted to fuck before I saw a bar girl I liked. Nothing wrong with my eyes. It's just a matter of taste!

Do we smoke? Yes. If you don't like it, don't come or sit further away. With me, I make it a habit to blow my smoke away from others but that is the extent of how much I care about what others think of my smoking in a GoGo.
Won't guarantee you good service every time, as i've had my fair share of bad experiences... but will better your chances overall.

Come now. No need to be sensitive. This Thailand forum Thread has always had a lot of shit dumping posts. Germany forum was once better, but possibly not any more. Actually the Thailand thread has improved somewhat. Some of the biggest habitual shit dumpers have left, and others have reformed.

I for one believe very easily that one can go searching for talent in some places and fail to find a really exciting pretty girl. Others may take anything with a pussy. Others state the head of the girl is of no importance. Finding a great face on a great body is no that easy these days in many mongering venues. Even we have quite different taste in some ways.

In a period of 3 months, I did only 4 different P4P girls I think (one faded from memory), yet still remain quite picky. May get another in this week, but still one of my regulars. I feel semi retired from it all. Hard to find girls that excite me enough.

Also, whenever we knew we wanted to go to Koh Larn (Coral Island) the next day, we would tell the girls when we met them in the disco then take them to their room to get their swimsuit before we went back to the hotel. We wouldn't get back from the island until about 6 pm so our LT lasted from like 2 or 3 am until 6 pm the next evening for 1000 baht.

I've been in a couple of similar situations, one which ended much worse than this, and the other that ended much like this one. The bad one ended because the girl, while physically spectacular, was a mental wreck. So it ended with threats of penile assassination and the like..

For every couple of disappointing experiences, there is a Oui that we find. That's certainly has been the case for me. And those are the ones to cherish. Here's to the Oui's in our lives.

Now THAT's an honest story from a log-time mongerer in Thailand. It's a complicated life these girls live, running multiple clients at the same time. And I honestly believe that the Oui types are genuinely connected to their main clients. And when one client makes the move, they see where it takes them.

Walked through Soi 6 today at around 4:30 pm and again it was pretty bad. Has been since the New Year. Not many girls again and more importantly no one nice. I did see one decent girl at Smoke and Mirrors but only said Hi and told her I'd be back soon. Walked through Soi Honey around 5:15 pm. Not much at Up to You and Paradise but there was one nice one half way down the soi across from Honey 1. I am wary some of these are ladyboy bars but this was a girl by voice and mannerisms. I'll spend more time with her soon, possibly in an hour or so. She did have enough facial surgery to give Syzy a heart attack though.

It's really been pretty quiet in Pattaya after New Year, even the gogo bars. Quite the difference when everything was rocking before New Year's Eve.
