If I get right, I would disagree? A report I wrote in 2008 in regards to Pattaya going down hill. Interesting 15 year ago I would like to see what I wrote in regards to the good old days so I can respond properly.

What I do know 15 years ago I wouldn't be waiting for Bolt for an hour.

My point was that someone posted here in 2008 that Pattaya was not as good in 2008 as in the Good Old Days. It's a recurring theme among older mongers. That The Old Days Were Better.

This is simply because the human brain normally retains good memories, and forgets the bad.

Such posts are a waste of time. If you trace them back, you will find guys in 1975 posting that the days when Pattaya was just jungle with a few huts were better.

Having said that, Pattaya was pretty good during Covid when the bars were closed, and ladies had no money. Or when bars opened secretly (in upstairs rooms). Ladies used to walk around naked and stick their pussies in the face of the few customers.

Back home after two weeks which flew by!

I was in Patts in Sept. 22, then April 23 having the full Songkhran experience. And now I am back from two weeks Nov. 11 till the 25th.

What can I say? This last vacation was much better then expected. And I forced myself to have 'no' expectations at all. My first week was with a fellow Dutchman (I am Dutch), which made it easier to explore several clubs and bars.

LBM, have to disagree with you. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Although Im not suggesting that Pattaya is already condenmed, the changes I have noted myself in as little as the last 4 years, are, indeed, very worrying.
Continue having a great time and enjoying Pattaya for what it is. But be warned, it aint gonna last forever!

Thailand is not cheap anymore. You could get a street girl for 1000-1500ST. Also same on TF. Gogo girls will cost you at least 7000 B by the time you are said and done. Pattaya slightly cheaper than BKK. In my opinion Thai girls have become totally mercenary and commercial. The advantages are there are thousands and thousands of available girls but getting anything close to a real GFE is increasingly difficult. I'm a full time resident here, and it can be a challenge to maximize your fun.
