To keep things short though posting too much information on an open forum can lead to trouble. I believe you and I also know that it is easy to fall in "love" with these girls. If you are serious, this is what I would suggest. Take leave from your job and move to Thailand for 6 months. Live with her. After 6 months you will know whether it can work or not. Ignore the naysayers on this site. I know a number of people who have married bargirls and are in happy relationships. I also know a lot who to scammed. Each case is individual and you have to work things out for yourself.

This may have already been reported but I would bet a session that there is a ladyboy or two working at Redpoint. I'm talking the obvious ugly variety too. If it's not a ladyboy it's one of the ugliest girls I've seen in Thailand.

Just a request, but for long reports, please use the appropriate number of paragraph breaks. When I first saw your post I skipped it as being too difficult to read. But I am glad I later came back. I enjoy posts where one's inner thoughts and emotions are brought out.

To address a few things in your post:

I can understand how one can think they have everything planned out on a first visit to Thailand only to then have it fall apart. I was like that – it was overwhelming and when one is not sure what to do one can end up doing nothing. Or they sit out on the street at 4 am giving money to a monk. Don't worry about it. Next time you will do better arranging a ride from / to the airport.

One comment you made about wondering if the providers understood what "no" meant. Well, you gave in a few times, and many of us have also given in, so they may wonder what WE think the word means! That is a lesson for us all – if we say no, even if we stick around for 30 minutes and let you continue to ask.
