There is a public pool on 3rd Road. I think it is like 50 baht. There is also a pool at the top of Mikes Shopping.

Mikes pool has been closed for ages and doesn't look like it will ever reopen. When it comes to pools big enough for serious swimming the choice is not that great in Pattaya. Some swimming pools stay shaded by buildings most of the day and never get warm. One budget hotel I like for its swimming pool is Sabai Lodge.

Siam at Siam have a roof top small swimming pool (there is also a second swmming pool a floor below) with big and very comfortable sunbeds, great seaview. Some nice girls chill there sometimes, good house music, no entry fee but I think you have to spend around 200 or 300 baht at their bar (free towel included).

Pattaya Park in Jomtien I think is 100 baht entry fee.

There is also a pool at the top of Mikes Shopping.

Has it been reopened? Because it was closed about a year ago for restructuring.

"hum" (rising tone) is a confusing Thai word for me. The dictionary seems to indicates it means "eggs", "balls", "testes". Yet people colloquially seem to use it to mean cock in many cases.

Day 5, Friday.

I went to bed too early and of course woke up too early. But it was ok since I got a couple days worth of reports finished and posted. It rained a little during the day but by 3 PM it was done for the rest of day. The cloudy weather with just a little rain has cooled things down from what it was when I arrived, and that has been wonderful.

I headed to Soi 6 at 3:30 PM or so. I have already posted I discovered a 3/8 inch diameter dark red spot with a nick in the center on the top of my Johnson upon using the restroom this morning. I think this happened with Lucky Love Noi as she was the one with the braces. She had been careful and only went down for a very brief period of time, but it only takes a second to snag some skin. I don't want to falsely accuse, and one without steel in their mouth could have done it with their teeth, but looks more like a nick than a tooth scrape. I am treating the wound with a triple antibiotic ointment and am hoping the red clears out within a few days.

But I am here to monger, not care for a wound, so while I will take it easy, I will not stop. Of course, if it freaks the ladies out, I may have no choice in the matter. In order to see if they will, I will need to take a jaunt to So1 6 this afternoon to see.

Arriving on Soi 6 and walking down the street, I first saw a cutie at Hero Bar. She was probably early 20's with a great face, hair, legs and figure. She smiled and walked me inside. I ordered my drink and when she stuck around, I offered her a LD. Her name was Mona and she had a great smile. I said I had a dark red spot probably caused by the braces by another woman yesterday and that it may look ugly but there was no infection and I was "clean". So, ok, I left Soi 6, going the long way back to my hotel to get some more exercise. It was too much for me but I stuffed it down anyway. I need to lose 10 or 20 pounds and have managed to eat just two meals a day. It is the snacking that really leads to disaster. I did big a big bag of Oreo's Halloween cookies to give to my Thai GF's nephews, but she recently told me not to bring them anything large as she was would not have room in her bag, so I am eating them myself! Not good, but I am limiting myself to just a few of them per day. And attempting to walk the calories off.

After dinner, I walked up and down the street a few times. Lots of Chinese and Indian tourists, but a fair number of falangs too. Tantra was full of reasonably attractive, slender Thai ladies. About 16 dance on stage at a time, and there appears to be 2, maybe 3, sets of dancers. One group will go topless, though I may be getting some things mixed up with another club. I was not as impressed with the selection today as I was Monday with Banana Boy, and I did not see the girl I had most favored. I spent about an hour there and, when I was getting ready to leave, a bunch of guys started leaving too. Not sure why.

I headed to Palace, and it was fairly well packed. I was squeezed into a spot near the entrance, so I could not see the girls at the opposite end very well. I had a favorite girl I selected Monday, but I did not see her. I don't think Banana Boy's favorite was there either. I stayed for maybe 45 minutes.

Leaving there, I went to Red Car. But as I originally said, I was not really looking to bar fine anyone. I wanted to rest and give my Johnson some time to heal. I have been applying a triple antibiotic ointment, which contains the bacitracin that was suggested to me. It is not looking any worse and least, and the actual nick seems to be healing. Red Car at midnight was just starting to get going. Most of the seats were filled and there were some younger people in there. Fern the nerd was in her usual spot. She was happy to see me, but I hugged her and said I was leaving after using the bathroom.

Banana Boy is apparently stuck at home or something, but maybe tomorrow we will get out. And in a few more days, I think, MonkeyPaw will be in town, then in 1-1/2 weeks, a few days before I depart, Lew will be here. It should be epic! I got to have my Johnson back in full business by then!

Oh, I am not done. I took the bus back to Soi 7 and took a peak into the clubs near the entrance, but quickly left to come to my hotel room. I did some writing until about 1:30 AM before succumbing to sleep. That is better than yesterday, though I still woke up at 6:30. Sigh.

Anyway, to summarize, I had Jen at Horny Bar for 1000 plus a 200 tip. (I am not always reporting the BF as I don't always check my bill to see. Assume 300 to 400 baht- a 100 baht difference is essentially $3, which is negligible IMNO.) I expect tomorrow will be fairly quiet as well as I heal. Sorry guys.

How is Pattaya looking this high season? Is it very crowded with Asian tourists hogging all the girls?

- Last year I saw 2 or 3 very cute girls on Soi 6 - girls that should be working at the Palace. This year, I didn't see seem any of that type. But many, many 6's. But this is from my limited observations.

Pattaya talent is very inconsistent. Good one day bad the next. You need to walk through Soi 6 many times before you find a 'good' day. I usually bomb out on Soi 6 but there are the occasional days where even I think it's good.

At Palace there are either 2 or 3 sets of clothed girls and one set of topless models. The models are always topless. I believe the night you and FL Hawk were recently out was the night when the police came around. Bars are pre-warned of the police and their whereabouts on Walking Street as they do the rounds for publicity. if you were at a gogo bar when the police were nearby the girls would not have taken off their tops. An aside, the police just deemed no sex , drugs, or weapons to be found anywhere on Walking Street. Phew!

I can't emphasize enough for you to go to Tantra and even at least walk in and out of Infinity and Skyfall. Tantra has many models but the cute ones at Tantra are the ones who are not models. In fact, that seems to be the case in all gogo bars I go to in Pattaya and Bangkok. I hardly ever look at girls with fake tits and find very few appealing.

re Baccara girls are still arriving at 8:45 pm. The girls upstairs do not wear bra or panties but always have a small unbuttoned shirt and tiny skirt on. They are more the natural Thai look suited for Farang rather than Asians.

imo the better nights to go to gogo bars are Sunday to Wednesday. Thursdays start getting busy and on Friday or Saturday many good girls are already barfined for the weekend when their out of town sponsors or big customers arrive and have pre barfined the girls. Sundays and Mondays are usually try out nights at some of the busier bars too.
