I was with BB at Sabai Dee the other day and asked him to choose who he thought my type was and the prettiest one in the whole place of about 75 girls. I agreed with his choice and his knowledge in my taste. She was the hottest one there. Next day, I went back and took her upstairs and banged her straight for almost 2 hours. Her service was all GFE, a rarity with Sabai Dee. Although we exchanged LINE (she wants to visit HK), she told me she rather work in the soapies and get bang by multiple guys who she can make finish in 5-10 minutes, rather than go with me for 5000 baht and two hours outside to my room.

So I'm not sure what the fuss is about. Some of my favorite girls and all models at that, who have no problem getting fucked by with any race, including Indians, Whites, and Blacks included. Amazing collection. Women as pretty as these are easy to fall for but its business for them after all. If one proves desirability, getting offered for marriage is not uncommon which is when time is not a botheration any more.

The walk from Nana to Soi Cowboy is about 15-20 minutes. The walk from WS (or anywhere in South Pattaya) to Soi 6 is crazy! I did it once and will never do it again. Even walking from SOI 7 and Soi 8 to Soi 6 is a lot longer than it seems. Who numbered those streets anyway? Also, comparing Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy to what Pattaya has to offer is nonsense; other than Crazy Horse Bar. Crazy Horse and Baccara Bar on WS have the best looking girls, IMHO!

Your comparing apples to oranges. Don't talk about 'walking' to your destination, talk about 'reaching' your destination. Pattaya hands down is four times quicker and four times cheaper. Try to get from Nana to Cowboy your looking at a 100 baht taxi ride minimum, a long walk or a somewhat shorter walk and going up stairs to the BTS to reach your destination. Going from Walking Street in Pattaya to Soi 6 is a ten baht baht bus ride. Sure you can hop a motorbike but Bangkok at times has a line waiting for them.

Yes, you are right. Walking on Beach Road from soi6 untill the WS entry are 2,1 km. Walking from Nana Plaza to soi Cowboy along the Sukhumvit Road are 1,2 km.

I remember I used to get upset when, after buying a LD in an agogo, the girl would rush off to go on stage to dance. Well, that is how things are there, so getting upset is without logic. Just go with the flow. That does not mean you have to accept getting ripped off or getting clearly abused by the system, but I will not let a couple of dollars spoil a good time anymore.

That is one way of looking at it. However, I don't know if many of us have our good times spoiled by these little scams. We just make note of it, report it here and elsewhere if relevant and take our money and the good times we hope to fund with it to another bar, venue or location, that's all. I assume nobody gets so upset about it that they go back to their hotel room and sulk for the rest of the evening. But there is no reason to go with the flow so much that we'd continue to spend money, waste our time and tacitly or pro-actively promote places with girls and staff who provide very little if anything in return for it. Too many alternatives and options all around to do that.

Has anyone experienced a one drink minimum charge at any of the Soi 6 bars when taking a girl upstairs for ST boom boom?

No, but I nearly always buy a drink and LD. Soi 6 is such an awesome place I want to do what I reasonably can to keep the owners happy so they, one, will not sell out and, two, possibly apply some of the profit to fixing or at least maintaining the rooms. Most have decades-old towels with similarly aged bed sheets which have not been washed in who knows how long!

But, a time or two with a repeat girl, she has simply grabbed me and heading upstairs with no drink or added drink fee, so there are clubs that no not require you to buy a drink, and girls who aren't interested in getting every last LD from you she can. Thanks for bringing the new WS discos to my attention. Me and my wingman checked out Tantra. Talent was cool. Maybe 20% of talent were 8 or 9. Some girls had stupid tatoos. We took the 80 baht happy hour. Not sure if it will survive since most bars resorting to happy hour. A couple of girls had dreamy racks.

Which gogo bars did you walk in to? There are good and very bad gogo bars in Pattaya. I think you are experienced enough to know that door girls are not a measure of whether a gogo bar is good or bad. Some of the better gogo bars in the eyes of many like Sensations and What's Up don't even have door girls. Last night I was walking around Walking Street with 2 other experienced ISG members who have been coming to Thailand longer than I have. They wanted to go to a different bar. I dragged them to Tantra, a gogo bar that gets little attention on ISG. There were lots of girls in there and both ISG guys were quite impressed. Timing and knowing which clubs are currently hot matters in gogo bars.

The Pattaya gogo bar scene is a bit slow right now. Many of my favorite girls have been off for at least a month now. However, next week it may be rocking again. No consistency in the quality and quantity of girls in gogo bars.

No doubt the same can be said for the Bangkok go-go bar scene at times.

I have been in both Sensations and What's Up, Bacarra, Crazy House, of course Windmill (not known for lookers, I realize, but at least the girls seem to actually be up for some real GFE sex occasionally), a few others I don't remember the names of now. I didn't go into go-go bars this past weekend because they were closed until possibly midnight Saturday night. By that time on Saturday night I was in my hotel room (just off Walking Street, where we did stroll extensively at other times) having real GFE sex with my dating site girl. So these latest observations are based on my 4-5 previous trips to Pattaya over the past 5 years.

But it is almost impossible to walk around Pattaya and NOT see what level of looks dominates the place and how rare really tops good looking girls are. And the overwhelming dominant ethnic and age demographics of the punters the girls who land or take refuge in Pattaya must contend with. Not to mention that where lazy, under performing girls in Bangkok can count on most of their customers being tourists whose transiency allows them leeway to under perform without consequence, along with little incentive to try to turn one into a multi-repeat customer, Pattaya is that transient tourist's 2-3 night side trip that provides at least twice the leeway for under performers to "get away with it" and not even try to inspire a repeat. I would not be surprised if that leverage to under perform as SOP under the circumstances and in that environment is one of the reasons many girls avoid Bangkok and go to find work in Pattaya instead.

Now, if you have focused on a relatively unknown or little mentioned go-go bar or two where, if the planets are lined up just right and you follow the latest buzz on what is hot this moment, that is where the really impressively hot Pattaya girls are hiding, great. Maybe that is also where all those Indian guys can be seen taking damn good looking Thai girls for ST/LT if you know where to go at just the right time. But they must be taking them to rooms on the nearly secret go-go bar's premises, because I honestly cannot recall a sighting of such a thing out in public in any of the half dozen or so trips I've taken to Pattaya in the past few years. Or, to be fair, in Bangkok either for that matter.

Mind you, I used to much, much prefer Pattaya over Bangkok for the girls. That was 20-25 years ago when I would spend 4-5 weeks in Thailand every year for 5-6 years in a row, almost all of that time in Pattaya and only the last and sometimes my first night in Bangkok instead of Pattaya due to flight arrival and departure times. But the reverse has been the case since I moved to Thailand about 6 years ago.

btw, regarding go-go bar doorgirls, if the trend in Pattaya is to employ and feature girls far less attractive than what can be found inside the bar to entice customers into those bars, I must say that is not what my experience has been regarding doorgirls in Bangkok. And I'm not sure why a go-go bar would do such a thing. I mean, it seems to me the goal (or unavoidable outcome, perhaps) is to feature doorgirls out front who are locals so good-looking they don't even need to work P4P and won't barfine because they already have enough sponsors and boyfriends to take care of them, i.e. Coyotes, no?

I would say a single stroll down Soi Cowboy, Bangkok, on one night and Walking Street, Pattaya, on another night would be enough to tell anyone with normal vision what available pool of good-looking girls each location has to draw from in order to hire and feature such girls. And, imho, most of the doorgirls in Pattaya would have serious trouble getting barfined even once over the course of a month in some of the least popular go-go bars in Bangkok. Just sayin'.

I agree with you. My experience has been the same. I read ET's original post, and I got the impression he was mostly extrapolating from his limited observations on the Pattaya scene.

Some gogo bars updates:

- Hidden agogo looks like it's set to open. I heard Friday or Saturday will be the first day. It's the old Maxim and Marilyn Monroe.

- Mandarin has been temporarily closed and is now under new ownership. It should reopen soon. If you are looking for your favorite Mandarin girl, you may want to check out Bypass. Bypass was packed last night as a result.

- Dolls on Soi 6 seems to have closed down. Looks like they are making a full move to Dolls LK, the former Kaos gogo.

The correct answer most will give you is to try both. Some prefer Bangkok, others prefer Pattaya. Pattaya is more expensive if gogo bars are your thing. Barfines in Pattaya gogo bars are almost double. iBar is way cheaper than the Bangkok discos. Bangkok does not have anything close to a Soi 6. Beer bars are more prevalent in Pattaya. They're literally everywhere. Beach Road is about equivalent to the Nana FL's. I'll give the edge to Nana FL's lookswise but Beach Road is cheaper. Pattaya does not have a place like Thermae or Thaniya Road. Soapies cheaper in Pattaya. No designated oilies area in Pattaya. I don't go to or recommend many of the above. Just listing a comparison for you.

As for looks that's subjective. You can be the judge of that. Some guys will be offended by this but imo you need more game in Pattaya than BKK to get the top gogo girls. I see many gogo girls in Pattaya who decline drinks from older Farang so forget about them ever getting to barfine that girl. One girl at Tantra last night looked disgusted when a bald headed Farang in his 50s wanted to buy her a drink. She quickly sucked down about 5 shooters from him and as soon as the drinks ran out she bolted to a young Asian guy, ordering a full size drink.

I'd be visiting a non-monger friend who lives just outside of Phuket Town. I realize that mongering in Phuket Town will be slim so I'm thinking that I'll spend a few days in Pattaya after I land to get over the jet lag.
