I find LT to be a real problem the past 2-3 years in that the girls either flat-out leave at 4-5 AM or find an excuse to go. No point in arguing as I don't want them to stay and make my life miserable at that point but now I'm doing ST to avoid this.

So you want the girl to stay for days? Pick a girl and take her friend as well. They can entertain each other gabbing and ordering room service and whatnot. But when you are ready for action they bend over quick.

I did this last time I went to Subic Bay. Me and the girls had a blast bar hopping, singing karaoke, dining, and banging. No reason the same formula won't work in Pattaya.

Yes, Songkran in Pattaya is from 12/13 April till 19 April. And no, bars and clubs are not closed, but some places will be closed on 18th and 19th.

Depends where you are staying. But in Pattaya the biggest problem with Songkran it last too long. Looking at the calender it will start around the 13th, 14th, down on Beach Road, you will find it heavy from Soi 5, down to Soi 9, Central Festival then in front of Royal Garden into Soi 13/2 etc.

Also up and down Second Road, really heavy on the popular Soi like 6,7,8, Everywhere it will be spotted here and there as I call it. As you get to the 17th, it spreads outside to the other areas, South Jomtien, North Naklau, East on the Darkside, 18th, further North to Laem Chabang, Siracha, Bang Seng, spreads into Sukhumvit on the 19th, it is pretty much full blown traffic will be bumper to bumper and if you are a die hard you can go South towards Sattahip Bang Saray and get a extra day on the 20th.

At night especially in the popular area like Walking Street you will get hit from time to time from the tourist with the water guns. Whether you like it or not try wearing material like they wear for Golf, dry rite material, it looks good and dry fast. Go to 7/11 they will be selling small plastic hang around your neck plastic covers for your valuable. I usually take a small plastic bag and put my phone inside same with my small wallet. Even if you don't wear glasses go to a cheap stall or shop and pick up a cheap pair of reading glass, get the lowest number wear them just to protect your eye and wear a hat.

What do you have to be worried about? It is common for the girls to want to repeat with you particulary if you are nice and have some fun. The only thing that I would have done differently is have her checked by security when coming back to your hotel. You are cautious then most guys so I don't think you will have a child running around the villages of Issan or bringing back an unwanted disease. Do you remember the girls name or number and how much was the encounter and was Short time or long time?

It's 180 baht in a grab Taxi and about 15 minutes from Central Pattaya.

That's outrageous for the <5 km ride to Kinnaree. Is Grab already extorting passengers one day after Uber shut down? Same distance would have cost 55 baht in Bangkok (metered taxi).

Has anyone been to TQ lately? I like the idea of a gogo being opened mid afternoon. Is it on par to the orher gogos in regards to nakedness when dancing and being able to handle and finger when buying them lady drinks?

I would be very worried. Probably a total scam. Her family is probably in the process of hunting you down right now. They are probably working in tandem with the police. You are probably already in the Interpol database. If I were you, I would burn your passport (probably can't travel on it anymore) and all of your identity cards. Live off the grid somewhere in a remote forest where they can't find you. After about 20 years or so, maybe the heat will have died down a bit, and you may be able to come out of hiding then. Can't ever be too safe.

Took her to the hotel, didn't check her in since the staff were probably at the back. Did the business twice, used a condom and pulled out even with the condom right before I finished. Wanted to be super safe. After that I paid her the fee and gave 200 baht extra for cab, she was happy hugged me and asked me go again tomorrow, I declined since I just wanted to have that experience off the bucket list. Was in Pattaya for two extra days chilled and left to other parts of Thailand. Didn't swap any details with her.

After reading posts of scams and all just wondering if I should expect any concerns from the meeting? Or I should chill the f out and enjoy my trip.

I'm not much of a drinker and I get enough politics at home so I try to avoid all of those conversations. I like Pattaya for the music, dancing, energy and I re-live my youth that way, mostly on WS but I'll gladly go to local places if I can find some local girl to take me to them. I still can, I consider myself lucky, so I do. I find LT to be a real problem the past 2-3 years in that the girls either flat-out leave at 4-5 AM or find an excuse to go. No point in arguing as I don't want them to stay and make my life miserable at that point but now I'm doing ST to avoid this. I like the massages, with and without he. I get bored being alone, traveling alone, so for the last 2 years I've tried to hook up for several days to as much as two weeks. But it isn't working out very well so next trip in May I'm going back to ST only. I do try the gentlemen's clubs but for the most part I find the girls unattractive. I like youngish, 21-35, spinner type body plans. I'm going to try Kinnaree again next trip, it's just a hassle to get there. Also I like small music bars, open to the street with or without freelancers present. I found one on 2nd street just north of LK Metro. The singer is really good and the girls are friendly. I'm not comfortable with TF although I'm thinking that I should try it. I worry about fake pictures and fake weights. I do get a lot of responses from 45-55 year olds, almost always overweight and very old-looking even at that age. And I don't know what to say, they don't write much English. And I also worry about getting into physical trouble or getting an STD from BR girls. So it goes. It seemed much easier when I was younger, maybe I just worried less! Different strokes for different folks.

My percentage of doable girls at TF is definately much higher, so my approach to find a girl and my preferences obviously is different than yours. So there might be no common rule for "good" girls available at TF.

Very well said, different strokes for different folks, I created a file of about 80 over the past year, so with attrition down to 50 now on the ground I have had 10 the past week and have a waiting list, they are good like minks in heat and most very nice trying to make a few extra baht.
