This is part 2, following on from my previous post, this one is about Pattaya logistics. The same disclaimer, this is my experience and it is in no way exhaustive or definitive, nor do I claim it is. There is no substitute for reading more of these forums and doing your own research. I just hope it might be helpful to some.

Getting to Pattaya from BKK, I prefer booking one of the many available private taxi services for the benefit of someone waiting for me and not having to negotiate with, and trust the airport taxis. Price will be in the 1200-1500 range. For the price conscious, there are a couple of bus services that seemed OK, but if you miss one bus, the next one might not be for another hour or more. Private taxis booked at the airport are expensive.

Accommodation in Pattaya, choose a hotel at your price point and check the reviews. You will find some bad reviews for every hotel, but look at the overall picture. Don't get caught out by hotels with great scores but only few reviews. Expect the many cheap hotels to be quite basic. Things get better around $40+ a night. Check the hotel is joiner friendly (you can bring a guest free of charge, but usually only one); most hotels are. Resort hotels tend not to be.

Consider AirBnB for better value for money and no joiner fees even for multiple joiners. There are some nice condos that can be had very cheap. But on the flipside, lots of apartment blocks have "No AirBnB" signs plastered all over the place and you will be on your own if you have problems with the girls. If you are not alone then it is less of a concern.

Getting around Pattaya, take the "baht bus". Tuk tuks that make a circle on Beach Rd and Second Rd (Sai Song). Just wait on the side of the road and some of them will honk to get your attention; wave and they will stop. Jump in the back and ring the buzzer when you want to get off. Cost is 10 baht. Have some coins handy otherwise you run the risk of getting back a handful of 1 baht coins as change or no change at all.

Some tuk tuks that go up Second Rd will head North instead of coming around Beach Rd, you can always ask the driver when you get on or play tuk tuk roulette and jump off when you notice it is going in the wrong direction. They do seem to have numbers also, so you could do your research and learn the routes.

Be careful about getting into a tuk tuk parked on the side of the road or entering negotiations with a tuk tuk that stops to pick you up. Sometimes as little as asking if he is going past a particular place can be "interpreted" as a private hire which can then cost you 200-300+ baht rather than 10. The taximeters around the place do not use the meter, so forget that. Motorbike taxis can be much more reasonable if you don't mind riding without a helmet and if you are savvy about the prices. Trips should be around 40-50 for short distances. And now Pattaya even has a few Ubers!

Food, nice and cheap. Depending how strong of stomach you are, you can take your chances with street food or one of the many cheap Thai restaurants all over the place. The next level are probably the food courts available in the malls, like downstairs at Central Festival. You load some cash on the card they give you and then you can choose from the many available options. The cash left over is refundable when you exit or you can keep the card for next day.

Going to level 6 of Central Festival will give you a wide selection of higher end, mostly Asian restaurants (lots of Japanese) and Bon Chon chicken on level 7. Korean style fried chicken, try it! There are then some more expensive European places around, Hopf Brew House, Kitchen, Wine Connection, etc. Hooters for wings and at least one cute CIS waitress last time I was there. Obviously not complete, have a look on the Internet and the forums.

Mobile phone, I consider Internet access to be indispensable for finding your way around, and also finding and communicating with girls, see previous post. Never pay crazy roaming charges! There are several phone companies in Thailand and most, if not all, of them seem to offer some sort of tourist deal, usually 7 days unlimited Internet for around 300-400 baht. Pretty amazing. I have been very satisfied with DTAC, I think they have a 7-day and a 14-day tourist offering.

There is a DTAC shop in Central Festival, but you need to take your passport. Pissed me off since driver's license used to be sufficient. If you'd rather be anonymous, for a bit more you can get a no questions asked DTAC SIM in Mike Shopping Mall, go up a few levels, or on South Pattaya Rd. Make sure they activate it and check it is working before you leave.

Money exchange, a commonly asked question. Don't exchange money at the airport or on Walking St! If you have USD, EUR, GBP then the rates at various exchange booths can be very good. (Probably also other currencies, AUD, yen, but cannot tell from experience.) Better than what you can do at an ATM even if your card has no ATM and FX fees. If your card has those then don't even bring it on holidays! Unfortunately, the Thai ATM's charge a fee of around 200 baht per withdrawal and most have a limit of 20,000 baht, so that is 1% already, on top of whatever rate you get from your bank. You will do better exchanging cash.

Go up Beach Rd or Second Rd a little bit and have a look at the exchange rates. Be mindful some will offer quite bad rates, relatively speaking, while others will be super close to the mid-market rate. Also, some will have special rates on certain currencies, usually USD, that are very good one day but then revert to not so good the next day, so keep monitoring. You will soon get a feel for what is a good rate. Most will offer a better rate for $50/100 notes than for lower denominations, so bring those if you are bringing USD.

If you have a card with no FX fees and charges, you can use that card for purchases, especially in restaurants, pharmacies, malls, etc. It used to be no issue to use cards if they had the card reader machine, but unfortunately now I have encountered quite a few places where "the machine does not work. " But try anyway.

Bring your own condoms, they are reasonably expensive in Thailand and may be of a poorer quality and different size. That being said, pharmacies are everywhere and they sell an assortment of condoms and lubricant. In terms of medication for your friend in the basement, you are able to buy Viagra and Cialis in pharmacies, but the brand stuff will be expensive. The generic brands are much cheaper, Kamagra and Apcalis, respectively. If you have issues with the large pharmacies in shopping malls, just try a smaller pharmacy on the street.

You can easily get all sorts of other medication from pharmacies without prescription, including antibiotics. If you need to see a doctor, the hospitals are set up to deal with tourists and the fee will be reasonable. Keep receipts to claim on travel insurance. Dental is also reasonably priced.

Along Beach Rd, you will find any number of street vendors that also sell these medicines. The branded stuff is likely substituted with the generic at best and completely fake at worst. However, the generic Kamagra is cheap and readily available, so it may be fine. Check the prices and compare with the pharmacy prices. Some people swear by the Kamagra jelly sachets taken just before heading to the hotel with your girl. Cialis is also about to come off patent so you may soon find much cheaper generics in your own country.

Barber shops, they are around. A reasonable one is on South Pattaya Rd between Beach Rd and Second Rd, so perfectly placed for a shave before heading into Walking St. They are open until 9/10 pm and they have a schedule of prices on the wall.

Massages, at less than $10 an hour, a must have. But what about the massages with happy endings? How to tell apart the real massage places from the ones where more is possible? Getting it wrong either way can be amusing and frustrating. Look at the venue and the masseuses and you're 90% of the way there. The real massage places are usually larger, have glass walls, many massage chairs visible from outside and have mostly older women with little make-up as masseuses. They also tend to be less aggressive about getting you to come in. If you see a place with fewer masseuses, but younger, wearing make-up, bright lipstick, and they are practically trying to drag you in, then you most likely have stumbled across a place with additional, special services.

I did not address massages with happy endings in my previous post. Yet another fun day activity in Pattaya. The premise is that of a massage, and while it starts out the same (the quality of the actual massage is often poorer), it soon ends up focusing on areas that reputable masseuses avoid. The extra services range from nothing, if you find yourself there by accident and make it clear you are not interested, to sex if you agree on the price, with hand job and blow job somewhere in between. These extra services are not included in the massage price, maybe a hand job if you get lucky, and should be negotiated with the girl. As always, if you find a girl you like, you may be able to "bar fine" her or definitely organise to see her after work or the next day.

Tips, they are always appreciated by everyone, but are not instituted the same way they are in the US and they certainly are not a percentage of the transaction amount. So no, if your bar bill is 2000, you are not expected to leave 400 tip.

Scams, exercise a level of common sense and be alert. It is not a major problem, but it happens. You might be short-changed, you might be overcharged for taxis, you might be pick-pocketed, you might be told a tourist attraction is closed and taken instead to some market (a favourite in BKK), you might be sold some trinket for 10 times its worth, you might end up paying thousands for a "free" sex show. So keep your wits about you, don't flash cash, jewellery, expensive watches and phones. Leave such things in the room safe. Don't put valuables in your back pocket.

If you are going to rent a jetski or a scooter, they love to ask for your passport as collateral. And then you might just end up with a large charge for "damage". Pay up or you don't get your passport. You will then have to negotiate your way out of it, pay, or get the police involved. Best, never leave your passport with anyone. Renting a scooter is quite popular, but I would suggest avoiding it. It is officially illegal to ride a scooter without a *motorcycle* license and a helmet, even if they don't ask you for one when you rent it. The roads are crazy and you might end up riding drunk also.

The police is "subsidised" by everyone else doing business and making money in Pattaya, so don't expect any particular favours. They will be sure to pull you over to check your license and fine you for not having a helmet, all the while dozens of Thais without helmets are riding around you. The regular police will be helpful if being unhelpful would end up causing them more trouble later. However, you may get better assistance from the Tourist Police who are ostensibly there to help tourists. You will notice some of the officers are not Thai and they are there to create a better experience for those visiting.

General safety, you should be fine if you use common sense and not go looking for trouble. Thais tend to avoid conflict, so if there is any disagreement, smile and talk it out politely. Saving face is very important for them, so don't try to humiliate or publicly show they did something wrong. Remember you are not in your own country.

No matter what, do not get into a physical altercation!! I cannot stress that enough. I have seen a 7 ft muscle-bound jock be kicked in the head by a 5 ft Thai bouncer, and that during the milliseconds it took another 5 or 6 Thais to appear and beat him until the police arrived.

In reality, you are more likely to have issues with groups of drunk guys from your own / other countries. Everyone is in Pattaya to have a good time, but machismo is unfortunately live and well, and alcohol does not help. Walk away, defuse the situation.

LOL. I would hope there would be no stalking involved. The waitress at the place I eat every morning said it to me. In the hood we would say see you when I see you, so the see you when you see me thing has always thrown me off. Probably because you may well not see me when I see you.

Anyway. I rode through Soi 6 just after 1am last night. Pretty much everything was closed except for Nightwish and a handful of other bars. They must be giving the cops a pretty coin. Not my first post on ISG, but it's nice to mix things up. After a few experiences in Pattaya I thought I'd share a summary of what I have found. Seems many new people come to the forums with basic questions and they might appreciate a high level summary. Just a disclaimer, this is my experience and it is in no way exhaustive or definitive, nor do I claim it is. There is not substitute for reading more of these forums and doing your own research. I just hope it might be helpful to some.

So I was planning to write just a few notes and then the more I wrote, the more things I thought to write about. So this is part 1, about the fun activities. There is a part 2 about Pattaya logistics. A part 3 about the mentality of gogo girls and possibly a part 4 about.

Before you even come to Pattaya, you can start laying down some groundwork on the Internet. I had luck with Badoo and Tinder. With Badoo you can set your location to Pattaya for free, with Tinder you have to pay a few dollars a month to do it. Other apps and websites are mentioned in the forums. Once you start swiping you will soon have matches with FL's, many who are quite sexy. The going rate seems to be 1000 for ST and the most I was quoted was 3000 for LT. Did not try to negotiate. If the pictures are real, then there are definitely bargains on there.

Everyone in Thailand seems to be using Line to chat, so install that. Many of the girls on Badoo or Tinder will list their Line IDs in their profiles, so you can contact them directly. When you are in Pattaya, Line and WeChat have features to find nearby users. Keep in mind there are normal girls on those apps as well, so don't open with "Are you a ladyboy?" and "How much do you charge?" If you play your cards right, you might end up holidaying with a cute normal girl for free / much cheaper. The working girls will quickly make it quite clear what they are there for.

As an aside on ladyboys, "How do you recognise them?" seems to be the number one question and everyone is afraid of accidentally ending up with a ladyboy instead of a lady. Firstly, it is pretty clear for a lot of ladyboys that they are not girls, however some of them can fool anyone. On the dating apps and sites, most ladyboys will specify they are ladyboys. And in general, while there are many clues you can pick up on, like height, voice, size of hands, Adam's apple, demeanour, and so on, the annoying truth seems to be that when you see a "girl" who looks really HOT, she is most likely a ladyboy.

They are taller, slimmer, have big boobs, wear high heels, sexy dresses, and have perfect hair and make-up. Plus, the androgynous look can be appealing. The Thai girls dress more conservatively and often wear less / worse make-up. Even FL's in clubs seldom dress provocatively. You can pick up some of these differences in pictures also.

Back to real girls, the FL's you meet on the Internet most likely also frequent the clubs on Walking St, some even mention this in their profiles. So, if you are worried about the accuracy of the pictures, you could always organise to meet them out first, before inviting them back to the hotel. As to meeting FL's in clubs / discos on Walking St, just have a look around the club and you will see plenty of Thai girls either alone or in small groups. Find one who takes your fancy and offer to buy her a drink. The prices quoted tend to be more around 1500/2000 for ST in clubs.

There is a lot to be said for picking up a FL in a club. There is no bar fine, the prices are lower and more easily negotiable, and if you hit the jackpot with a girl, you can easily organise to see her again without having to worry about her work schedule. Quite a few of them are very cute and are working as FL's because they don't want the hassle of gogo contracts and rules, and / or they believe they can't dance. Rather amusing considering the standard of dance in gogos. Other reasons are visibility to family, shyness and I have also noticed a perception that to be a gogo girl you must be extra beautiful, extra slim, extra.

More FL's, in the evening primarily along Beach Rd, and then along Walking St, especially later in the evening. Don't know much about prices for those, but I imagine they are lower and negotiable. Read the forums. I have seen the odd cutie among those girls as well. A word of caution about FL's in general, if you have problems with them or they steal something from you, you will have little recourse.

Bar girls, have not spent a lot of time in beer bars or with bar girls in Pattaya. The bars can be found all over the place, several areas on Walking St, a complex on Beach Rd not far from Walking St and then many in the Sois 6, 7, 8, but also in lots of other areas. The prices you might expect and other locations are discussed in the forums, but expect a fair bit cheaper than gogos. The process is easy, have a drink at the bar, see if any of the girls catches your fancy, buy her one or more lady drinks and then negotiate with her to find out her price, pay the bar fine and away you go. On average, the bar girls are less pretty than in gogos, but cuties can be found anywhere if you look closely enough.

The advantages of bars are several, in addition to the price, they can be genuinely a lot of fun, there is a lot less pressure, they are not so busy, the girls are not running off to dance every 20 minutes, or leaving you to hustle drinks from "friends" who just walked in. You can spend time with the girls in a more natural environment, there are various games to play, just be careful you don't gamble too much on those games, you are NOT a better player than the girls. Also, often you start chatting with everyone else at the bar and really make a night of it. Finally, if you hit it off with the girl and she fulfills all your desires in bed, it is much cheaper to bar fine her several nights if you so desire.

There are ladyboy bars, which should be pretty easy to spot, but be mindful that even in regular bars some of the ladies can be ladyboys. And in particular post-op ladyboys are pretty much considered ladies. I had an interesting experience where I was pretty sure the hottest girl in the bar used to be a man and the mamasan was very reluctant to tell me because the girl was a post-op ladyboy. Caveat emptor.

The bars on Soi 6 are special because they are open earlier in the afternoon and a lot of them have rooms upstairs where you can take a girl for a quickie if it strikes your fancy. The experience is described elsewhere on the forums and on the Internet. There are also BJ bars that specialize in, well, BJs, should you desire a beer and BJ.

The famous soapies, something you must try at least once in your life, and then you might be hooked. There are several around, but three main ones are close together, Sabai Dee, Honey 2, and Sabai Room, on Second Rd, around Soi 2/3, take the baht bus. Rasputin is not far off, closer to Soi 6. The girls are sorted in categories and the price varies accordingly, something like 2000/2500/3000+ for 1. 5 hours, but that customarily includes one pop only, so you may be out of there sooner than 1. 5 hours. Some of the "model" girls are even more expensive.

Some tips here, when you go in, very "helpful" papasans will push you to pick a girl in the first 30's and try to send you off to the room. Be polite but firm in telling them you want to take your time, AND take your time. Check out the girls, get close, see if any of them is trying to get your attention. You can even get a beer while you make your choice. And if you decide you do not want any of the girls, just walk away, don't feel bad or pressured into picking someone.

Keep in mind the girls are quite far away and wearing a lot of make-up; the long hair will quickly be tied up and disappear once you are in the room, along with the generous push-up bra. A -2/3 score modifier is usually about spot on in these places. Your knockout 10 hottie may end up being only a 7 up close. That being said, if you do see a girl you like, be decisive. Chances are, by the time you check out the other soapies and come back for that girl, she will be gone with another customer. Don't be fooled by the fact the place seems empty, there is a steady stream of customers.

The papasan and the girl will probably expect tips. It depends how nice you want to be, especially to the girl if she did right by you. As I mentioned, once you pop, most girls will take that to be the end of the session, regardless of time. And at least some girls will try to make that happen as quickly as possible and bundle you out of the room. If you want a second pop then negotiate with the girl. Don't know if any soapies guarantee you will have 1.5 hours and multiple pops if you wish.

"Sex shows", the famous Thai ping-pong show. There are touts for them every 2 meters on Walking St. Their motto seems to be overpromise and underdeliver, always for outrageous prices. Avoid, unless you feel like you really must experience this. They always promise a sex show, and they will wave flyers in your face with couples engaged in crazy sex acts, but I have never seen a couple in any of these shows, or lesbians, or pretty girls, the only guaranteed act is a middle-aged woman pulling things out of her privates. Be really sceptical about the promise of no obligation, free entry; in these places a beer can be 1000/1500 baht and they WILL make you buy drinks.

The gogo bars and gogo girls, the main event for many people going to Pattaya. The primary area for gogos is Walking St with a much smaller area in LK Metro. LK Metro, is an area with a bunch of bars and gogos, it is cheaper, especially for beer at the bars. The gogos have some talent in them, but in my opinion, do not compare well with Walking St. Could check it out earlier in the night and only stay if you find something of interest. The forums have more information.

Walking St, the home of dozens upon dozens of gogos. Some of the ones I enjoyed and I suppose also some of the larger gogos on Walking St: Sensations, Baccarat, Skyfall, Sapphire, WhatsUp, Fahrenheit, Palace. Check some of these out and also anything else that takes your fancy, have a look at the forums for what others are saying. And every night spend an hour checking out one or two new places, you never know what you stumble upon. The prices at the places I listed are usually bar fine 1500 pm (before midnight), 1000 am (after midnight), and 3000ST /5000 LT for the lady. Drinks for you usually in the range 140-170, more for lady drinks. Many places will have happy hour before certain times and some will have all night specials on certain nights.

The girls dance on rotation for 15-20 minutes, usually in three groups. So, if you stay in a place for an hour, you are likely to see all the available girls dancing on stage. If you see a girl you like, buy her a drink without hesitation, otherwise someone else will. And a good number of guys will buy a girl a drink or two and then bar fine if they like her, so you may lose your opportunity if you hesitate. The girls usually have numbers, this is the easiest way to indicate which girl you want to buy a drink for, but if you cannot see her number, any of the staff will quickly help you figure it out. Just point at the girl and motion you want to buy her a drink.

In my opinion, if you are buying drinks for a girl, she should sit with you and nobody else, and not have to dance, unfortunately the rules are different across the gogos. In some places, once you buy a girl a drink, she will come off stage straight away and join you. When it is her turn to dance again, if you are still buying drinks, she will only have to dance for a few minutes and she will join you again. But in other places the girl has to dance her full rotation before she can join you and again every time it is her turn. It can be frustrating, since she will usually also want to "go to the toilet" quite often.

In terms of buying drinks, other guys can usually buy drinks for "your" girl even if she is sitting with you and / or you are waiting for her to finish dancing. It then becomes kind of a queue system. Even if you bought her a drink, she will go to have the drink with the other guy and then come back to you. If the other guy then offers more drinks she will often choose to ping pong between you and him. The tiring obsession with lady drinks. If you find yourself in this situation, either bar fine or leave, because you will somehow be buying lady drinks continually but only spending 15 minutes in every hour with the girl!

In terms of prices, I stated what is the norm in the clubs I listed. Many places will also have "models", an allegedly higher tier of girls, who usually dance topless. May seem counter-intuitive if you expect exclusivity means doing less. The models will command a higher bar fine, maybe 2000 pm /1500 am and sometimes a higher price for the girl but not always. WhatsUp prices are from another planet for models, expect 3000 bar fine and 5000ST /8000 LT. Be careful of places asking for the girl's money upfront, seen it commonly in WhatsUp and Baccarat, and attempted in a couple of other gogos. Show the girl you have the money, but do not pay upfront. More on that later.

Something VERY important to be aware of, find out if the girl you are talking to is available for bar fine as soon as possible after you start chatting. It may appear that, if she is working, she is available to come with you, but there are a million reasons this may not be so, especially if you want long time. I have been caught out a couple of times after totally hitting it off with a girl for a few hours she turns around and says she cannot go out. Some examples, she is on her period (a classic), she is too tired or too drunk, she lives with her boyfriend / family (this means no LT and ST must be early in the evening), she doesn't trust / go with men of your race / type, she is waiting for a regular customer, she has a party later on, she needs to make her drink quota (more about this later), she doesn't go for sex (usually an excuse, but sometimes true). These reasons may be real or made up, but nonetheless. Not all girls will like all guys, this is normal, and should become pretty clear before you are about to bar fine.

If you read the forums there certainly seems to be an indication some negotiation may be possible and / or in the smaller gogos prices may be cheaper. It depends on a lot of factors, including how much the girl likes you, how she is feeling that night, how popular she is, how much she needs money, and so on. I generally don't haggle too much because it sets the wrong tone. Sometimes I try to include a performance clause, e. G. , the girl asks for 3000 and I offer 2500 plus 500 tip if she really is as naughty as she says she is. .

You may wish to bar fine a girl just to go dancing in a club or to have dinner. It may feel like you are doing her a favour by giving her the opportunity to stop working and have fun with you instead. But don't be surprised if the girl still wants money and she even asks you for the full ST price (more on this later). If you don't want sex, make it very clear before the bar fine what you are willing to pay. Sometimes she may be happy to be bar fined, spend some time with you and then go sleep without expecting anything else. Definitely don't pay more than 1000 for no sex. If you want to dance, why not meet some FL's in the club instead?

One last thing about gogos, you may notice the bartenders and, in the larger clubs, the hostesses also have numbers. They, too, can be bar fined and may be flattered you chose them over a dancer. It's not too common, but sometimes you can find a super cute and / or super fun waitress; she might even have a slightly higher standard of English.

Eastern European girls. Of course, why are you looking for Europeans in Thailand? That aside, on the dating sites I mentioned above, you will find some CIS girls, but they mostly seem to be regular girls. Spoke to a couple and there was no indication they were working girls. So you could play the longer game and meet up with them, see if you hit it off, etc. In the same vein, you will run into CIS girls around Pattaya during the day, especially on the beach. If you have game or balls, you can strike up a conversation, you never know where it might lead. But do not make the mistake of thinking sex is guaranteed or that they will definitely be interested in your money.

If you are looking for something more definitive, go to the very end of Walking St and you will find Mixx disco. It will have a number of CIS girls looking for customers. Just survey the place for a little bit and you will soon spot who is there to dance and who is there for business. Don't know the prices, but expect high. The quality was never sufficient for me to start chatting to any of them, but don't be shy if one catches your eye. The other dance clubs may also have Europeans working, especially Insomnia. There is also a Russian restaurant half way down Walking St that often has girls eating / drinking there. But difficult to know if they are working or just tourists. Again, you can always say Hi and see what happens.

Finally, the Russian strip clubs. There are several, five or even six, Russian clubs on Walking St. Some / many? Years ago, there were fewer clubs, full of sexy girls, and which put on a hell of a pole dancing show. They were always expensive. Now I feel the quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. The Russian financial crisis did not help, with a drastic reduction of Russian tourists to Pattaya since 2015.

What to expect in a Russian club? Actual pole dancing and topless only stripping on stage, lap dances and full nudity in private shows. Extremely expensive drinks for you, 300/400?, and exorbitant, 500/1000?, lady drinks. Really check the menu for the prices of what you are buying and especially for the lady drinks. Make sure what you think you are ordering for the girl is what you are actually ordering. Compulsory 100 baht tips for dancers who basically come around to collect the tips after they dance on stage. A 10-min private lap dance will be 2000/3000. Bar fine 3000 AN HOUR and 15000/20000 for all night. Have not visited last time I was there, but these should be ballpark.

Be careful, it might seem 6000 for two hours with a Russian is not far off from the 4500 you might pay for ST with a gogo girl (including bar fine). But remember, 6000 is only the bar fine! Nothing extra is usually included / guaranteed. The girl will expect to go drinking, dancing, eating with you and that's about it. Normally I would say most Russian club girls don't have sex with clients full stop, but times are tough, so I will say, some will not have sex with clients. If you are after sex, then find out which girls are willing to do it and for what price. Be wary of vague promises, like "everything is possible, we'll see what happens later. ".

African girls, a few can be found on the dating apps I mentioned and they pretty much all appear to be FL's. Some say as much on their profile. I did not ask how much they charge. They can also be found on Walking St, about half way down, there is an open bar area on the left that has about 10-15 black girls hanging out. You can't miss it.

And a few more mentions for completeness.

If you want more than one girl, you can bring back more than one girl to your hotel (check that the hotel allows it and be prepared to pay a joiner fee for the second girl), however you will probably end up with two girls who will have very little sexual interest in each other, even if they are friends. You may be happy with this. But if you want a genuine threesome, where everyone is having sex with everyone, you could try talking to the mamasans in your favourite bars / gogos to see if there are any bisexual girls working there. Or check out Devil's Den for threesomes or moresomes. I mention it because they specialise in that kind of thing. And bonus, they are open during the day.

If ladyboys are your poison, they are everywhere, including dedicated ladyboy bars and areas, plus lots of them online. If you feel like experimenting with a ladyboy, they are part of Thai culture, so nobody will bat an eyelid at your hotel.

There is an area dedicated to gay bars, Boys Town, not far from Walking St, on Second Rd. And for lesbians, there are of course all the places mentioned so far, just ask the mamasan which girls are into girls. If you are looking for Toms (in the West they might be called dykes) there are quite a few tomboy bars. You can search the Internet.

And finally, tourist girls, already mentioned Russian tourist girls, but in general don't forget Pattaya is a cheap party destination, so all the beaches, bars and nightclubs will also have plenty of girls who are there on holidays with friends and sometimes even alone. Take the opportunity, start a conversation, have fun, you never know what you will find. Everyone is in Pattaya to be a little bit naughty!

Flew in from Germany to Bangkok on Thai Airways in their new A350 Airbus. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious their economy seat was, easily an equivalent to any economy plus on many airlines. Their services were great too.

This was my first trip to Thailand which I included this time as part of my global iteniary. I had already been touring the FKK the last week. Anyway, I just want to share my experiences of Pattaya from a newbie POV.

Day 1:

Landed at BKK around noon, and took a taxi to Pattaya, and it costed 1600 B for the trip. You might be able to get there more cheaply if you know your way around the system. But to me I value my time and convenience more than the savings of a few bucks.

Checked into the hotel, freshened up and grabbed some lunch. My first trip was to the Sabai Room and I wanted to check out the Thai Soapie experience for myself.

Inside the building you would see the ladies grouped based on the color of their badge numbers. The different color represents different price tier. Could it be based on their popularity and experience?

Thai girls were mostly small and petite with small natural breasts. I mentioned natural because I later found out that those with a bigger set are more often than not implants. Some of them were done so well that I would often ask if they were actually implants. They would always say yes and let me feel them in the GG bars. These implants were done through injections via their armpits, which is better since it does not leave behind unsightly scars. Here is how I would describe them, it feels like squeezing into a memory foam. It may look more natural, but you can still feel the difference.

I picked a girl from the lineup just based on her look and smile, and that was probably my newbie mistake numero Uno. The girl's body frame was petite and her push up bra made her boobs appear bigger. However, soapie involves body to body contact, and I think the experience would have been more enjoyable if the bodyframe is less petite and boobs are bigger. I am not sure if the girl was just inexperienced or that was the way how things were set up for that establishment. Everything felt very scripted, timed and very rushed. I guess when they mention a 90 minutes experience, it should be disclaimed as 90 minutes or less whichever comes first, LOL. Could the Soapie experience be better in Tokyo? I may have to check it out in the future.

Next, I went to a Thai massage place to get rid of my back strains and muscle aches from the earlier 12 hours flight.

Headed towards Soi 6 after the massage. I have heard of Soi 6, but only realized that it actually refers to the street name, kind of like the 6th Street. They have all these Soi streets in perpendicular to the main Beach road, so it is actually easy to navigate your way around. Soi 6 has the higher concentration of bars for a particular street from my observation, and it was actually quite a fun experience to walk through that street. You are basically a bait swimming through the fishes. There are all these bar girls standing in front of the bar and would encourage you to come in. They would strategically stop you and occasionally try to pull you to get into the bar. However, they were never done in any aggressive manner at all, and if you avoid eye contact with them, they would probably leave you alone.

So if you just want to spend a lazy afternoon and do some "people watching", you can go to the bar and sit there to do just that. You get to see all the different reactions from the guys as they walk through the street and got approached by these girls. I was among them, haha. I spent a bit of time at Lisa bar and chatted with the girls by buying them drinks. The bar girls made their earnings that way through a cut of these sales. These bars have rooms above if you want a quickie, or they can be brought out to accompany you for ST or LT and you need to pay the bar a fee known as bar fine, a terminology that I still find interesting. I guess the bar needs to recoup their investment on the girls in some way, since they are paid a monthly salary to work there. With so many of these bars around, I am pretty sure that competition for business is intense.

That night, my friend and I went to the Walking Street for some GoGo bar hopping, and it is an area where the GG bars are concentrated. The GG bar uses the concept of girls parading through the center stage in rotation. Sometimes the girls would be half naked, and most times I can tell that they really hated to be up there doing this stupid routine. I can't really blame them since who wouldn't? Their faces were mostly expressionless and if they happen to notice that you are looking in their direction, would occasionally flash a smile to see if you might be interested to buy them a drink after they got off stage. My so-called lady drinks have ranged from anywhere between 150 to 200 B. I would get to check if I can have the chemistry with the girl that way. If not, I would pay my bill and move on to the next bar.

That late night I ended up booking LT with a girl at the bar called Airport. That was the bar that has no bar fine, but regardless the prices will always be factored in. It's just how you want to call them. I negotiated with the mamasan on the prices directly and it took a few counter offers. By the way, I find the amount that you pay for the girls are very subjective so I am not going to reveal how much I have paid. Your price is always going to be determined by your available information and context, your level of desire, and your willingness to walk away. YMMV (your miles may vary).

From my experience so far, bar fines have remained consistent at 800 B at all the bars. The GG rate can go anywhere from 2000 to 5000 B for LT from what I am told. But don't take my words literally. However, girls would be willing to negotiate as the night drags on, as they would prefer to earn something rather than nothing as GG bar closes at 3 AM if I not mistaken.

After bar fining the girl, we went to watch the pussy show just right above the Airport bar. Let's just that after that show, I have a greater sense of distaste for coke and anything that comes out of the pussies. Those things can kill, LOL.

Day 2:

Slept till 11 AM with the girl from the previous night, and would have slept even further if I had not been interrupted by the hotel receptionist asking me if I wanted to extend my hotel stay, and I said yes.

Later in the afternoon, I went back to the same massage place for a foot massage with the same girl. For some reason, I was attracted to her, but like a teenager, I was too chicken to ask her out, hahaha. But the bigger barrier is of course the Thai language, which I know nothing about.

Later, my friend and I went for another round of walk through Soi 6 again and ended up at Lisa bar. Next to Lisa bar was Ruby. I noticed a girl seated just a few seats away that attracted me. She sat quietly and looked very shy. She would look away even after I have looked at her and showed sign of interest. Maybe I was in the wrong bar. So I closed my bill and stepped into Ruby and bought her a drink. Again, communication has remained a barrier, and beyond a few simple greetings, I have to rely on Google translate.

I liked her and decided to bar-fine her for LT, since it would not be a bad idea to have an escort in Pattaya for a day. GG bar demands upfront payment, but for this joint, I can pay her after her services, except for the bar fine which I have to pay first. This is a good sign, since I really hate to pay upfront for any services. We would take leisurely stroll and relax on the beach, and later on head back to the hotel for a quick session. That evening, we would spend our time in I-Bar, and later Insomnia. That girl can really hold her drink, as I found myself getting drunk faster over the same rounds of tequila shots. Also, I find it much cheaper to just order a bottle. We would drink, dance and make out all night. It was a great experience to be pempered by her that night.

Day 3:

Went back to the Thai massage place again for the third time for massages with the same girl. By now, she had grown comfortable with me. Too bad that it was my last day in Pattaya and logistically it would be difficult to ask her out.

That evening, my friend and I went more GG bar hopping. He had his favorite at Peppermint, and we stopped by to bar fine his girl, before our next stop to Baccara. I have posted a brief report of Baccara earlier, and so I am going to skip the section here. Anyway, I bar fined a girl later on, and initially she was fun to be with. We spent time in Lucifer drinking and dancing. However, I had to later kick her out of my room, and again it was in my previously posted report, LOL. In the end, I texted the girl from last night, and she agreed to come by my hotel after getting off rwork from the bar.

One more thing that I almost forgot to mention. My sexual experience with these girls were not great. They were either inexperienced or not into it. I find sex with the GG girls particularly bad. Forget about getting a BBJ from the GG girls, and usually I have no problem with CBJ and I prefer that route in places like this. However, you cannot do CBJ and yet still be repulsive by the condom taste. That's a bad combination. For great sex experience, I would still prefer the FKK route in Germany.
