Depends on where you go. NEVER go to a soapy as they usually want CBJ and give the most clinical and mechanical service. Just entirely write that off the list. Massage shops are similar only in regards to BBFS (almost all should offer BBBJ), but there is maybe a 25-50% chance of BBFS. I haven't done that yet but I would take the free shuttle to BKK and then either Bell door-to-door, or "389" to Pattaya or Jomtien. Bell now requires booking and paying in advance but in a pinch ticket can still be bought at the a. Pt for a surcharge.
The reason is that the route is more direct than getting to Mo-chit, and the Bell bus is more practical. Another way to get there fast is to share a taxi with someone found at the airport, usually around the bus desk when the leaving time has a long wait.

That's ridiculous. If you are at DMK and want to take the bus, just go to Mo Chit and then take the bus from there to Pattaya. No need to go all the way to BKK then to Pattaya. That's a waste of time.

I paid 1500 baht for a taxi from DMK to central Pattaya, and the fellow was hells on wheels to get me to my destination, just as I preferred it. The goofs manning the "taxi stands" outside the "taxi" gate at DMK will quote 1800 to 2000. Pass them by and negotiate outside. I suspect it would be possible to get as low as 1300, but doubtful any lower. (I paid, as I recall, 1200, from Sukhumvit, which is slightly shorter to Pattaya a couple months earlier.) Ya know, before fighting over 10 to 20 USD, I'd rather just be on my way, and expend energies on finding the right girl, rather than the right ride.

I have been living in Thailand for 4 years. I normally pay 1100 baht from Bangkok to Pattaya. If one taxi driver doesn't accept that, ask the next one.

After day one decided to take a more measured approach. Went to Heaven Gentlemans club to see what was on offer. Arrived around 3 pm and the place was quiet. A few very nice looking girls and after a few minutes grabbed one that I saw last time I was there that I did not take but wished I had. She has a fantastic body and very cute face.
