Besides the above: After my first trip I got the Thailand fever that probably everyone catches after their first. I am planning to return in June / July and combine it this time with Philippines / Indonesia and perhaps one more (Singapore? Can one tell me the differences with visiting Thai in January / Feb as I did and June / July? I know it's rain season which probably doesn't bother me too much as I never ever lay on the beach or go for the sunshine (don't even enjoy heat that much) but is it really that much quieter as what I've read by some reports? Or would you hardly notice the difference nowadays? And how is BKK? I reckon because of summer holidays all over EU and USA surely it can't be much more quiet then winter? Or am I wrong again? I then went to Shooters. The difference with Lucky Star 2 was like night and day. Still not a lot of nudity, but most of the girls were real lookers, thin and generally quite tall. This was sadly my last day in Pattaya (to be followed by a couple of days in Bangkok). Not a very good feeling. I am very aware I have only brushed the possibilities. I am leaving the FL scene almost untouched, and have seen so little of the beer bar scene. I have so much still to experience. Of course I know I'll be back. I felt instantly at home here.

Anyway I wanted to finish on a high note, and felt like a sure thing was in order. So I went back to Kawaii bar to get my favorite girl in Pattaya so far (to be joined by many other I hope) To my delight she was there and available. She told me that the room upstairs were closed, but I couldn't care less, I was there to barfine her! And so I did, although it was only 1 pm. I have to say I was appalled by what I saw there. I almost did what I never did in Pattaya, out of respect, which was turning on my heel without drawing a second breath. First of all, the girls were clothed, and I do not mean with bikinis, but with their tops on. And the line-up was catastrophic. Fat bellies were out in full force, and the girls attitude was not even good. I saw a couple of guys do what I should have done, IE stepping in, raising their hands, and turning around. Staying there was a loss of time, so I left very quickly.

I told her I was sorry but I thought it was too much for ST and I went. She looked fun, but no English, very dressed so not showing much of a body that was probably average, the price seemed not quite right.

I soon was browsing the BR offer. It was about 10, some cute girls. I was looking for a girl I had seen on a previous night, and which I had decided against taking as I was running short of time. What was special about her was the quality of her English. Late 30's, but with a BBC English. I was stunned. I had bargained, and she would have been ok for 800. She actually did tell me. "I cannot offer you less as I feel I would be devaluing myself. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed" Those were the exact words. I think she had worked in Singapore. Sadly I did not find her. Should have taken her number. For those interested, she was a bit to the north of the Hilton.

Is 1500 barfine and 5000 baht long time the market rate for one of the best looking gogo girls at Skyfall? Seems like it is, which is about 200 USD if you include drinks. A bit of down day for me, but some great finds nonetheless. From the morning I was feeling out of shape, tired, with very little appetite. I might me indeed that all the good work of the past few days, busily supporting the Issan economy, are catching up with me.
