I must tell you I'm not a big fan of Pattaya but when I go there and want freelancers, IBar is my choice. I actually find the freelance girls in Bangkok to be more to my liking.

I very much agree with this. Pattaya is great for what it is, but the freelancer scene, while abundant in sheer numbers, lacks the kind of variation that Bangkok offers. The girls in Bangkok are more sophisticated, at least on the surface, and present a more complex experience, one that fits my finicky palate. Unlike Bkkdog, I very much enjoy Pattaya, but the freelancer scene is better in BKK, IMHO.

Having said that, in Pattaya, iBar and Insomnia are the places to be. I find Lucifer too dark, too smoky and hard to navigate. I find the other places all hit and miss. But iBar / Insomnia are as close to a sure bet as you get. But in BKK, you can take your pick, as Bkkdog says: Climax, Mixx, Spasso, Levels, Spicey, Bossy, Insomnia, etc. , depending on what you want for the night.

I must tell you I'm not a big fan of Pattaya but when I go there and want freelancers, IBar is my choice. I actually find the freelance girls in Bangkok to be more to my liking. In Bangkok, I like the idea that I can decide before hand what kind of girl I want to see and then bang, choose the bar or club where that type of girl goes. For example if I want a model, I go to a G club, Spasso, or contact one on we chat. If I'm looking for a snooty Japanese style Thai girl, I go to Thermae, or if I want a cheaper more reasonable down to earth girl, I go to Climax. I think you get my point. Where as at IBar, they are all lumped together. As for performance, that is YMMV in most cases when referring to freelancers. I generally feel the Pattaya ladies have more competition and the scene there can be hectic at times with IBar popping at the rafters. Hence the girls seem to perform a little better than the Bangkok ladie's because they appreciate the baht more. On the other hand, the Bangkok girls are all hit and miss, In Bangkok it pays to build up a good list of contacts because repeat customers that can be trusted, usually are given the best service. The Bangkok freelancers will generally hold out to get their price and may even have no problem going home alone if they don't, so prices will be higher. As for looks, I am a big fan of white skin and that can generally be more available in BKK so this is something that would depend on each punter and his own tastes.

Guys these are my comments on the freelance scene only in BKK and Pattaya. We are not discussing beer bars, massage shops or even the Go Go bars or Hillaries, basically anywhere where there is no bar fine or house fee.

In my opinion I Bar in Pattaya has a huge amount of freelancers in all shapes, sizes, and price ranges, so there is more selection in a very compact area of Pattaya, walking street. Prices 1,000 and up. On the other hand, Bangkok freelancers are spread all over the place at Mixx, Insanity, Sugar club, Levels, Thermae, Oscar, Spasso, and Climax. In my opinion, the closest experience you will get to IBar in Bangkok will be Climax. On most nights it's jammed packed after 11:00 PM with all sorts of freelancers but with less the amount of punters. Good luck mate.

I find it best to not even learn the bad words at all. Ignorance is the safest bet.

That means not speaking Thai at all with Thai girls, in which case may be hard to be understood in some cases. My girlfriend does not speak English, so I might have avoided her. LOL.

The problem is you will hear bad words from Thai girls, but you might not know which ones are okay And which are extremely bad. There are multiple possible words for the same thing.

We hear Farangs use bad words probably not knowing how bad they are quite often.

More than once I've been somewhere rather respectable (not my scene, but it comes with marrying a respectable woman) and some farang has used a word like "nom", which is about equivalent to "tits". Everyone has to kind of pretend they didn't hear him say it. (The polite word is "naa ok".).

Ha Ha. Very amusing. Note that Nom is the standard word for milk. So referring to a girl's chest as Nom, is pretty much equivalent to referring to her "milks" which is not very polite, rather a bit informal commoner flippant style, but not vulgar. No where near to a really vulgar word like "hee" (C*nt), for example.

In a Hi So situation, it is unlikely that I would be talking about a girl's chest in any case, and "Naa Ok" might not even come to mind since I have hardly ever used this word in conversation, myself, but have heard a Thai speak it rarely when talking about a pretty girl with a nice figure. LOL.

Mostly I am in low class situations where I can get away with "Nom". Even LBs refer to their Nom, with no chance of getting any milk. LOL.

"Naa ok" and "Suang Ok" mean chest. I can't recall ever hearing the 2nd one.

"Dtao" or "Dtao Nom" means breast and often comes up in written stuff relating to breast feeding for example. Maybe other words but have not heard them.

"Hua Nom" is okay Word to use for nipple. Not really impolite, if need to talk about the nipple for some reason. Probably can be used for a man nipple as well, even there is no milk. I often use when Thai girls have very attractive nipples. LOL.

Tits seems to be a slang word in English, and I assume originates from Teat.

I have been with a group of Thai tourists in an overseas city eating dinner, in a Hi So restaurant, and was surprised to hear one or two of them say:

"One for the Hum" meaning "One more drink for the road" but literally translated means one more for the Dick. So I find Thais are into using impolite words at times, even with wives present, especially after a few drinks.

Very common to hear really vulgar speech from lower class Thais. E. g. "Huu bpen Hee" meaning your ears are like a C*nt (and not hearing very well). If girls are not that vulgar, they can omit the Hee word but still imply it, by asking "Huu bpen aray?" (what are you ears like?), with "Hee" being the known answer.

I find to know a Thai girl, you really have to know how polite she expects you to be with her, and in the company of others. Could easily get in to trouble by using words unacceptable to her, but quite acceptable to others.

Examples of some words that cannot be used with some Thai girls but can be used with others:
"hoi"(Rising tone) (pussy. But literally shellfish).
"moi"(Rising tone) (pubic hair) Safer word is "khon (R) phet (H)".
"ngian" (Falling Tone) (horny).

Extremely vulgar:
"dtolae" (bullshit artist) very dangerous word.
"Hee" (rising tone) (C*nt, pussy).
"Khuay" (cock, prick).

I am in big agreement. Learning words in the bar is very dangerous. It is important to know the meaning and how impolite or vulgar they might be, We can't just copy words we heard from bar girls.

If guys learn Thai in a proper school, they might not be taught the vulgar words at all, or if taught, must know how vulgar they are. A school can unfortunately teach only formal Thai words at times, and be missing common street talk words.

I would suggest that you don't really go there expecting to bang a girl. Just go there thinking about having a drink and not necessarily more. Like this you can just sit wherever you want and not care about the girls trying to make you enter their respective bar. If you spot a cute then fuck her and if not you'll not be disappointed. You should go first in one of the bigger and most famous bars as Ruby Club or The Pussy Bar or another like this (these ones should have more girls and they should not be annoying when you just come take a drink) , feel the atmosphere and have a look at their girls or the girls in bars nearby.

For beginning you could go in Ruby Club and once you're seated ask for Ying. Here is a pic from their facebook account, I think she is the one with green hair in the middle. She's got a great body, is young (around 19 if I remember well) , you don't see her face on the picture but I can guarantee you that she has a nice face (a lot more than most of Addict's girls). She comes from Surin and in October said that it's been 3 month that she was there (I know that they all say 3 month but I'm confident that she's not there for years). There is another slim and young girl in that bar whose name is Bow with a darker skin but when I was there she was already busy with another dude so I don't know if she is worth it. Rooms are OK and you should pay around 1500 including BF (350), FS (1000) , your drink and one for her (if you're a nice guy). If you're not successful just go in another bar or go back another day in another bar of Soi 6. You should definitely find some young and reasonably good looking girls.

Just to add another data point, I visited The Pussy Bar on Pattaya Soi 6 under the same circumstances: mid-day, not desperate pressure to hook up. The negative side is that they have no TV showing sports, so you don't have anything to do while you are scanning out the merchandise on offer. The positive side is that they have quite a few girls, and some of them are nice looking. There was one I almost went with, but for some reason I wasn't 100% comfortable with her vibe and her looks, so I passed. Then a new hottie walked in in street clothes. I harpooned her, but she said she had to change and take a shower first before starting to work, so she narrowly escaped my clutches. I finished my beer, and she still wasn't back, so I just ejected. But there is hope.

Ideal would be a bar with sports on TV and a decent selection of girls. I think it's going to have to be trial-and-error.

As much as I was tempted simply because it was the best opening line I had ever heard, she was not my physical type. So I passed. I only hope she's strong enough to overcome her unfulfilled desire to lick my balls.

I'm guessing that, since this was on a public street, she did not specifically see YOUR balls, and thus she could only imagine the sensation. I am also guessing that, with that sort of approach to guys, she probably gained access another set of man-balls that she could lick in short order, so I suspect that she got over it and came away with at least 1000 additional baht in the process. Apparently, we'll never know if those replacement balls were actually a suitable substitute for yours - at least for her, if not for you.
