Can someone tell me how much extras at an oily massage are supposed to cost? I have been quoted outrageous prices of late. I did give in to a 500 baht HJ today only because the girl was super hot with big tits. She wanted another 500 baht to be topless.

Excluding Soi Honey places which are in line with Soi 6 pricing, what are the prices over and above the 200-300 baht massage price are you guys are currently being quoted for:

I will travel to Pattaya for about a week in February, am considering a hotel in Jomtien Beach to "get away a little bit" from Walking Street etc. Would like comments relating to if this area is too far away from the action in town and if there is any action in this area at night, (not gay action). Hotel references "Super Town" entertainment area with outside bars etc. , any knowledge or information on this would be great as well as opinions. When I went to Pattaya, I always stayed in the Jomtien area. If you are on or near Jomtien's beach road, it is easy to get a 10 baht ride to Pattaya wiith any of the songthaews.

For "local" entertainment, there are some beer bars and girlie bars, the usual massage places and even an agogo-club or two in the beach road sois. Nothing that compares with Pattaya of course, but I never had to spend my night alone if I didn't want to.

And if you really want to bring your Pattaya sweetie to Jomtien, a taxi is not too expensive and I have even seen some guys bring their girl with a bahtbus.

Hotels are abundant in Jomtien. Just look at the usual hotel booking sites. For a medium length stay I usually book a studio or small apartment.

For those who have made trips to Pattaya recently on holiday, what was your total budget like?

I have not been to Thailand for a while and am planning to budget for an upcoming trip around 2000 dollars total for about 10 days, not including hotel cost. That does not mean I'll spend all of that money but just what I was able to have in my savings until now for any future trips. I am not planning to barfine anyone from a gogo due to the high costs of both the barfine and the girl's fee, and who knows how much girls are asking these days.

I plan to stick to Soi 6 or massages for release every few days. Being older I have no need to have sex everyday as the desire is no longer there and am slowing down. I plan on going to a few gogo's just to see some old friends and enjoy the atmosphere. For food I usually stick to restaurants like in the malls or some sit down western style places so that would probably be my biggest expense next to women.

I'm not a spring chicken either anymore and my "three girls a day"-days are long past, so my budget might be of interest to you:

I budget about 2000 baht for a hotel per night and I try to have breakfast included in that price. If not I add 200 baht extra and that will buy me a generous breakfast.

Lunch and dinner together another 400 baht, although if I restrict myself to streetfood, I can easily halve the cost.

Some drinks (non alcoholic) and fruits during the day, say another 200 baht.

The bare necessities of life will cost me 2800 baht per day. I add a reserve of about 500 baht per day for any extra's, such as local transportation, visiting some sites, buying a book or newspaper, some souvenirs, perhaps some blue or yellow pills every so often. Say in total about 3500 baht per day and then I don't have to be misery. 10 days is 35000 baht or about 1000 USD.

For my "entertainment", I mix ST and LT. One day I will arrange an LT overnight companion and I budget 4500 baht for her, incuding barfine and some drinks for me and her (Note: I don't drink alcolhol). The next day I will either abstain from sex (in case I got a nice morning romp with the LT girl) or perhaps a happy ending massage or a Soi 6 quickie. That shouldn't cost me more than 1500 baht, perhaps even less. Total entertainment budget for 10 days: 5 x 4500 + 5 x 1500 = 30000 baht or 850 USD.

A budget of 2000 USD for 10 days is certainly feasable. It will not support anything extravagant, but neither do you have to rough it.

You can read my reports from a few weeks ago about my mongering expenses. Typically 1300 to 1500 baht per girl on Soi 6 for BF and for the girl, plus whatever you buy you and her to drink. That equates to roughly $50 per girl. Transportation expenses are hardly worth considering if you use the baht buses. I spent about $3000 for mongering over 10 days there, but I was with 2 to 3 girls per day, plus doing some gogo girls.

If you are not figuring hotel costs and airline fares, and you use the buses and and are not living too high on the hog, $2 K will be way more than enough. But if you arebtaking the time and expense to go there, even if you are older (as I am), you may as well enjoy it and go for all you can!

Like you mention I don't have a lot of expenses and some things like transportation are negligible. I just don't have that sexual power like I used to as I near my fifties. On my last trip I had trouble getting it up a few times here and there. Like you I travel far so I would love to live the life of debauchery and have 3-4 girls a day, but father time has not been kind to my libido. One shag every few days is enough. That's how I save money for that part of the trip unfortunately.

Maybe I need to have my test levels checked.

Not that virile as I hardly get any at home. I don't live in a big city and the prospects locally are slim, but that is ok. It is that I want to get my money's worth when I come to LOS! My phone is jailbroken so I can spoof my location to appear like I am in Thailand (or anywhere else in the world). I just "placed" myself on Sukhumvit Soi 11 and got a bunch of hits on the US version of Line for people nearby. Seems like quite a few are dudes, but there are lots of women nearby, too. WeChat gets me many more hits.

A number of people have asked how I did this. My iphone is jailbroken. That is the first step. Then you have to download an app on the Cydia Store (only available on Jailbroken Iphones) called GPSCheat. That free app allows you to fake your location to an individual program on your phone, or to the entire phone. That way it appears that your phone is in Thailand when you are in California. Or it appears you are in New York when you are having a beer at Nana Plaza. It's really cool, but once again, it only works on jailbroken Iphones. If you haven't run jailbreak and you are on IOS 10, there is currently no jailbreak available to you. Hopefully that will change in the near future. Good luck and happy hunting.

Is it safe to visit Thailand alone? How safe is it to visit in December?

If you are traveling to Phuket, Bangkok or Pattaya, then, I can say it is safe as I have been to these places before many times without encountering any sort of problem.

Anything as a Indian we have to be careful of. Have read few reviews on the internet that Indians have a quite bad reputation in Thailand may be I am wrong and just read reviews that shows negatively.

If you dress nicely and act as a gentleman, everything will be OK.

I just want to thank all the board members for all the great info that you provide it helped out greatly on my first trip. The biggest lesson I learned from my two weeks was the time split between Bangkok and Pattaya I did 5 nights in Bangkok and six nights in Pattaya The next trip and yes there will be a next trip I will only spend 3 days in Bangkok and the rest in Pattaya and I will do the Bangkok at the end of my trip for easy access to airport. Soi 6 is just a wonder land of women. Also use the 45 baht airport line if you can, very easy to get into Bangkok and try to book a hotel close to the BTS line Just so easy to get around.

Planning to come to Pattaya for my 3rd visit on December 27-30. Knowing that this is high season- any tips from senior member. How much extra I have to pay for bar fine. Does the amount of girls also increase in high season or people have to fight for good ones?

If you act respectfully and pay the right price without insisting too much on the bargain, ask for discounts, ecc... you will be fine. I read that some clubs have a "door policy" and don't want Indian.
