Pricing for a working girl should have nothing to do with the standard in our rich home country, and it doesn't matter if someone can afford higher prices, this is just stupid. Just think about the money in our currency, in Dollar or Euro, and not in Baht!

Pricing should depends on the life standards of the country. In Thailand for a good work they earn about 400,- EUR for 1 month. So how can anybody pay for a working girl 50-75 EUR for just 1 hour Short time or about 100-150 EUR for 1 Longtime?? What a crazy and silly thing! One stunner girl from a bar in Patty told me, that's some days she can have 3 times short time with farangs in 1 evening / night and earn 10.000 Baht, about 250,- Euro in 1 evening. This is abnormal and the opposite of the own country standard.

And now I tell you something new – it seems like so!

The prices was going higher and higher in double and triple times since the year 2013 !

Bevor till the year 2013 every a ST was totally easy to get with 1000 Baht or less and a LT with 2000-2500 Baht!

I also got some LT for 1500! And I also can tell you, I am not able to have sex with ugly girls, in contrary, my girls always need t be pretty, they have beautiful face and slim body. In Thermae it was usual to have girls for 800/1000 for ST, the good stunners from gogos I got with 3000 for a LT! And now? In Thermae they try to get 2000/3000 for ST and in gogo they ask 4000/5000 for ST,. Its incredible, so crazy!

I live in Germany and a Sorttime here in my expensive town Munich is 50 to 100 EUR (2000-4000 Baht)! So why should I pay same and much more in a very poor country like Thailand?? Anybody still realize anything??

But what was happen? Since 2013 many chines people coming and throw out their money and also the western men compare that and do the same and pay every money the girls asking for. This is what the clever girls let make the prices higher and higher, because they know the stupid farangs will pay it anyway!

And you see its working! So many men pay that and also here in the forum people meaning its ok to pay 3000 for a ST, they have not enough experience or not much brain. This is much more than in our own country. Its not a question if you can afford it, its the fact that the girls cheat use as much as possible and laugh about this stupid farangs.

By the way I could afford to pay this high prices, but I don't do it, because I don't want to be this silly farang. And the girls trying more and more, in January I was there and in Ibar a girl was trying to get 4000/5000 for a Short time. I was laughng loud and asked her if there is much gold in her pussy. And 2 hours later I got a beauty girl for 2500 LT!

And now for all normal thinking men: There are enough girls around and also pretty one in discos, or other freelancer, or also some women from gogo when its late time in night and they want a business, which we can trade to a normal price and have a good time.

And for brainless men, its ridiculous to complain other user who knows that 1000/2000 is the right and normal price. They are right and you are the one without brain.

I am returning in October and am getting the same rate for a room I in stayed in August in LK, Soi 12. Their rates are changing in November. Don't think high season is starting now. Room rates are a good indicator of when the season crowd is expected.

I did not say I would pay 1000 baht for a gogo girl, I just say I don't want to go there because most of these girls are not so special comparing girls you can find everywhere. To me spending 3. 500 baht or more for 1 hour of sex with one of these pattaya girls is a waste of money.

If I want to buy a Ferrari I will go to an authorized-legit dealer, a place where I can get what I've paid for.

If I want to pay 3. 000 baht or more for a top girl I won't look in Pattaya, or at Therme, Soi Nana, etc. etc. There are many VIP clubs in Bangkok loaded of Univ. Girls. Then I'm going to pay 5 or even more thousand baht for a ST. Pegasus was one of these clubs, it's still there but not so good like before.

You actually said quite clearly you would never spend more than 1,000 Baht for a go go girl and you gave examples of places where you could spend that money and still get a girl of the same callibur. All we are saying is for 1,000 Baht you won't get a stunner. Simple and easy to understand I think.

The problem with what some guys pay is mainly one of experience and time.

If I were a short time holiday tourist I would go to Soi 6 instead of those expensive go-go's. Lot of beautiful girls in soi 6, you get what you pay, 300-350 for the room, 1000 for the girl and sometime 1000 total. Kinnaree in Jomtien is a good place too. Saturday and Sunday many beauties from Bangkok, price is 300 for the room and 1000 for the girl, plus you have a free buffet and atmosphere is very farang's friendly.

Some love the Go Go's. Some don't!

The problem with what some guys pay is mainly one of experience and time.

If this is their first or second time. Or they can only be off from work for 1-2 trips a year (Thailand and / or other dest combined) these guys are in a jam.

And, IF they cannot get more than a week off work (or less. Say just 3-5 days) , then these guys are faced with learning curve disadvantage and time constraint (and some budget constraint. Meaning they can only afford say a 5 day trip in addition to 2 travel days).

Guys who find themselves in this situation and say are very quickly on their last 48 hrs of a short visit will optimize differently. They've paid a lot for the travel and hotel already, their vacation days are mostly up... in a hurry. So they are now faced with either paying another $100-$150 a day for the last 2 nights vs not! And that's on top of at least $750-$1500 they have already spent in air , hotel etc for their short visit.

Statistically, the majority of visitors to Pattaya are only there for less than a week, often 5 days or less. After 48 hours, they realize, heck I've only got 3 days to go! Got to make the best of it. That's the Logic!

My next trip is for 5 weeks and then there are guys like BBoi who if I remember right maybe for 6 months. And folks like Mr ENT who is in and out and has a LT apt there. But these are the small minority. But even I act and decision differently on the last 2-3 days vs the first 20-30 days.

And , If I was girl working there I too would learn very quickly to focus on the guys who are quick turn around visitors and take the max I can. After all, from their POV it looks like there are many thousands of suckers born everyday in Pattaya. That's how I would maximize for myself!

So, it's a tough situation if you are in a Go Go and they've already got you waste a few hours and spend say 500-1000 baht and there are say only 10-15 girls and 15-20 men.

The girls will always have a tomorrow with more suckers. But the quick tourist visitors have a ticking clock and after that they will be back in whatever shit hole they came from. Like India. Or prison county they came from like Norway or UK or Canada or you know where! Back in the USA! 👻.

As a result of all of the above 1 ) the majority of the guys will just focus on their short visit and optimize for themselves for the next 3 days ( without caring about anyone else or what will happen to prices and how it will affect things in the future) and 2) the girls will do what's in their immediate best interest based on where they are working , how they look vs other girl competition in their location , the number of guys in from of them and how much they absolutely need to make for the next few days besides what they make from the drinks guys buy for them. Neither side is thinking next month or next year. So, what you have is you have ..... The net result of this 2 party group and individual dynamic of time constraints , $ and optimization for each from their POV.

Go-go bars women have become more expensive than the ones in any brothels around Europe. 800 up for bar fine plus 2. 500 up for the ST. Absolutely not recommended. In Thai Friendly many girls around 1000 - 1. 500 for ST. Beach road still 1000 easy.

Interesting you say that. Booking dot com just sent me an email and next week the Pattaya hotels are dirt cheap for low season. Not sure why you think next week is the start of high season, it's not.

I can see you are not a gogo guy at all by this sentence. 500-1000 baht won't last 30 minutes in most gogo bars if you are buying ladydrinks. 10-15 girls? Sensations, Baccara, Happy on a good night have over 100 girls each, with FAR fewer men.

I search high and low for top optics. Skipping gogo clubs altogether makes no sense to a guy where looks is the highest priority.

Out of my current main girls, 5 are from gogo clubs, 3 from beer bars, 2 from Soi 6, and 3 from G- clubs. Also have 3 Thermae girls in BKK. Just met an amazing beer bar girl the other night who would rank #2 in the looks department. Personally, when I walk into iBar / Insomnia, 808, Mixx, Red Car, etc. I can't find any who are top optics.

Haha. You are quite right B Boi! I am not a Go Go guy at all. I did try a few Go Gos on WS, LK Metro and Soi Cowboy (BKK). I did not last long in any of them. I bought a drink for myself, bought at least 1 drink in each place, everywhere I went, but never finished my drink and left. I had zero interest in any of the girls I saw. For 2-3 drinks (I never went past 3 drinks in total anywhere) it was never over 1000 baht total. I believe the lady drinks were between 180-240 baht depending on the place. And I probably ordered a beer, which I probably did not even consume 50 PC. That's cause I like just Cuba Libres and I love to move around and dance (when I am at Insomnia) usually from say 115 am until at least 6 am. I usually go through at least 6 Cubas there each night.

Yeah, we are all different. For one thing, I am a lot older than you now, being in my latter 50's. And, I like interacting with girls in a freer environment, compared to where they are working (with a mamasan supervising them and with whom I also have to interact), and where they have set hours, have to wear a specific uniform, and drinks they are required to sell.

At places like Insomnia or a regular Masaage place, things are bit different, and the girl has more freedom. And, I like legit massage places where they don't offer extras on site, but it's upto to you to see if you can get them to visit you. Same thing with places like Kinnaree, I would only take the girl out, LT.

But, if they have to work at 1 or 2 pm the next day, then they can't be with me 24*7, which is what I like. One girl said she could stay with me if I paid 400 baht a day, for her to miss work at a Restaurant / bar. Of course, since I liked her. I did. She never asked for anything and I gave her close to 10 K baht (for 3 days), plus meals, drinks and shopping outside of that. So, yeah. You and I come at this travel adventure thing from different angles and objectives. Just different. And so I am not being pejorative at all. Just different ways of adventuring and seeking whatever it is we like.

I hate sitting down and ogling women either topless or in a bikini. Does nothing for me! I used to. In my 20's and I liked it somewhat then. Those who know me can vouch for the fact that I never sit in a bar (even a sports bar in the US, unless I am there also to eat with others). I like dance clubs because I like to move around ALL THE TIME. Just sitting or standing in one place is just not something I like to do.

I like hanging in a place for a long time, dancing and enjoying the ambiance. I watch most of the women carefully over a long time to see how they talk, interact with others, the expressions on their face and consistency in personality. Optics are important, but what you call top optics is not as important to me. I look to decipher the person, the personality, kindness, consistency of behavior over time, and see if I can get a read on their humanity (or lack thereof).

The reason being I am not looking to keep score or tabs on quality. And instead focus on the totality (or the gestalt) of the experience since my plan 'a priori' is also to find a girl I would like to be with for several days. So, for example, last time I was in Pattaya (for 3 weeks), I only went with 6 girls. Only 3 I liked a lot and they all stayed with me for several days each. One was only 1 night and the other 2 days. One was a 20 year old massage girl who would stay overnight from 11 pm-2 pm and on those nights I did not go to Insomnia. I never do ST. I don't do Soi 6, other than to just walk around. I never actually went into a single beer bar.

I did go to many massage places but not the fish bowl kind (although I have done that before). This next time will be 5 weeks and I doubt I want to find more than 10 girls. And hope to find 4-5 keepers. I am hoping to find at least 3-4 massage girls from the non-fish bowl places. I never found anyone at any other clubs besides Insomnia. But, I may try to look harder this next time around.

Also, while I could spend more than I do, I try to spend conservatively, since I do have about $5 k of fixed expenses in the USA whether or not I am living any days in the USA. Same thing. I just finished a 18 day vacation to Maui in July / August, where I just chill, hang out in the resort, drink at the pool bar, get served by my lounge chair and I read and reflect and hit some really great restaurants and that costs me about $9-11 K every year. With my daughter. So zero girls! (So, I do strange things other than Pattaya and I've been in Maui, for about 30 something visits over the years.) In other words, I, unlike some others take a more wide angle view of living and adventuring. I will be doing that again for about 25 days in the DR when I visit the Puerto Plata and Cabarete area 3 weeks from now. For me, that is completely different. I have at least 50 new contacts and I have been conversing with them on various web sites for about 2 months now. I do things completely differently in the DR, including taking some of them to some truly outstanding all inclusive resorts for 3-4 nights, each. But, I only do that twice in 25 days and the rest in different beach town in a hotel or an apartment. Again, I take a wide angle approach to experiencing that sort of travel adventure.

So, I am never in a hurry. I am in for the adventure, meeting people of all kinds, learning and thinking, as I interact and contemplating macro things about life, and everything else. I am not just into optics. I am into meeting interesting human beings with a little bit of genuine humanity in their hearts.

None of this takes away from your approach. Since it is by definition just different, but in no way any less valid or any less appropriate. I am so very glad that we are all different and see, proactively and reactively probe and experience the reality of life that is front of us, and everything in it, in a way that we each prefer best, at that specific time and place, I. E. Our 4 D universe.

Thought this info may be helpful for those planning a trip next year. Just my personal observation based on the venues I visit but these past 2 weeks I have noticed much fewer girls at almost all the Pattaya places. All June, July, and most of August seemed fine not significantly different than say March or November when I have previously been here.
