It is more of being a shopper's advocate than being the price police. If you could tell me how to save money for purchasing an identical product, then I surely would not blow you off and scream do not tell me how to spend my money. It is not about not having it to spend. It is about not paying it when it is not necessary. You should not look at it as a monetary amount because that tells you nothing. As businesses do, you should look at it as a percentage. If you can get the chick for 1000 but you paid 1500, then you should look at it as paying 50% more than you should have.

You seem to have a very naive idea about how markets work or do you really believe that every morning a committee of working girls convenes to analyse market trends and set the rates for the next night?
