So many stories from today, but let me tell one more before I fall asleep next to my new girl. We left Whats Up and went to Angel Witch. It was my navy and college buddy's last few hours so we had to make them count. He went in and immediately had 3 chicks. He ended up passing one off to Cool after he did Buddha knows what to her. At What's Up on Soi 15 in Pattaya, I was denied admission altogether with no "option" of purchasing a "membership". I went to a place right across the street where their doormen had witnessed what had just happened. They were extra courteous and welcomed me in. When I left, again extra courtesy and giving me back slaps knowing that I had been treated with great disrespect across the street.

But here's the pisser about What's Up. So, I take Soi 15 back up to Walking Street and there are two barkers or touts there for What's Up. They have signs and they stop me and encourage me to go check the place out, obviously not knowing what happened before! Unbelievable! I explained to the two guys how I had been denied admission and was told "members only" and all that bullshit.

They understood, and then stood there looking a bit dumbfounded and incredulous. I looked back down Soi 15 towards What's Up, put two birds (middle fingers) up into the air and yelled, "Yeah, What's Up? What's Up? Fuck you!" I did it again, and then me and the two guys had a laugh about it. And then I moved on. Evidently, What's Up's racist door policy hasn't been disseminated all the way down to the rank and file working the streets.

I can't wait to see how it turns out for him.

Cool took me by there tonight. Here is my review from being in there for all of 2 minutes.

First of all I don't think the name is Whats Up. If I am not mistaken, it had a name on top of the sign and underneath that name it said "By: What's Up".

The place is loud as fuck. I could not even hear the girl trying to explain the prices to me. So negotiating was definitely a no go.

The drink menu did not have prices on it. Whenever that is the case prepare to bend over.

They have kindergarten seating. Miniature stools or benches that when you sit on them your knees touch your chest. At the prices they are trying to charge, each guy who enters should have his personal throne to sit in.

There were tons of women, and from what I could gather most if not all fit the Thailand model type. By that I mean they were white skinned and tall. Looked like they stepped off a billboard or out of a TV commercial.

If I ever pay this much for pussy I will not. From what I could gather over the ear shattering music there are 2 tiers of women. The low tier: Barfine 1500, Short time 3000, Long time 5000. The high tier: Barfine 3000, Short time could not hear, Long time wish I did not hear (10,000).

I mongered in Phuket many years, practically always at Hollywood disco. I've never set foot in a bar, or go-go (of which there are very few anyway). Another friend of mine wouldn't even bother with the disco, he would find girls on Bangla road or other ways. I've never found the prices to be higher than in Pattaya, either for ladies or anything else. Sure some tried, e.g. the street food 100B a dish, but one would just have to move to the next stop. There even more than in Pattaya is vital to drive a scooter otherwise one will be pray of the bike / small taxi gouging. Right now the hotels have more aggressive Expedia promotions than in Pattaya. I don't go there anymore just as a matter of "personal choice", laziness if you will.

I do not agree at all. I have been spending a lots of time in both Phuket and Pattaya during the past 3-4 years and consider everything to be a lot more expensive in Phuket. Just a few samples:

-Kebab at street stalls. Phuket: 100 baht. Pattaya: 60 baht.

-A regular beer in a beer bar. Phuket mostly 80-120 baht. Pattaya mostly 60-80 baht.

-A lady drink in a beer bar. Phuket: around 200 baht. Pattaya: around 120 baht.

-A standard drink in one of the most famous night clubs. Phuket: 250 baht. Pattaya: 120 baht. Four drinks in Phuket: 1000 baht. Four drinks in Pattaya: 480 baht.

-A standard drink in agogo. Phuket: around 200 baht. Pattaya: around 150 baht.

-Transportation. Minimum fare with a Phuket Tuk Tuk: 200 baht. 300 at night time if you want to ride home with a lady. Pattaya Songtaews: 20 baht. In night time with a lady: still 20 baht.

-Barfines. Phuket Bangla Road bars: Standard: 1500 baht. Range: 1000-1700. Pattaya WS bars: Standard 800. Range: 400-1000.

Conclusion: Lets say you have a kebab, two regular beers in a beer bar, you buy two lady drinks, one drink at a agogo, four drinks at a famous night club, goes back to the bar and takes another beer and a lady drink, barfines the lady in the bar and ride her home to your place.

Spending in Phuket: 4000 baht + payment to the lady (wich also use to be higher in Phuket).

Spending in Pattaya: 2100 baht + payment to the lady.

The night out in Phuket would be almost double as expensive as in Pattaya.

By the way: Hollywood is out. Almost no people there anymore. Instead a new place, Illuzion, is the number one place in Phuket. Illuzion is very far away from what Hollywood was. Hollywood was the perfect environment for FL pick ups. Illuzion comprises very much of huge VIP areas to which you have no access unless you buy at least one full bottle of spirits priced 4500 baht and upwards. Girls gets in to the VIP's and gets bottles for free if in a group of four ladies or more, or if they know the security guys.

It has been about three years since I've been to Pattaya. There were pretty many freelancers in the Coconut Bar (Beech Road) who were available for $500 to $700 baht, is this still the going rate?

Yes, they're still around, and 700 is still the going rate. Unfortunately, quality is far lower than what you might remember, and due to police raids the time window when most of them are out is fairly limited (19.30 until midnight or so).

Beach Road used to be my bread and butter as well, but since about two years ago, it has become more difficult to find anyone passable there.

As for other places with freelancers, they're all over. There's walking street and places behind (2nd road near VC hotel).

Ladyboys are aggressive on Soi 6,7,8. And some have tried to fool me which dispels the just ask if unsure theory. Some even invite you to grab there crotch. But I think that is a ruse to feel you up in return.

We will get more into this when we meet up in a couple of hours, but one sure sign is that they do this. A normal woman walking down those streets will almost never grab your dick or your arm. A normal woman will only first block you from walking then she will put her arms around you and try to push you towards her bar. The first thing a LB is going to do is either grab your dick or reach out and grab your upper arm with one hand. But I have never had any of them try to trick me. I had corrected him on lady drink prices earlier. His friend may be confusing LOS with Phils. One way girls are fleecing customers is they are not ordering full size beers and getting very small drinks. Filipinos will generally sit with you longer and if you are a slow drinker match the pace at which you are consuming your beverage. So a Thai lady can consume her drink in well under 10 minutes. And discern quickly whether you will keep the overpriced drinks flowing or search for her next payday.

Yesterday me and my friend went to the Telephone Bar. Now I was just showing it to him. I did not plan on sessioning because my LT chick from the night before had just left my room and I don't much dig paying 1000 for a ST when I pay that for a LT. When we walked in 2 chicks approached us. I said that I liked the bartender so she went and switched to a bikini while some other chick went and worked behind the bar.

Since I did not plan on sessioning I went ahead and bought her a drink so I could sit there and touch her body and get her to touch mine. I do not know if it was supposed to be 500 additional or 200 with the 300 fee that was already supposed to be paid to the bar to total 500. What I do know though that the place where I was was hotter than 2 rabbits fucking in a wool sock.

Talking about expensive: In Phuket many of the bars (not agogos, just ordinary bars) along the Bangla road walking street have a barfine of 1500 baht and the ladies wants 3000-4000 for LT and of course some 200 baht lady drinks / shots before accepting to go. Totally 5000 baht.
