First time I going to travel to thailand and off into pattaya. Theres one thing I'm not sure enough. When you guys mention soi 6 or 8 etc.

On the map I can see one main line alone call beach road and then I can see walking street stated. Are all these IN the walking street? Or on the map I actually looking at pattaya road 1 2 3 and so on?

No, isn't in WS. These are the soi that connect the beach road to the second road from north to south.

Asking price does not mean standard price. There is no standard price. Maybe they took a look at you and figured you were good for a certain amount and that is what they asked for. Laugh and offer them 500. There is a saying that goes if you are not embarassed by your offer, then you are offering too much. The same can be said on the other end for the other party.

MF you go to them yourself and put them in a 1 to 10 rating. Nobody got time to do things to your specifications when they are out trying to enjoy their vacation.

I've just found a new career. I'll get people like him to pay me to visit gogos and beer bars so I can give him a 1-10 rating. I'll probably branch out and barfine several for him, but that's going to cost extra.

What time were you in Soi 6 Friday night? Me and my girlfriend rode through about 11 pm after I had some work done on my bike. To me it seemed to be tons of girls there. Leaving 6 I noticed between Pattaya Klang on down that all the SWs were on the opposite side of the road from the beach. And there were some nice ones too. I wanted to push my girl off and pick up one.

Anyway I think you can help out here to put these clubs in a 1 to 10 rating. Will be helpful to have a visit with something in mind. And let's consider the time is early evening say 7 PM+.

I arrived late evening Friday night. After having dinner, stopped in at the Telephone bar 2 on Soi Lengkee. All the ladies were wearing panties and no tops dropped when a lady drink was bought. Was told the Bangkok police were in town and there was one inside Telephone Bar.
Went to Soi 6 afterwards, and the mood just wasn't the same: Less ladies present, no ST rooms were open. One of the Soi 6 bar managers stated the police had cleared Beach road of SW.
The previous night, they were in Walking street conducting checks and detained 30 foreigners for not having their passports. Photo copies were Not accepted.
Everything will close at 11:59p Sunday. In the past it's always been a 24Hr closure, however, rumor has it, the venues will not be allowed to reopen until Tuesday night. Something about this being the oldest Buddha holiday.

It happens every now & then in each country. Somebody tells something then somebody else comes and he tells something else. Their is no point of arguing with somebody even for 50 bahts if it's a charge genuinely. I guess you learned your lesson & we all can show our aggression somewhere else (You know what I mean).

Me and my brother had a situation just outside of Walking Street at the small bars leading to the Beer Garden. It was very late, maybe only one bar left open because we were buying for everyone still there. I went to the 5 baht room which is for all the bars in the area, the bar mamason said it was late, so no charge. I finish and come back, now my brothers turn. He goes and as he's leaving, some dude comes up to him demanding 5 baht. My brother blows him off and heads back to the bar. This dude, who is actually a security guard, strikes him in the ear from behind. My brother is a big dude, and a black belt, but he knew better than to kill the little fuk. We demanded the bar call the police (like that was going to happen). We actually remembered there was a tourist police post nearby, where the police were all sitting watching TV (imagine that). They finally came over and we got an apology and advise that it wouldn't be worth our while to press charges. All this over 5 baht!

I agree with what you are saying to a point. Many Farangs are putting themself at risk for small amounts of money. Mainly because they don't understand Thai culture and how saving face is paramount. There have been times when I could have argued over 10,20, 500 bt. But if you understand that 500 bt is $17.00 to us but to them it is big money and saving face, you yield pay the extra and don't go back. I would never say risk your safety over money which we consider small. Even 5000 I would consider not worth the risk.

I'm just saying it is good now that the government is taking notice now and saying beating the shit out of foreigners now in big money discos is unacceptable although we all know it is still going to happen with foreigners that are not Savvy.

But to me it's very much confusing to decide how to place the clubs in a line of 1 to 10 considering your ratings. It would have been great if you could have mentioned the times you visited each of them.

Anyway I think you can help out here to put these clubs in a 1 to 10 rating. Will be helpful to have a visit with something in mind. And let's consider the time is early evening say 7 PM+.

We all know gogo prices are climbing so if I'm going to barfine a girl, I want her to either have the best personality with a decent body or a fantastic body and be dambed about everything else. So I walk into a gogo expecting to pay 4000 baht at most of the walking street gogo's (less in LK metro). Can I negotiate down a 1000 baht barfine and a 3000 baht short (or long) time? ID give it a go if its at all possible without trying to upset the girl and the service to boot. That being said, I sit down and get a drink and turn down all the ugly girls who run over trying to grab a drink. I then look at the lineup and in my head figure out who's worth the 4000 and who isn't. I then rate the club based on their lineup of top tier talent. Here's a comment on some of the gogo's I visited and what I thought of their lineup vs price ratio.

The Office in LK metro. Some stunners, seems they like to put the hot ones all on stage at the same time and then the dogs later. Once you walk in the token dogs come running trying to get a ladydrink before you have a chance to look at the stunners. Ratings: 6.

Ninja in LK metro. Higher degree of stunners, mamasan came over and gave me an outrageous price for a dog tier girl. Fun club to stop in for a beer. Ratings 6.

Paradise in LK metro. Price wise a fantastic deal, some really cute girls although not as much as on offer as Ninja. Ratings a 6.

Peppermints on WS: decent amount of girls, some cuties but their prices are a tad high. Ratings a 6. 5.

Electric Blue: some cute talent, some topless and naked girls and a fantastic 45 baht beer happy hour. Fun club to visit, couldn't tell you about the price but for club fun alone its a 7. 5.

What's Up on WS. Some cute talent, way way overpriced on everything. But if I'm going to fork out a large amount of cash, the talent just didn't wow me. Ratings a 6. 5.

Sapphire on WS. Tons of girls (and a few LB's maybe), many of the girls fall into the average range. They might be hotter naked but if they are fully clothed and don't set off my dick radar, not much chance of a barfine. My two other buddies who visited last year also voted thumbs down for the overall lineup. Plenty of bodies to fill the venue but its not like last year. Ratings a 6. 5 (easily a 8. 5 last year).

Farenheit: There are some cuties here and many of them are topless on the stage. Numbers aren't as high as some of the other clubs but prices are a bit easier to handle after 11 pm. Ratings a 7.

Wildcats: lineup is hit and miss but if you get the right girl the club is a rocking. Buddy and I each bought two girls drinks and as soon as they got to our seats dropped their panties to the floor. Fingers fingers everywhere. Barfine is high but prices are reasonable. Right time of night this club can be a 9, other times its barely a 4.

Windmill: Went there twice, left after one beer each time. Lineup has a few good lookers but the rest are dogs. Gone is the cutie who did all the pussy inserts of last year, making the club a boring venue. Ratings 6.
