There is a Tony's gym on Soi Buakhao that's ok. Also three more gyms on 3rd road, right near South Pattaya.

A one hout flight from HCM to BKK and two hour bus ride to Pattaya took 11 hours. I was pretty tired after arriving about 9:30 pm. Found my way to Honey Inn. Took the manager's recomendation and ended up with someone's mother. I couldn't get an erection with her. I haven't banged a girl over 22 for years. I should have asked more questions, anyway WS tonight looking for attraction and youth tonight.

That sucks. I just came back from a short trip to HCMC. It should only take 4-5 hours. For a future trip, there are 2 bus options downstairs right next to each other. Best to check the departure times with both of them. Then, if you decide to wait for the next bus, hang around the counter area. Sometimes you can get lucky and get a seat if someone cancels. Or you can decide to grab a cab.

When I got back last month, there was a 2 hour wait for the next bus. The one leaving in 15 min and the one after that were already sold out. I told the guy at the counter, to please tell me if I can get a bus sooner. He agreed. I ran off to the restroom and came right back. I had decided to grab a cab instead. Then as I waited to return my ticket (only 2 people in front of me), I found a guy and his friend with the same problem. I suggested we all grab a cab and share the ride. They agreed. So what happens next, I hand in my ticket and ask for a refund and the guy at the counter tell me someone cancelled. He exchanges my ticket and I'm on the bus leaving now. I apologized to the other people and told them what just happened. Then I told them where to grab a cab upstairs and how much they should pay.

In the past I saw 2/3 Tony's gym and Universal gym on Suk Rd. No one had modern equipment. Now is 2 years that i dont go in Pattaya's gym so can't help you.

There are plenty of hotels to stay near Walking Street, where most of the GoGo bars are located and on the Beach Road where Beer Bars are located. Of course, there are Beer Bars on Soi Cow also but since you appear to be interested in GoGo bars, you can stay on Beach Road and surrounding areas. You can find hotels near Walking Street on booking.com, which offer very good prices and hotel descriptions are accurate. I agree with you that it can be fun. I had a similar experience in a GoGo bar. I was with a very pretty girl and had relaxed drinks with her. True. I thought some of my soapie girls were 19 and they tell me they're 23-24. Oddly, the only girl I hung out with who was actually 19 (the one who got turned away at the hotel) I had no clue she was so young, mainly because she acted mature.

I had two buddies here just 2 weeks ago. They went and had a better time this trip than the previous trip. It's pretty cheap, about 300 baht standard room rate / barfine fee, plus 500 for a BJ = 800 baht and I believe FS is 1000 plus room = 1300 baht (just ask when you arrive). You can do everything! Get a BJ right there on a couch in the open or go up to a room for privacy. Your choice. Enjoy.

This place is out of the way. Near S. Pattaya and Suk. Go down South Pattaya to pattaya tai 2 and turn left. Follow the road and go left and left again. Best to take a bike taxi.

How is June / July / Aug as a time and is there anything I should have in mind?

The low season (rainy season) is my favorite time to visit. Rooms in quality hotels are bargain rate. The girls will be VERY happy to see you. Walking street is navigable thanks to the absence of idiotic tour groups. You will have a great time. Just bring a good umbrella, water proof shoes-waders, Ha Ha, (huge puddles are common after a down pour), and sun block. The sun does come out, sometimes for days at a time.

I was there most of August last year and the weather was good. I don't remember it raining all that much. Just a drizzle here and there. And its an excellent time to Monger as the pickings are good and there aren't too many customers. I hear September and October are even better. But sadly I never can get away that time of year.

HSH, Telephone Bar has shut down. Similar option seems to be "Bar de la Poste" on Soi Lengkee, no idea if the owner is same as Telephone bar. I had read an FR some time back and If I remember well a BJ was for 500 baht. Room cost was additional 400 baht and FS was 700 baht. Package deal for a BJ + FS was 1000 THB. Prices might have changed now.
