To give you an idea how bad it is now along the beach, and how hard it is to find a really good 500 baht b.b. 3-hole service provider, I actually sent 1,500 baht to an old favorite to help her return to Pattaya from Chiang Rai. So back in Patts again after being away for awhile. Trying to scope out what the prices are these days. Just for background, I'm a 35 year old male, not too fat but not too skinny either.

Went to a few beer bars last night at various places and it appeared that bar fines were 300-400 and wanting 1000 for short time.

Can someone tell me what's going on in Pattaya. I hear that everything is changing. Is Pattaya still the mongering paradise or is it turning in to a family resort or a place for couples. I was in Pattaya 5 years ago and had a blast. And although 5 years is not a very long time but how much has changed. I'm not an old monger (33 years) but I'm planing for a trip in October. Well, I just came back from RedCar solo though not before almost finding someone for the rest of this short evening as it 4 am. I agree with your assessment of the talent in this bar. Some fairly attractive girls were there along with a few stunners who rolled through who seemed to be looking for their stud muffins.

Around 2 am, I noticed a taller Thai girl with glasses and her hair in a bun. Another girl at her table called me over to get the ball rolling. This girl, who said her name was Linda, seemed that she might be a lot prettier once she disposed of the glasses and took her hair down though anytime I meet a tall girl in Thailand I am always a bit wary of the LB implications. Anyway, she was dressed quite conservative in a dark skirt and white blouse almost like a desk clerk uniform or office outfit. She told me she worked for the Hyatt in Bangkok near Siam but was staying in Jomtien at a friend's condo. We talked for the rest of the evening until the bar closed at 3:30. Part of the convo, she mentioned going to Spassos disco at the Hyatt, which I hear is an upscale place but since she claimed to work at the Hyatt, I did not think much of it. I also told her I was staying at a nice place in Pattaya, which may have raised the stakes for me somewhat. When we reached the entrance, I told her that I would like to go with her. Her response? -- 'What else do you want to tell me?

My response was 'I think you are very nice' as I did not want to bring up money in case she meant something else. She then said no that's not what I meant. Finally realizing where the conversation was going 'I said how much do you want? Her reply: How much do you want to pay me? All of a sudden, it occurred to me that I was dealing with a pro here and not a part time free lancer as I had hoped. So I said I could pay bh2000, which incidentally is the amount you recommended for long time from this bar. She lifted her hand and said higher. I stuck to my guns at Bh2000, whereupon she said that she wanted bh3000. I said no again as I would only pay the 2000.

Finally, I walked and as I turned around to give her one last look, she had a semi-sneer on her face, a part of her personality that had not been displayed in the bar. I also wondered if she, indeed, might be a LB just based on the mercenary turn in our conversation and perhaps a change in her vocal tone though it was so loud in the RedCar and on the street it was hard to tell. The most I have paid a free lancer in Bangkok, who I have met in a bar or club, was bh2000 for LT and several times no money was requested at all so that and the standard upper limit price you noted of 2000 was also the limit for me. Also, as our convo deteriorated, I started to become less interested. Since I have not been turned down yet at 2000 LT in Bangkok, I was not going to start paying that price here. The whole convo basically ended up killing my mood.

BTW: I also visited Baby Dolls earlier off WS. Did not ask about BF amount as most of the girls were on the chunky side. In fact, I thought they could rename the bar to "BabyFat".

Then I stopped in Windmill for the first time. I found myself upon entry sitting next to a stunning lithesome girl who told me she just moved here from Surat a few days ago. Bingo! Or so I thought. This girl as they say in Texas was a tall drink of water. After a bit, I asked her for the BF amount, which she did not know! Turns out, she is a coyote and totally unavailable per MamaSan. The most I have paid a barfine was 300 bhat a few days ago at a beer joint in Pattaya, which I looked at as a type of cover charge. Indeed, it is the only BF I have paid since arriving in Bangkok in January. It's safe to say, I am not going there and frankly doing well without the go go's.
