Hell, in my favorite destinations (Brazil and Germany) you take your damn clothes off and walk around in a robe or just a towel! How you dress has nothing to do with it. But even in other places where I have mongered that aren't terma or FKK set-ups, as you say money, personality, looks, and hygiene have more to do with it than anything else. Who the hell cares what I'm wearing? It's all coming off anyway LOL! Wherever this conversation goes please, please, please let's not debate the pros and cons of wearing shorts not ever again! I had enough of that one man! But these guys who think you need to wine and dine and dress to the nines, I call those guys "Don Juan Johns". If you think you need to do all that, then fine. Completely agree to what you describe below. Went to DD once, and though they did what they told me they would do, it felt very mechanical.

On top of that, the girls were talking Thai in between all the time, which made me look like the 5th wheel in the room.

I decided to check off Devils Den experience from my bucket list so utilized their services last week. I selected a couple girls from their website but when I called David, the helpful manager, I was told they were either ill or unavailable. I think I have seen someone sent away, but it _may_ have had to do with dress code. I have seen a lot of different ethnicity inside. Try dressing smart and if they don't let you in, complain to the tourist police is stationing right there. Go straight to the most senior person and ask if in Thailand racism is acceptable. No matter the outcome that will embarrass them as they deserve.

I have seen many times over the years mostly Indians and Russians being held up at the door of Red Car being told "private club". They would let in the odd Russian couple but no Indians. I went there on Saturday and there were a few Russians but no Indians.

I think you are off base. Mr E. Has always come across as a pretty down to earth guy to me. These girls are in it for the $$ If they want to form a relationship it is generally for the money. Lose sight of that and you are in for a fall. One thing some on here forget or do not get is that this scene is a very small portion of Thai society. Certainly the outside world does not get it.

Dressing spiffy might give you some additional initial traction with the uber hotties or semi-pro's as they tend to be more selective. Dressing somewhat decently will get you traction with most.

Is the discussion getting the girl or having a robust personal encounter? One you couple up it is all about attitude and chemistry and how you treat them. IMO repeat visits pay big dividends as the ladies are complimented and are familiar and comfortable with you; which leads to an increased probability of a GFE / PSE.

Not a world I have to do with, but I understand it takes more than just using yaba to be given a long sentence, even if the law would allow harsh punishment, it is not normally given.

Anyway if I knew of a lady doing time, and she had been nice to me before, I would go visit if possible.

Repeated yaba possession convictions and particularly if they can claim it was 'with intent to sell' will lead to long term incarceration. Anyway, there is no 'law' in this country, it is all pretty much arbitrary and based on bribes, mafias, etc. I have once visited a girl in the local jailhouse, it was interesting. You have it backwards. They are advertising the product so the person who the ad is geared toward (the customer) will want to make the purchase. The people who ran the add could care less about what the customer is wearing, as long as the customer has enough money to buy it off the shelf and take it home. You as the customer are the purchaser, so they need to glam the product up to make you want to spend your money on it (hence the well dressed people in the ad). When I go buy that new Lexus I don't need to put on my Sunday best. The salesman could give a shit what I am wearing; he only wants to know if I can afford the car. Go ahead and dress up and go down to Walking Street without a baht in your pocket and see how far your nice clothes get you.
