David, VR taxi service is very much active. Posting this message from the cab on way to BKK now. I will PM you the name and no of the driver. Send him a text with you flight no, time and date a day or two before and he will pick you up.

I'm pretty sure it's 1 K. Here is the email I got from him yesterday:

12/23 Soi 6 bar, Sex in the City held a Soi 6 bar Crawl. Crawl started about 530 p, went past midnight. 23 bars hit. I lost the remaining group after the 21st bar. Goal was to have at least one drink in each bar. All the bar names were placed in a bag, and picked at random. Went to some bars never visited before. After 21 drinks, my memory is not as vivid. But 1300 baht gets you upstairs for an hour at most places. BTW, a couple of decent gals at Sex in the City. It's a well run, fun bar.

Started at My friend you bar, It's a Soi 6 BJ bar. Some older decent talent.

U twat aka toy bar: Sign above bar states U twat.

1 direction: not enough ladies, was a one shot bar.

King Kong: Thumbs up, lady immediately started to grope me as some as I sat down. She was very persuasive, very tempting. Lady, with other member of group, got his Johnson out. He almost got a BJ in the bar area.

Passion go-go: Only ago-go on Soi 6, older dancers, quickly drank our beers and got out of there.

Pussy club.

Red point: I arrived after the group, outside the bar was empty of ladies, first time I've seen this. This bar is a favorite of mine and others in the group. Good selection of ladies. Group lost some members after this point.

Thai Rose.

Lucky love: Good selection of ladies, some in the group liked it.

Mandarin: Lady Boy bar, some in the group checked it out.

SKY bar.

Mods bar: One in the group was accused of not paying his bar tap. Had to return to sort it out.

Ruby: Fun bar with fun ladies.

Bulldog: A one shot bar, lineup was poor.

Kawaii: A one shot bar, lineup was poor.

Roxy: The group had dwindled to a few, I took off to get some food. This is where I lost the group. Not sure where they went.

I returned to the Soi the next day. Wanted to checkout King Kong out some more. However, spotted some nice ladies at Click Bar. "Clicked" with one chick, and had best time so far. She was soo good, took her back to the Hotel. Proceeded to fuk our brains out, got little sleep. She took good care of me when we awoke too. GFE all the way.
BTW: Click's upstairs rooms leave a lot to be desired. Upstairs shower is not working. There was mold growing in the shower area of the room I was in. Red Point and Sex in the City have better rooms.

Finally returned to King Kong bar two days later. I didn't see the lady from the crawl. But again, soon as I sat down, and before I had my beer, had a decent gal on me. She immediately started to grope, and undid my shorts. (What a fun bar.) She also started to go down on junior. (How can you say NO?) At this point she hasn't even asked for a lady drink. We relocated to the back couches, so she and I could be more comfortable. Got a decent BBBJCIM. 1000 Baht damage for that.

Member on a competing forum is recommending a couple Soi 13/1, 13/2 bars for daytime action. Will go check them out later.

Does anyone know what's happened to Mr. Keak of VR Taxi Service? I've used him at least 25 times over the last 8 years, and I found his drivers to be quite reliable. I used him most recently at the end of August, but when I tried looking at his website today, it's gone. The site now says "The domain name has been expired".

Any recommendations for a reliable alternate?

There was a discussion about where the girls go very recently. Just read a couple of pages back.

No need to think. They go right across to the other side of the street, same as they do when it rains.

Last year only a few of them did that. And the reason is simple: the pavement at the other side of the street is too narrow and too crowded, certainly during the fair.

Plenty on W. S. Last night. Starting right in the front of the 7/11 next to the LightHouse Agogo. A half dozen standing outside. Another Bunch standing on 2nd Road across from the White Rose Hotel up from W. S. Another bunch in front of Big Mac, this was 10 pm.

I go to Pattaya mostly for the Beach Road, and will go elsewhere if the market is still on.

My gut feeling is the market will be there until after the new year.

LBM, I really appreciate your contributions to this forum but why do you always put a question mark at the end of a sentence that is not a question? It makes reading a bit confusing sometimes.
In your last post there's a question mark at the end of almost every sentence but there's only one genuine question in the whole post, LOL! (where you ask 'Why?')

Simple the information I give is sometimes hearsay and not first hand and is for you to ask not me. Guess been here too long and it is embedded in me like a " up to you thing ".

The question mark might be old information. There is places that were there yesterday but not there today.

The question mark for the bikes cost etc. Are not exact prices just speculation since the vendors will themselves guess to the price of the bike if you ask them what the cost might be. Everything is pretty much a unknown to Thai in my experience so I put a ? for readers just out of habit never pay too much attention to it until now. Thanks for pointing it out.
